Elijah talked a bit more with Sage before sending her to meet his mother.

Eve appeared next to him and informed:" The guardians of the galaxy are being pursued by the sovereign fleet after they stole some Annulax Batteries."

Eve showed him the ongoing chase while Elijah had a small on his face as he is not really a big fan of the sovereign due to their belief of supremacy. The only noticeable member was their high priestess Ayesha who has a similar ability to Sage and had high intelligence. A race that claims to be superior can't handle an Abilisk alone , that's a shame.

Annulax batteries were expensive of course, Elijah had hired Broker years ago to acquire some for him. Elijah studied them and recreated them and used them to power several of his created items.

Elijah watched the pursuit and paid special attention to the ship , The Milano since he and Banner made some adjustments to it after it was almost destroyed the day of the battle of Xandar. With Rocket piloting the ship and discovering its real performance, the remotely piloted Omnicraft couldn't put a dent on The Milano. The Guardians escaped through a quantum asteroid field leaving the sovereign fleet behind.

Elijah satisfied with the performance closed the view screen. He left Star-Lord to deal with his father Ego.

Elijah has already destroyed the seed planted by Ego on earth and on Xandar. It was safer that way.

The next day, Elijah and Banner arrived at Haven industries. It was product launch day.

Every time Haven industries launched a product, there will be many peoples who come to attend ranging from reporters, businessmen and more.

Today it was a special product. Elijah is launching Virtual reality helmet.

It was a project that Elijah finished years ago. He didn't launch it at that time as the atmosphere was not suitable so he kept it for now. The helmet was similar to the one in Sword Art Online. With the helmet also came a virtual ecosystem where one could play VRMMORPG, online shopping, communication with others, learning.

Elijah and Banner entered the CEO office.

Elijah saw his mother instructing Sage on some managerial matters and said:" Mother, be sure not to overwhelm her."

Linda:" Oh dear, she's a diamond. Now she's my daughter. She should be perfect."

Elijah:" Who will be doing the project launch?"

Linda:" I don't know. It's usually either me or Jean."

Elijah thought for a while before he said:" Bruce how about you do it?"

Bruce confused :" Are you sure ? Won't me being in the public creates a storm? I disappeared for 2 years since the Battle of New york and it's good."

Linda :" Dear Bruce, you can't live all your life in hiding."

Elijah:" It is a good idea for you to present it."

Bruce shrugged :" Ok why not."

Elijah turned to look at Sage then his mother and asked:" How was her first day?"

Linda:" You weren't kidding about her ability to learn. It reminded me when you first gave me NZT. I wanted to learn everything."

Bruce:" That NZT is some serious drug."

Bruce couldn't help but exclaim. Elijah has given him his stash of NZT. Bruce used it daily and it was pure bliss. The Hyper-state it gives was beneficial to learning new things and increasing brain working power.

Elijah :" I know . How long do you think she would be able to take over for you mother?"

Linda :" If she kept this pace , a month or two. She needs more social interactions."

Elijah nodded and then looked at the time:" Bruce , go get dressed in something professional. Sage , shadow him , you will announce him on stage."

Bruce left the office and Sage followed him.

In Haven Park, there was a big Theatre where Haven industries always present their products.

At the moment, several reporters with their cameras could be seen walking around looking for their seats. Several well dressed gentlemen and ladies were also present and reclaiming their seats.

Elijah and his mother were sitting inside the private room overlooking the Stage. Elijah known for his privacy doesn't like to mingle with crowds.

After few moments everyone settled down. Sage arrived to the podium with an elegant walk.

She approached the mic and said:" Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Haven Industries. We thank you for being present today. It's in our custom here in Haven industries to always ensure the originality and quality of our technological inventions. Continuing this custom, we will be presenting today a product which will be a revolution in the tech field. To talk to you about this product, I present to you , The Vice chief engineer of Haven industries, Dr.Bruce Banner."

The name attracted the attention of almost everyone. It was known that Bruce Banner was the hulk, One of the avengers that battled the aliens in New York two years earlier.

Bruce arrived on stage under the applause of the audience. The sound cameras taking pictures didn't stop . It was a hot story. The hulk works at Haven Industries.

Bruce ignored everyone and began speaking for a while before announcing:" Without further ado , I present to you the first VR-Helmet . The M-GEAR I."

Under the shock and awe of the audience, Bruce presented the helmet and its functions. He didn't forget to mention all the safety measures implemented in the helmet.

The presentation ended with reporters asking questions about the product while other stupid enough asked questions about the hulk which Bruce completely ignored.

Elijah didn't regret handing over Bruce the task of the products presentation.

He was very professional and his identity as an avenger will certainly add more publicity.

Elijah observed everything and thought about how this was the first step in achieving peace on earth. Elijah didn't dare to give more technology to the world as it is now. Division and discrimination between races and religions. Wars left and right. Heads of states look at technology only in weapons to be used on each other.

Elijah wanted to mould the future generations on concepts of peace using the VR tech where everyone can meet and ignore the superficial aspects of Life. As well including several hidden message toward peace and mutual survival to recognise humanity as one.

Elijah's arsenal of tech was frightening. He has acquired knowledge from everywhere and with his intelligence , the level of development on earth could be higher. But if certain things were given now, earth would be destroyed by humans and not alien forces or other threats.
