The Curse Of The Evil Queen

Chapter 154 - AUNT?

"Darling Celestina, I know you need rest. It's either you stay here in the mansion or I'll let my driver drive you back into your Mansion.

"I'm really okay Senyora, I have Hudson on my side. He can drive for me," I smiled, eyeing the whole insides of the mansion.

"Or you can stay here I told you, it's already too late,"

"It's really okay Senyora, and I know you are already tired in handling the party. I don't want to bother you anymore,"

She then smiled at me and eventually agreed with what I'm saying. I took a deep breath, leaning my head against the car's window. It took me a couple of minutes just for Senyora to agree with my words.

"Are you really okay staying in your mansion alone? You know that I can be with you,"

I shake my head, and closed my eyes, "It's alright, and I know you really are busy. I don't want to cause any troubles," Tiredly, I yawned and hugged myself.

The dress that I'm wearing didn't help how cold the temperature is inside the car. I was surprised when a soft touch of fabric touched my shoulders.

"Sleep, I'll wake you up when we're in your mansion already."

I nodded and slightly smiled. "Thank you," I mouthed.

He chuckled and nodded, mouthing "anything for you,". And that was the last scene that I saw as darkness completely ate me. Falling down in the depths of comfort.

"You try and you'll die," Lianno threatened.

"Both of the women looked shocked, hearing a man's voice at their back. Celestina's eyes widened, seeing Lianno.

She was glad and happy to see his husband alive and being a badass. "You know, I did pity you in the past, but now all I can feel is hatred. You are nothing compared to my wife.

Isabela kneeled in front of them. Begging while tears were streaming down in her face.

"Shut up! Your begging is useless! I rather hear my wife singing than hearing your horrible voice." Lianno looked at the girl in disgust.

"You have a pretty face, but you, yourself was ugly."

And it was Celestina's turn to hear their screams.

"You want to watch a beautiful scene, slut?" Lianno smirked evilly.

He took the knife that Isabela had used earlier to stab her wife. He hit it directly at Adam's heart. The man gasped, but later on, died. Isabela was shocked to see this.

The woman cried and shouted at Lianno.

"Dad!" Isabela shouted.

Lianno went into Celestina's direction untying the ropes that were wrapped around his wife's delicate hands. "Shh… I am here, you are safe now."

Celestina was about to say the word "I love you," to her husband when she saw Isabela crying and laughing at them while holding a gun. And what happened was slow-motion for Celestina.

*Bang *Bang

My words got interrupted by two loud bangs. No! I shouted, running just to get to the Lianno's direction quickly.

I covered my mouth when I saw my life, my love Lianno, lying down on the ground, bathe in his own blood. Isabela glazing upon me, help is shouting in her closing eyes.

My eyes watered as I stare at her in disbelief. H-How can she do such things? My hand shaking in fear as I go closer at Lianno, unable to utter some words.

I was about to hug Lianno's bloody body when I heard 2 gunfire again. My back arched as I felt a pang of pain on my back slowly making my whole body numb.

"NOOO!!" I shouted loudly, releasing my last remaining strength. Falling down on the cold ground, beside Lianno as I heard the beads from my necklace falling down on the ground as well.

~

My eyes widened as I opened it completely, sitting up on my bed while my heart is beating loudly and fast. I wiped out the cold sweats that formed earlier, putting my right hand on my chest, calming myself.

It's just a dream, It's just a dream, I said to myself for how many times now. Repeating its words continuously. My hand slightly shakes as I'm slowly losing my breath.

It's just a dream, I reminded myself one last time, getting up and walking towards the circular table where a jar and a glass of water is located at. I took a gulp down, consuming 2 glasses of water as my throat felt dry. That dream felt like reality. I-It's too much to take in.

I looked through the mirror, seeing my reflection. Leaning toward the headboard of my bed. I took a deep breath. It's the same dream that keeps repeating to me every night. I've kept it to Hudson because I know that he will be worried about me. I closed and my eyes and hugged my body all night.

=====

I like the beach. I didn't know that I needed this vacation. I roamed my eyes, the vacation is my chance to unwind and relax by myself. Besides, it's not like my friends are also in their house. Danica is working and Hudson already left early in the morning.

I remember, my longest vacation was last year in Switzerland. This year I was planning to go to the U.S to visit some of my friends but with my decision, I'm here in the Philippines.

There's something about the housekeepers here too, they are warmer. Compared to the ones I have in New York in the past.

I don't have any siblings. It's one of my insecurity. I wanted someone to lean on at times when I have, but I have none. Because of that, I tried so hard to gain more friends to fill that void. But I was never given another sibling… I was all alone.

I sighed he is the best artist I have ever known. He knows how to color things like how it is supposed to be. That the sky and the sea should be blue. That the leaves should be green. The sun should be yellow and that the clouds should be white.

That one color assigned perfectly on thins. And you don't question it because in your heart you know those things were colored perfectly. Not just because it's that way, but because it feels that day.

I roamed my eyes around the garden. On each end, it was dotted with colorful flowers and trees.  On the other side was the crystal clear seas that were unending.  I thought that I will hate it here but now I realized, I am wrong.

Colors… I have always been fascinated with them. And in those months, he knows how a color feels, and some things are colored differently in different places.

Our mansion is beside a wonderful long stretch of beach. The sand was pure white. I smiled when I saw it shine from the sun's rays.

I stood up and starts to walk inside the mansion room when I felt the hotness of the sun piercing through my skin. The Spanish-inspired mansion is standing proudly with its majestic arched windows and properly colored walls.

I took a glance over the huge words. Old hardwood chairs, and floors decorated with a swoosh and laced filled me. It was like looking way back the medieval times or at least the 1800s.

I slowly and deeply admired the paintings up above, like how the heavens opened up but not to welcome, but to condemn. A large chandelier hung just on the center of the whole large living room.

In front of it was an extravagant stair, with red carpets on, banisters in lazy curls. Some furniture is old, while some are new-looking and more intricate.

"You're just on time hija!" It was an old woman's voice that greeted me.

An old lady came to kiss me. I awkwardly smiled back. Even though she was smiling, I was feeling in doubt. She looks unpleased in my eyes. Maybe because of her eyebrows and eyes. Her pointed nose and curvy lips told me that she was once a gorgeous lady when she was my age. She's still more elegant and beautiful than anyone her age.

"How are you hija! Do you still know me?!"

"Of course, Auntie Ray." I smiled and nodded, hugging her back.

"What about the other things, were you informed?"

I don't know how to react. I don't know what to do actually. I only know two things. She's my Mother's sister. The second is that she's staying in the mansion too as well. She's single, she doesn't have any partner in life and kids too.

She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Your Mim is cruel! She should have come in here with you! Oh, by the way, when did you get back here in the Philippines?"

"Last week, Auntie," I smiled as we walked towards the huge sofa in the living room.

I am wearing a white floral dress partnering it with strappy sandals. My hair is down.. I tried to hide my fast-beating heart by.
