"Please, Happy, you have to help me."

Yang Le looked helplessly at Peter, who was clasping his hands together, constantly begging him.

"Peter, no matter how I want to help you, I can’t if you don't speak up."

Yang Le and Peter were buying lunch at a burger shop outside the school, while Gwen and Mary Jane were in the school auditorium.

Let’s rewind to this morning.

Gwen's skills easily won the approval of Mary Jane and the others. They finally agreed to Gwen's joining and told her about their plan to perform at the next homecoming.

Gwen was overjoyed. Just as the girls were chattering about what song to choose, Yang Le interrupted their discussion.

"So, what's your band's name?"

This question was much more important than the choice of song. Imagine the host announcing before the performance:

"Let's welcome the No Name Band!" Wow, that would be ridiculous.

The girls started discussing.

"How about Midtown Band?" bassist Betty Brant suggested. "We're all students from Midtown High anyway."

"That's too generic, Betty," keyboardist Glory Grant said, holding her forehead with one hand. "There have been at least ten Midtown Bands in Midtown High."

"That's right, and as far as I know, the other band competing with us for the prom performance is called Midtown Band," guitarist and lead singer Mary Jane tapped the guitar hanging on her body with her fingers.

"They obviously took that name to suck up to the principal," Gwen said, twirling her drumsticks.

Suddenly, Gwen stood up, held the drumsticks to her mouth like a microphone, and said, "Next, let's welcome the Midtown Band from Midtown High to perform."

"Ugh! No offense, but that's not rock and roll at all," Betty stuck out her tongue and said disdainfully.

"So, what should our band be called?" Glory grabbed her hair in distress. "This is harder than taking an exam."

The girls racked their brains, but Yang Le, who raised the question, slipped away at this time.

"Lunchtime! Anyone want a delicious burger?" Yang Le's proposal was quickly answered.

"You're the best, Happy!" Gwen cheered, raising her hand. "I want a cheese set meal from BEEF MAN."

"BEEF MAN? Gwen, that store is a block away," Yang Le said, his forehead covered with black lines. He originally wanted to settle for Burger King outside the school gate.

"Please, Happy," Gwen looked at Yang Le with her watery eyes.

"Okay, okay," Yang Le surrendered. "What about the others? Let's make it clear, you can only order from BEEF MAN."

Mary Jane and the others smiled at each other, seeing Gwen and Yang Le's interaction.

"We just want the regular set meal," Mary Jane smiled ambiguously, making Yang Le feel strange.

Yang Le didn't care. He grabbed Peter, who was acting like a statue, as a coolie and left together.

As soon as Yang Le left, Mary Jane and the others surrounded Gwen.

"Gwen, what's your relationship with that Happy?" Betty looked at Gwen with a gossipy face.

"What relationship?" Gwen was confused. "Happy is my friend?"

"Come on! Don't pretend, Gwen," Mary Jane's disbelief was written all over her face. "I noticed it yesterday. He's so obedient to you, okay?"

After being said so by Mary Jane, Gwen thought about it carefully and found that Yang Le seemed to have never refused her request.

'Could it be?' Gwen also became a little unconfident, but she didn't show it and pretended to say indifferently.

"It's really just a friendship. It's just because Happy is a good person. You'll know when you get along with him for a while," Gwen waved her hand. "More importantly, our band's name hasn't been decided yet."

Faced with Gwen's stiff topic change, Mary Jane and the others didn't pursue it. Indeed, it was more important to decide the band's name first.

Back to the present, Yang Le and Peter were carrying everyone's lunch in packages. Yang Le was also thinking about how to help Peter pursue Mary Jane, because he had been shipping Peter and Mary Jane since he was a child because of the influence of the 94th edition of Spider-Man.

Just as Yang Le was racking his brains, a flyer was handed to him.

"Welcome to the New York Expo," a person wearing a mascot costume handed over a colorful flyer, and after Yang Le took the flyer, he turned around and continued distributing the flyers.

Yang Le looked down and read it, and Peter next to him also poked his head over to look.

"Oh, it's a technology expo organized by New York City. Many technology companies will participate, and even Osborne Industries and Stark Industries will come!" Peter stared at the flyer excitedly, as if he wanted to see through it.

"If you could face Mary Jane like this, that would be great," Yang Le glanced at Peter.

"That's right!" Yang Le had a flash of inspiration. "Peter, how about you ask Mary Jane out?"

"Ah? Happy, you're crazy!" Peter exclaimed, causing pedestrians to turn their heads frequently.

"Technology Expo, what a perfect date location, it's perfect for a nerd like you. The real things you're interested in will give you courage," Yang Le didn't care about Peter's questioning and waved the flyer in his hand.

"You want Mary Jane to see your shining points, isn't this perfect?"

"But how do I ask her out? I don't dare to go alone," Peter said dejectedly.

"Our Mr. Pi is very bold. He actually wants to ask a girl he's only met twice out on a date," Yang Le teased.

"Going out alone is definitely not okay. Mary Jane won't agree to this request, but group activities are different. You can suggest that everyone go together," Yang Le folded the flyer and put it in his pocket.

"That's right!" Peter's eyes lit up after hearing Yang Le's words. "You're a genius, Happy! But will they be interested?"

"Then you have to ask Gwen to help. Let's get the big sister to let you know," Yang Le felt thirsty after talking for a long time, took out a cup of Coke from the bag and took a sip. "And Mary Jane probably won't decline the first group activity of the band."

"So you want me to help Peter woo Mary Jane?"

After returning, Yang Le pulled Gwen aside while distributing food and told her about Peter's plan.

"Help Little Peter. It's not easy for the child to pluck up the courage to chase a girl," Yang Le handed the burger and drink to Gwen and whispered in her ear.

"Okay, okay, you don't have to get so close, I can hear you," Gwen reached out and pushed Yang Le away and pretended to tidy her hair, covering her slightly hot ears.

'It's all Betty and the others' fault!' Gwen felt that the conversation just now must have affected her. She now felt that the atmosphere between her and Yang Le was strange.

"Let's make it clear first, I will try my best to fight for it, but I can't guarantee whether Mary Jane and the others will agree."

Gwen looked at Peter, who was playing the role of the food distribution uncle not far away, and suddenly felt that the child had grown up.

"Can he really do it?" Gwen looked worriedly at Peter, who was blushing even when handing Mary Jane a burger.

"Oh, we don't have to worry about that," Yang Le shrugged. "Maybe they've already registered with Cupid?"
