Maya feels a sharp pain in her neck and gasps in disbelief "What truth?!"

Even though she tried to scream, only a scared gasp escaped from her mouth. She tries hard to release herself from his grip but she whimpers in vain.

"Tell me how are you alive yet!".

Hearing Kalki's words Maya stops struggling and stands shocked.

'Why did I do this to myself?! What have I done to my peaceful life?!'

She felt her tears escaping her eyes in both anger and fear.

Kalki presses the edge of the knife further against her neck to scare her and hisses "You could have fooled everyone. Do you think you could fool this Lordship?! Tell me or you won't be alive-".

Before Kalki could finish his line, he suddenly pushing her away from him and turns grabbing his sword.

Maya falls down kneeling on the ground and sees Kalki already searching around the Court.

Maya gets her wits back and runs away from him utilizing the chance. She hides behind a pillar and searches for the doorway.

Kalki growls looking for someone around the Court like an animal searching for his prey.

Maya finds the doorway and runs towards it as her life depends on it now.

"Where are you hiding?! Come before me at once!!"

Maya hears him grunting while running out of the Court room.

She comes out and sees no one outside except the two servants. Seeing her state both remains still as if nothing would affect them.

She looks around and holds her forehead by her shivering hands 'I have to leave now! It's fortunate that someone entered there and he left me to chase them! What would have happened, if no one came?'

Maya initially thought to inform about someone's entry in the court but she humps 'Let him die! I wish whomever he is searching now would be the cause of his death!'.

"So be it!"

She trips seeing a sudden mist appeared before her out of nowhere and balances herself holding a wall.

Maya rubs her eyes to see through the darkness but gets stunned seeing herself in an endless darkness.

She wanders aimlessly and gasps "What's happening?! Why is this sudden darkness around me?!".

"Let's talk here".

Maya stops hearing the voice and speaks "Who are you?! And...how are you doing this?!".

CHUCKLES

"I wish you too answer the same question, Little Girl!".

Maya felt like a blind without seeing by her eyes and screams in anger "Stop surrounding me with this darkness!".

LAUGH!

"Are scared of darkness, Little Girl?!".

Maya breaths heavily hearing his mocking tone and clutches her fist in rage. She closes her eyes and hisses murderously "Stop.it.at.once!!".

LAUGH-

Maya opens her glowing eyes and smirks looking before her "I see you!".

"..."

She glares at a girl who is elevating in mid-air, in rage "You have committed a mistake, Mist...girl!".

"How did you retrieve your powers?!"

Maya warns seeing her astonished face "You made me really angry. Now get down in front of me or I will make you!".

The girl who was still in shock, manages to let out a laugh and points at her suspiciously "Y-you...you can't. You are an Incomplete Soul! You can't be powerful enough to fight me!".

Maya forwards her glowing hands and holds her head high solemnly.

In next moment, the girl was dragged down mercilessly to the ground by an invisible force.

THUD!

The girl looks at Maya in complete horror. The yellow flames escaping Maya's eyes and hands almost looked as if she is burning in the fire.

Maya steps forward towards the girl and stops right before her face. Seeing her shocked as if she has seen a ghost, Maya asks "What is an Incomplete Soul?".

The girl "...." Shouldn't she ask how am I not a man first?! Stupid..yet powerful woman!.

Maya is breaking inside by the sudden shocking events.

'First the Angry Prince! Then the Arrogant Prince! And what is it?! It's a Mist-girl! Not a Mist-man?!'

You all might think that Maya would think as mentioned above. Then you are terribly wrong!

Maya clutches the girls shoulder with murder intent and wonders "What is an Incomplete Soul?!".

'I have been searching for a single clue about my condition throughout my life! How can I loose this rare chance! Finally I have found someone who could answer my every questions!'.

The girl smiles helplessly "Can't you ask me gently?".

Maya stares her without change in her stern expression "You lost your chance long ago".

The girl "..."

The girl gulps and speaks "I am Bhommi-".

Maya frowns coldly "That's not the answer which I want!".

The girl pouts displeased "I shouldn't have thought to help you! Bhommi is my name".

Maya just looks at her with same expression irrespective of Bhommi's irked tone.

Bhommi rolls her eyes muttering 'My bad!' and declares "An Incomplete Soul is a single soul split into two. Then it adapts in any body that it wishes".

Maya opens her eyes in shock and gasps "Incomplete Soul?!".

Maya was dazed after hearing Bhommi as this fact turned the table completely. She has been living thinking that she was Cursed since her childhood. Even though the new reason felt surreal, Maya is relieved as less harsh word than a 'Cursed soul!'.

She leaves Bhommi's shoulder and the glow in her eyes and hands disappears gradually.

She whispers emotionally "Was I not Cursed then?!".

Bhommi rebukes sighing "Who told that? You are a Cursed Soul!".

Maya ".."

Bhommi scoffs looking Maya "A Divine soul becomes incomplete when it is Cursed. It would split into number of forms for some specific purposes. Have you heard about hiding one's soul in some isolated place so that they could avoid their death?! But when a Divine soul is cursed, it takes two opposite forms or two opposite energies for a reason".

Maya now nods in a daze and stares at the girl as if she is truely her Master.
