The Adventurer System

Yumiro lifted his head as there was a large number signed that appeared over his head, at the same time, he had worried eyes since the monster in front of him could easily deal high damage. 

"Why there's number one sign over my head?" He asked himself without a stunned tone. He tried to remove it by wiping it, but it still the same, the elevated number won't vanish. Way more looked like it was a hologram.

Ring!

He heard a dinging sound as a new notification came from the system that appeared right before his eyes; after he finished pointed his index finger onto it for 3 seconds.

[It's the counting of the monster stack attack if it reaches the right number the monster passive skill will be a trigger.]

Swish!

He closed the tab screen, then darted his eyes red eyes into the aggressive monster as it seemed it will release a new tremendous upcoming skill.

'If I took 2 or more attacks, this monster passive skill will be activated. I won't accept that, since this monster could sick all of my HP.' 

The monster's appearance was like a golem, but the thing was its body was made by magma. It had 5ft of tall, wide physique and eyes that tell it wouldn't hesitate to eliminate an adventurer.

Yumiro swiftly made a far distance from the monster, as he was thinking how he will wield the Kariki knife.

"I just need to swing it that's it? Or I need to find a proper practice before I use this knife?" He clicked his tongue while seeing the monster was charging in the right distance, where it could throw again its basic attack.

Two consecutive explosions occurred, in the place where the red magma rocked touched. It had a rounded appearance that mainly part with the monster's body. It always released a strong radiance every time it touched on the solid thing. Or to be specific, it was the monster's magical power.

Yumiro hid behind the wide post, while awaited for the explosion to pass off.

"Tch! Now, I have a weapon to use, but how I actually use this? To kill this monster." He murmured, and breathing slowly so the monster couldn't recognise his exact location.

3 minutes was expired, then area whole area now was surrounded by a cloud of smoke, enough reason to wouldn't see each other in the meantime. However, Yumiro could tell that the monster wasn't too far away from it as it growled mildly while releasing a steaming sound out of its body.

7 more minutes had passed, then the dark smoke was already evaporated into the atmosphere. Yumiro was in the same position, didn't make any reckless action since he had no HP potion left to replenish all the damages he took.

He slowly peeked at the post edge, he saw the monster was glaring around trying to find the precise location of the adventurer. He noticed it, so there was a new plan that flashed inside his mind.

He shifted his position to the different side edge of the post, counting all the post inside the room." 1... 2... 3... 4..." There were just 4 posts also he already count the post where he hid right now, but at the same time, he has a big smile on his face when he saw he could use the statue of an elve to hide his existence.

"I need to kill the monster without being notice." Yumiro was sure in this one, he had the agility to escape from one to another after landing an attack.

[Dash]

Yumiro started switching his position, where the only thing you could hear was the mild sound of the air. The monster was facing in the opposite direction, and actually, the perfect time for him to execute his plan.

Until the last second, Yumiro glance at the red blade of the Kariki knife. He clenched it with the thought that there was no turning back at this point.

Making a move without being noticed by someone, was how the assassin did their job. But, Yumiro hasn't the kind of skill to eliminate his opponent in a single blow.  

He shook his head, as he wanted to remove all the negative thoughts that came out of his mind. "I just giving myself a hard time If keep thinking a bad scenario." He started to move and shifted his position in the next post that had 7 meters of distance.

He saw the monster's flinched since he unexpectedly kicked the tiny rock that directly went to the monster.

The monster quickly looked at where was the origin of the tiny rock, but it just saw an empty space.

The Arsula magma was way more looked that it was frustrated by finding the adventurer that used his high agility to conceal his presence.

"Haist... That's a close one, this is my first attack but I can accept if it's failed in the very beginning." He sighed of relief as the monster didn't see where his precise location.

He carefully observed the surroundings, thinking which the best side will be the good path to make sneaked attack. In his mind, thinking too much was eaten a lot of his time, so he directly went to the place where the monster blind spot and it was its back.

[Dash]

Yumiro easily reached 12 meters gap in just 1.25 seconds and when the distance was around 4 meters; he widely swung the Kariki knife to enlarge the damage that he could deal.

Slash!

He felt when the knife was penetrating, all the heat could absorb by it, but at the same time, rapid sweats were released by his body because the magic cloak he wore couldn't naturally protect him.

"Why the monster is so soft? This is just like its body or my attack is so strong?" He was amazed at what he did, to wouldn't waste his chance he launches another stab directly on the monster's back.

Rawr!

The monster groaned loudly, it seemed that the attack was really hurt him.

Swish!

After his attack, Yumiro concealed again his presence by using the elves statue. While having e heavy breathing he had a big smile on his face, but he wasn't tired at all. It because there was a strong excitement boost inside his body that pushed him to strike again the monster.

"It's exciting... I never feel this kind of feeling before... Hmm-ha! Hmm-ha." He glanced at the Kariki knife with the thoughts that he needed to use it again.

He saw the monster's health power was reduced by 180 damage even though the second attack was not punctured well.

When he felt his body was ready to move again, Yumiro shifted his position in the next post where he could see the monster's blind spot. The formation of the post was to have each post on each side just like the corner of the box shape. While the statue was just scattered all over the place, and some of them was already destroyed.

[Dash!]

Yumiro stopped the skill casting as there a new idea appeared on his mind, "What if I use the physical transmission skill here? Yeah, that's right I'll do this experiment." He said with a weak tone.

[Dash]

His speed was still the same, but his movements weren't making any flaws as he moves without any sounds. It seemed he could easily adopt anything by just continuing it.

[Physical transmission]

His left arm gleamed, while widely swung it as he plans to separate the monster's head with its head.

Swish!

The monsters turned around, but it was too late since the Kariki knife already slash its nape with an enhancement of physical transmission.

Thud!

Shh!

The monster's head was rapidly fell to the ground, however, Yumiro's HP was deducted by 10 help points as the magma touched on his skin.

Then suddenly the Arsula monster kneeled to the magma surface since he melted by its heat. Aside from that, its body was releasing radiance that caught his attention.

"It must be... The monster will release its subordinate. I'll not let you do that!"

[Physical transmission!]

He didn't notice that he put 57% of his fatigue in his follow-up attack, as he worried if the new monster will appear was beyond his expectation.

Even though Yumiro regrets destroying the monster's core still, he did it to avoid the worst-case scenario that might be happening.

Swish!

Yumiro directly aimed at the monster's chest, it laid on the ground while he has kneeled over it. He saw that his HP was deducted by 1 health point in every 10 seconds he stays in his position.

"It's still not penetrated, it doesn't matter you will leave this world."

[Physical transmission!]

"Haaa!" He yelled while hardly pushing inside the knife.

Crack!

He heard the sound of the glass broke, so he stepped back and hide beside the statue. He knew it was the monster core since he encounters many times.

Boom!

A new tremendous explosion occurred, but Yumiro won't bother as he saw his HP was increased.

10 minutes had passed, the commotion was passed also Yumiro regained some of his strength, so he pushed himself into a stood up position and sauntered closer to the tiny glowing light beside the monster's grave.
