Ben stood there on the rocky plains and didn't know what to do.

Ben :' How am i supposed to find connection to the earth. This is like those Kung Fu master in the movies.

Argh this is annoying. Let's try clearing my mind to see if there is anything.'

Ben sat on the ground as comfortably as he could as a rocky man. He closed his eyes and began thinking about everything that happened. He was getting a bit of rage but soon calmed down.

Ben:' Shit. He told me to clear my mind not to get angrier. I need to calm down.'

Ben calmed down and breathed in an out. He soon felt peace running through his mind.

Elijah from the back overlooking Ben, was helping him achieve a sense of peace using telepathy.

Elijah:' Good. Let's see how strong is his connection to the earth. If Johnny Storm could reach the temperature of the sun. Ben's affinity shouldn't be worse.'

Elijah kept sending indirect instructions to Ben's mind to help him achieve and discover a connection to the earth element.

Ben concentrated on the rocks and dirt around him.

2 hour has passed and Ben was still with his eyes closed. He could a sense of familiarity with the rocks around him. The land shook for a bit.

Elijah could feel cosmic energy at play.

Ben was feeling a sense of security given to him by the earth around him. He felt less angry and less frustrated and more importantly calm.

Ben was awaken from his meditation by Elijah.

Elijah:" How was it?"

Ben with a serene face:" It felt good calming down. I could feel the earth around me. It was a bit magical. It's just that it doesn't solve my problem."

Elijah looked at him and said apathetically:" Of course it doesn't.

Now come the hard part. Sit down crossed-legged with you back straight."

Ben did as told and sat down. He waited for more instructions.

Elijah:" Close your eyes and empty your mind. Only my voice could reach you."

Ben closed his eyes and like earlier focused on clearing his mind.

Elijah's voice continued to ring in his ears.

Elijah:" Now i'm gonna send you inside your mind."

Ben didn't know how or why but suddenly, he felt thrown into the void.

A voice interrupted his thoughts:" Focus on finding your human body."

Ben walked and walked around until he found his human body. It was shackled to a wall. The eyes looked dull and unresponsive.

He walked forward and started tearing the steel shackles. They were hard . He started using his full strength to grind through them.

When the last chain was destroyed, the body flew and stuck to him and disappeared.

Ben :' Now what?'

The scene suddenly changed and Ben opened his eyes and breathed heavily. He was back to the rocky plains. Elijah was in front of him observing him.

Ben :" What was that? "

Elijah:" It takes a toll on you to enter your mind."

Ben:" That was my mind?!"

Elijah :" Think about transforming back to human. Focus and think. Be careful it will be painful."

Ben said in determination:" I don't mind pain."

Ben then focused and began to think about regaining his human body.

Suddenly , he felt searing pain. The sound of rocks grinding was also heard.

Ben screamed :"ARRGHH "

Slowly , he shrunk back to human size. The rocky skin surface disappeared. Ben transformed to human. He was breathing heavily. The pain while leas than the one he felt during the first transformation, was not negligible.

Ben:" That was painful."

Elijah :" switch back and forth for a couple of times. The pain will be less."

Ben rested for a while before he changed back and forth between the Thing and human Ben for a couple of times. The pain he felt was negligible.

Elijah:" Let's go . I need to send yo back. I'm a busy man."

Ben turned around and asked:" Why did you help me?"

Elijah :" It doesn't matter why. Let's go "

Elijah opened a small portal and took a shirt and pant and handed them to Ben.

Ben noticed that he was nȧkėd and dressed hurriedly.

Elijah then opened a portal and said:" What happened here today stays secret . I helped you but you cannot tell how . Understood?"

Ben nodded. Elijah was a secretive and powerful man. Getting his help was a miracle.

Elijah:" This portal will send you to the Baxter Building. Good Luck."

Ben :" Thank you . Mr. Müller."

He then walked through the portal.

Elijah meanwhile disappeared in a burst of flames.

Van Doom's mansion.

Victor was anxious. The scar on his face which he had since childhood began widening. His hair is almost lost. He was changing. His power which he discovered recently allowed him telekinesis and electrokinesis.

He was happy with the power but he was starting to deform.

Victor walked to the basement and searched for something. He took some boxes and opened them. They were his mother's book. They were about magic. His mother was a witch before losing her soul to Mephisto.

He skimmed through the books looking for something to help him as a last resort.

He kept reading all the books but found nothing. He threw all the books away and sat down on the ground in frustration.

Suddenly an iron mask took his attention. It was a black with a hint of silver. It fell from one of his mother's boxes. He took the mask and inspected it.

Victor:" This mask is weird almost magical."

Victor took the mask and put it on his face.

The mask devoured his face and spread to his body. Arcs of electricity were zapping out of his body.

He was screaming constantly until he lost consciousness.

A few hours later, he woke up groggily. He felt different. He looked at his hands and found them metal black. His body was covered in a sort of black armour that merged with his skin. He touched his face. It also changed.

He looked in the mirror and saw his reflection. He was like a metal cyborg.

He remembered that Reed was responsible for all of this.

Victor looked like a madman. He wanted revenge.

Victor:" Reed. I'm going to kill you."
