The Adventurer System

On the ninth floor, Yumiro glimpsed at his feet as he felt the ground suddenly shook him after the two magma salamanders collapsed.

"No, this is bad, this place will collide in no time." Her eyelids widened as she discovered the distance of the next corridor was too far away from her.

She barely lifted her head, and seeing over her the magma commenced to drops to the ground, that seemed this place would be possible to become magma lake. The circumstances, where she hadn't give a chance to come closer to Grim Draigh.

"Ahh! I need to do this." Since the two monsters' cores were destroyed and one of them was already in Yumiro grasp, Asarki charged straightforwardly with her party member.

While her feet were hardly stomping on the ground, the magma liquid couldn't help to splash on her legs and body, so she crossed her arm to wouldn't touch it on her face.

Slip! Bam!

Yumiro frowned his brows after seeing Asarki slipped to the ground, and where her health power was decrease little by little.

"Ahhh! Help me!" She screamed as she knew she couldn't easily escape with her position. Half of her body was bathed of the magma liquid that gave her frustration. "Grim, please help me..." 

Since she wore leather armor, it absorbed the liquid which means her body was started to become heavier and it could slow down her movement.

Bam!

She regained her footing even though her legs shivered. Then took a glance at her front, seeing Grim already vanished in her vision. "Yeah, why he would bring a useless party member, like me?" She asked herself while her face was barely knitted because of the tremendous heat.

In just 30 meters, Asarki fatigue was down to 50%. Her main problem here, she needed 50 meters before she could reach the endpoint.

In her mind, even she used HP potions to sustain her health power it wouldn't be enough as her fatigue started to drain. Although she could last in the amid for 5 minutes, still she will just run out of HP potions.

Crack! Crack!

The ground in the entrance was colliding, it was like chasing her so she could fell to the eighth floor.

"I can't see anything..."

Since the brick portion collapsing, it created a brown smoke along with steam kept releasing by the magma. The whole place now had 15% of visibility.

To survive in this situation, she had one option; and it was to use the teleportation crystal so she could safely back in the Adventure Capital.

Her health power was reduced by 40%. "Inventory." In Asarki's grasp was the transparent crystal. "Sorry, Grim I can hang around to you for more. I still don't want to die here." She used the party function to send her message to Yumiro.

Bam!

Then suddenly, someone barely touched her shoulder. So she glimpsed on her behind, then saw Grim Draigh stood up there even his body was bitterly burned.

"Let's get out of here..." Yumiro said with a low voice. Moreover, his appearance went back in its original state as he used 3 consecutive skills of the knight.

There were tears behind her eyes glasses that seemed will fall at any moment. But, Asarki shook her head while slowly closes her eyes so no one could notice it.

"Why did you come back? It's impossible for me to survive in that kind of path." She pointed her index finger to the boiling ground, while the ground in Yumiro's behind was colliding.

"I thought, we are going to beat the dungeon record?" Yumiro said then patted his body to remove some magma plastered to him.

She uncontrollably nodded as she agreed to his words. "Yes! But... I can't do anything in this situation, I'm not the kind of adventurer who had high agility to pass it or strength to could last." She admitted all her flaws as she realized she just giving her party member a hard time on this expedition.

"Hurry up! There's no time." He raised his voice, then offered his back to Asarki. "Come on, ride."

Boom! Boom!

The explosion inside gets stronger. "I thought I would never come closer to you or any body contact." She said with a lifeless tone.

"Hurry up, idiot! There is no time for your nonsense question."

After Yumiro's words, Asarki forcefully hopped on her back. Then suddenly his face was reddened as he felt something that he never experienced before.

[Dash!]

He bowed his head while dashing, as a soft thing kept bouncing on his back, and supposedly the main reason why the tremendous heat he felt suddenly increased.

Asarki's arms were embraced on Yumiro's neck, while she covering her head by using Yumiro's shoulder.

"This is literally uncomfortable..." Yumiro murmured.

Bam! Bam!

Yumiro dodged all the objects that fell to the ground by using his high agility. Also, he raised his arms to protect his body from the big portion.

He jumped around and used some surface that wouldn't affect by the occurrences.

Swish! Swish! 

"It's almost near..." Asarki whispered close to Yumiro's ear that made him shivered and lost his stability for a couple of seconds.

Her voice was like heat the boost Yumiro's body. "What are you doing? Don't talk closer to my ears." After those words, he bent his body a little bit so the air wouldn't block his speed.

Boom! Bam! Bam!

At the very last moment, before the explosion occurred Yumiro was able to leap to the next floor. However, they rolled many times as the strong force hardly pushed them, just like explosion of a bomb

In this situation, they were assured that no one of the adventurers could make it to reach the tenth floor since the ninth was totally destroyed, and the red gate was automatically closed.

"Jeez, finally." Yumiro smirked as he was already on the freezing ground that made him comfortable.

Water drops touched on his face, it seemed it was the moist came from the steam. Hence, it absorbed the place temperature.

His body was full of second-degree burns and bruises.

This was the first time his health power decreased like this. More than that, he realised not only the monster was the opponent in this dungeon, also the dangerous event that might happen.

The monsters weren't strong for him since they had a white screen name, however, the setting of the place was changed everything that seemed could turn the favor.

'I understand that I needed to not always depending on how strong the monster or what kind of skills it had. I should also rely on the possible event that will happen in a certain place.'

All those ideas were faded away, when Asarki face appeared closer to him. He didn't recognize that he embrace Asarki's body when they were rolling to the ground.

"Ahh... Are you okay, Grim?" She asked him with a weak tone.

Yumiro wanted to push him, but when the time he saw her condition he just twisted the body and perfectly placed her on the ground.

"Come on, get one potion. We need to proceed to the next door." Yumiro said, then leaned his back on the corridor wall.

"G-Grim, can we stay here in the meantime." She said with a seductive tone.

"What?!"
