Arriving at the research facility, Susan presented the members of the team.

Susan :" This is Dr.Reed Richard the head of the project."

Eliana:" Nice to see you again Dr.Richards. "

Reed felt shivers run down his spine seeing the smile on Eliana's face. He always thought she was scary. He had no idea how right he was.

Reed:" Ah Miss Eliana Welcome."

Eliana:" Mr. Müller and Dr.Banner would like to see the development of the project. Please inform us."

Reed nodded and began presenting the progress on his quantum teleporter.

Reed shows the quantum gate he's working on :" This gate would be able to transport individuals to other planets where cosmic energy is abundant.It will be possible for us to study cosmic energy and its effect on the universe. "

Banner looked over the designs and calculations:" When will it be available to use?"

Reed:" The project is almost over. We can begin the testing phase."

Banner:" Bring a chimpanzee and send it to the other side. We want to see the test."

Reed and the others were surprised for the immediate ok and went to bring a chimpanzee from Sue's lab.

The chimpanzee was then equipped with special suit and a probing camera and energy scanners to film what's on the other side.

They put it inside a pod and soon the machine was activated under the watching gaze of all people present.

A light enveloped the chimpanzee and disappeared.

Reed:" Try to bring out the feeds and energy readings."

Victor began typing and soon the feed came up on the screen showing where the chimpanzee landed.

Elijah and company observed the screen and saw the planet which has different atmosphere as well the presence of different sources of energy. The planet looked deserted.

Reed:" This is marvellous. It's a success. Could you please show me the energy readings?"

Victor:" wait as second."

Victor brought the energy readings on the screen.

Reed thought for a while and began his calculations. After a while he said:"There will be a cosmic storm in 3 days. This is amazing we can study it."

After experimenting for a while, the chimpanzee was brought back signifying the success of the return mechanism.

The quintet celebrated while the Haven committee looked unimpressed.

The quintet began to discuss how to plan the trip in three days to study the storm.

Michael (NASA guy):" You can't go. This has become a national security issue. We will send trained astronauts under the supervision of the government."

Reed:" You can't do that . This is our project."

Johnny:" Fuck man are you serious?"

An argument broke out while Elijah and the others didn't care until Elijah coughed three times and everybody went quiet.

Michael:" Mr.Müller this project will be taken over by the government. I don't think you want to antagonise us."

Elijah looked at Eliana and said:" get rid of the annoyance."

In front of everyone Eliana disappeared and a bone cracking sound was heard. The next thing everyone saw was Michael dropping to the ground with a broken neck.

Everyone went pale faced and scared seeing a man dead in a matter of seconds.

Elijah stood up and said:" Now that we have got rid of the annoyance. Let's return to the issue at hand."

Banner joined him and said to the still scared quintet :" Your machine works pretty well but it need more adjustments. Work on it."

Elijah looked at them and erased the scene they saw of the NASA guy getting killed from their memories while destroying the body.

Elijah said while leaving:" work on it. If you finish the last adjustment we can discuss the trip to the other side"

Elijah left the building with the others.

Eliana:" If they try to go to the other side in secret . What do we do?"

Elijah:" Let them."

Eliana nodded in understanding.

Inside the Baxter building, Reed and his research fellows began to talk about what to do now. They didn't notice that a scene was erased from their memories and forgot completely about the existence of the NASA guy.

Reed:" So do you think they will let us to take part in the trip?"

Victor " I don't know. Probably not. "

Johnny:" How about we finish the project and take the trip ourselves. We have everything here."

Susan:" No it's too dangerous."

Reed and Victor were both tempted to take part in this adventure.

Reed:" It's our work. We might as well try it."

Reed continued to try and convince Susan and the others to take part in this trip not noticing that they were always monitored by an almost omnipotent A.I by the name of EVE.

1 day later, Reed and the others got ready to explore the Planet they named "Planet Zero" before the upcoming cosmic storm.

Everyone of them got in the pods designated for them.

Victor activated the machine before he joined his pod.

Reed:" Ready guys?"

Ben:"Are you sure this gonna work out well?"

Reed:" According to my calculations, yes."

The machine activated and a light enveloped them .

They reappeared on the other side.

Johnny:" Shit this is amazing. I can't believe we're out of earth now."

Reed got busy trying to scan the area and collecting data. Susan and Victor did the same.

Ben and Johnny explore the surrounding area hoping to find something interesting.

Reed:" This is simply groundbreaking, the level of ambient cosmic energy here is astonishing."

Victor approached a small pod of green liquid:" Look at this fluid guys."

Reed looked where Victor was looking and said :" we need to take some samples from everything in here."

A sound interrupted their work and Johnny said:" Guys , are you seeing this?"

Everyone looked where Johnny is looking. They saw an storm heading their way. It looked more than a wind storm.

Victor:" Didn't you say that the storm will happen in 3 days."

Reed flustered :" I might have been wrong in my calculations."

Johnny:" No Shit."

Susan hurried and said :" Let's go back to the pods."

They all took what they brought with them and ran toward the pods.

Victor touched the green liquid when he was taking his equipment in a hurry and suddenly the ground erupted causing small earthquakes to destabilise the team.

The storm was coming their way at high speed.

They returned to escape but suddenly Victor lost balance and fell into the collapsing landscape.

Reed screamed :"Victor."

Johnny :" Shit! This was a bad idea. "

Ben:" come on Reed, he's dead be quick."

Sue activated the pods to return . Just as everybody was in their pods, they returned to earth but not before being hit with the full blast of the storm and losing consciousness in the process.
