The 1.000 year Great Sage ---> COMPLETED STORY

Ten years have passed. Seya was seated on a bench in the Fairy Garden on Gaya, watching from a distance a Unicorn giving birth to her offspring. Next to him, Ariel and Attina's daughter, Muia, were also looking. His son, Tobias, age 8, with his green hair similar to his mother Ryn, was pulling the arm of Theo, the LionKind son of Seya and Lionelia, also with 8 years old.

- Theo, look! I can see the front paws of the little one!

Theo pulled his arm away.

- Let go, Tobias, I can see it too, annoying little brat!

Muia punched Theo's head.

- Behave yourself! That's no way to talk to your brother! Do I need to lock you up in your room, for you to learn some manners?

- Sorry, sister… but sometimes he is so annoying!

That granted him another punch in the head.

- You are rather stubborn, aren't you? Reminds me of a certain Mermaid that I know…

Muia looked with a frown towards Ariel, that put her tongue out. Seya slowly shook his head.

- Too much noise… You are disturbing the Unicorns…

Before any of the children could apologise, a familiar voice came from their back. When Seya turned to face her, little Aria was smiling at him, but she wasn't little anymore, she was already 16 years old. She started to grow again, on the same day that the Demonoids were defeated. Slowly, over the last years, the Goddess Aria disconnected their minds, turning little Aria into a normal girl.

- So pretty, stupid Seya giving bad examples to the little children… Shame on you!

- Hello, Aria, you came right in time to meet the new Unicorn. It's funny that your holydays starts today, it's as if that little one was waiting for you...

Aria looked at the little Unicorn that was trembling, trying to walk to his mother tits to feed.

- I told you before, they may look pretty, but they are more or less horses, with the frightening fact that they have a spear made of Light Magic Crystal in the middle of the forehead. I always hated horses. Those big eyes and mouths so full of teeth… I always thought they wanted to eat me…

Seya smiled while looking at the baby Unicorn.

- Yeah, I know, you broke my heart when you said that when you saw the first couple of Unicorns and Pegasus that I made. I thought you would like them. I always wondered why the Goddess never created them. I only found out that she didn't like horses when she screamed in a panic the first time that I showed them to her.

- Yeah, you should have told her beforehand. I know my crazy older sister knew, but she managed to hide that fact from the Goddess. By the way, where is my Mother?

- Visiting Myshkasyl. Your Grandmother invited her to spend some days with her, but they will both arrive in two days, to be with you.

Aria smiled while making a braid on Ariel's hair.

- Do you miss her? I know you have Ryn and Lionelia to keep you occupied, but still…

- You know I do. But she said that she will come back to me and compensate for this time that we were apart. She normally does what she says. By the way, Gaya told me that you were approaching, seems that Birdy is no longer angry with you.

- Yeah… That crazy Pegasus. If I didn't like so much about flying, I would have made a barbecue of that annoying flying horse. He was the one to do a crazy ten kilometres dive to scare a Jumping Mouse that he saw on the ground, while I was on his back! And he got angry at me when I pulled his ear for scaring me like that! One of these days, I am going to knock him out!

- No, you won't. You say that, but I know that you like him. I saw both of you, once or twice, talking to each other. Well, you were talking, he was listening and nodding his head.

Aria finished Ariel's hair and now was on Muia.

- Yeah, you made the Pegasus and the Unicorns smarter than the Phoenix. They can almost talk! Well, at least, they understand everything that we say. Birdy is more intelligent than the average Pegasus that you see flying all around. A little crazy, but well… Talking about flying, I saw on the television at school in Rohan an expedition from Earth with Humans, LizardKind and Dragonoids, using your idea of Light Crystals and Fire Crystals in a spaceship, travelling at more than the speed of light, arriving at Rigel to deploy one of those Space Gateway Arches! They said that tomorrow, the travels to go there will be done by crossing it from all the other Arches! How many are there already?

Seya thought for a moment, counting how many Arches he made that was then put in place by one of those expeditions, over the last years.

- Six, but Nasa has ten more, ready to deploy. Last week, Princess Heiji and Myra's crew put one in the orbit of a planet in the galaxy of Andromeda. John was supposed to go with her, but he was travelling on Earth, training some Healers. I went there with the Goddess, for a quick visit. Rather funny, that planet. Everyone thought the blue that could be seen from orbit was water, but it was because of the vegetation.

- Erza went with Myra? Those two used to always be together!

- No, Erza has a lot of work with both of her business companies, she can't go with Myra every time she travels with Heiji to space. But they almost glue to each other, every time that Myra is back to her. I thought that having a little son to take care would distract Erza, but apparently, that's not happening.

Aria nodded.

- Yeah, it figures… Hina is going to come today? I don't see her as much as I used too since King Barunger took her as his heir.

- I think so. Well, Barunger was always nagging me that he wanted that I become the next Dwarf King, but I don't have time, patience, and I also don't like caves as much as Hina and Zak do. They will be amazing rulers, I am sure of it. Probably, even better than Arys and Duncan, if that is even possible.

- You didn't accept the BeastKind crown, right?

- No, that one will be for Theo, when he gets to the proper age. Lionelia is taking care of his Royal education, in the meantime.

Aria got up and hugged the children.

- One hug for each of you… Seya, I am going to talk a little with Ryn and Lionelia, I have a project on one of my classes and considering that they are working as Magic Teachers on Earth, I think they can give me an idea.

Seya frowned.

- You are still seriously attending classes? I thought you would quit, by now. They can't teach you anything that you don't know already!

- I am not going to quit! You know how much I like to study. So, at least you are joining us for dinner, right?

- Well, that depends. You came alone?

- Of course not! June came with me. What, you thought that we broke up because you scared him last time? Fat chance!

- I didn't want to scare him, I was just making sure that he knew what I would do to him if he ever made you cry… I know you like him, and he seems a great guy, but that doesn't mean that I trust him to make you happy!

Aria kissed his right cheek.

- I know we will be very happy together, don't worry. I am not my crazy older sister, remember?

- Yeah… where is she? I don't see her for quite some time. I am always waiting for her to sneak on me, to attack me!

- She is travelling all around Earth, where else she could be? You know how much she likes Humans. And our older sister is with her, just to make sure she doesn't do something stupid.

- Yeah, she needs a very short leash. I was hoping that she calmed down with age, but I guess she is not going to do that, any time sooner.

- So, and you, I know that you are enjoying your peaceful life, with your children and your occasional projects. What are you aiming next?

- Well, just the usual, trying to be worthy to be near the Goddess.

Aria smiled.

- You are on the right track, dear Seya… So, it will be me and June, you, Ryn, Lionelia and the children. Anyone else? You know how much I love a big family dinner.

- Well, Hina and Zak are going to come, and your little sister, Myko's niece, as well. She is in Aku Kiro's Dojo, as usual, but she will come for dinner like she always does. She likes to be around me to annoy me, even more than you did when you were her age. But she is funny, there's never a boring day or night with her around, that's for sure!

- Like if I wasn't funny… knnya… knnya… knnya… Speaking about annoying ones, what about Attina? She is avoiding coming here to be near you or what? I don't see her for quite some time.

Aria frowned.

- Maybe it was easier if you said who wasn't coming. I guess it's only Heiji, Myra and John, right?

- Yeah… And Rose Macleod. She is spending some holidays with her Macleod family on Earth, before returning to her job as a Great Healer on my lands. But don't worry, they will all come to be with you in a few days.

Aria smiled while going inside Gaya.

- Cool, just the way I like it, a big table full of friends and relatives!

Seya got up, opened a Gateway to the small Island under the Compressed Dimension that contained the Demonoid Island and he just stood in front of it, thinking. Ariel approached him and held his hand while Muia grabbed the other. Ariel looked through the Gateway.

- You are going there to pray? Or you just want to look at it?

- No, I want to go there for a while, to pay my respects to the ones that died.

Muia was also looking at the small Island.

- You always go there, every week, for the past ten years. Shouldn't you try to forget?

- I can't. I will never forget, and I will make sure that all of you learn the names of everyone that died so that you could have a peaceful life. Shall we go for this week's lesson?

Theo and Tobias run through the Gateway, with Theo going directly to one Obelisk.

- I remember where we stopped last week, father. I will start from there, ok?

- Yes, I will go to that one, where is the name of Bycary and Talya. Thirty minutes practise, ok? We can't be late for dinner or your mothers will be angry with us.

The children smiled and went to their Obelisks, to memorize the names of everyone that made it possible for their World to be safe. Seya made a seat out of rock and he went near one Obelisk, thinking and remembering on all that happened on that Island, years ago. He looked at his children and he made a small smile.

- See, Bycary? I did what you told me. I continued on living so that I could have amazing children. You would be proud of me. Our World is at peace, we have more Dwarfs, Elfians, BeastKind, RabbitKind and Humans living in here. And a lot of us went to live in Myshkasyl, Legosyl and Earth. As things are progressing, more Worlds are in our reach, among the stars. Things are looking good, around here. Talya would have a blast, messing with so many different people.

Seya smiled while looking at the Obelisk in front of him, remembering Talya's laugh every time he got embarrassed by another of her attempts to seduce him. The children were diligently memorizing the names on another Obelisk while seated on a rock bench, making sure to learn the names of everyone that died, so that they were never forgotten.
