The Demon's Angelic Love

Trissa Fletcher was Tallie Fletcher's only daughter. Tallie had been married to her husband for so many years, but they only had Trissa as the only child in their house.

Thus, the lady was overprotective of her child. That was the reason the lady asked for a serious commitment from Michy.

Trissa's age was the same as Michy's, and based on their birth certificate, Michy was only older than the girl by two weeks.

It seemed like Trissa could be a perfect partner for Michy. The girl was well-mannered and looked decent, the total opposite of Michy who looked like a brat.

Azren hated it, but he had to admit that Michy would look good with the young girl.

"You are still young, but you are so confident to talk about marriage, huh?" Tallie questioned the youth after hearing the boy talking about how he wanted Trissa to be his wife in the future.

Tallie gave the idol a stern look, but the idol didn't look afraid as he replied, "A good relationship will come to the point when we get married. It doesn't have anything to do with my age, Mrs. Fletcher."

Michy looked like an actor with a well-prepared script, and he could answer the lady's question smoothly.

However, the lady didn't look satisfied as she continued asking, "Do you even have a feeling for my daughter? Do you love her, Michy?"

It came to the sensitive question, and this time, Michy carefully answered the question, "I won't lie to you, Mrs. Fletcher. Right now, I don't have any feeling for your daughter."

Tallie displayed a displeased expression, but then Michy added, "But I'm willing to give it a try. I'm willing to try to love your daughter."

The honest answer from the idol was still not enough for Tallie as she asked again, "What if you meet someone else in the future who manages to win your heart? Will you leave Trissa if that happens?"

Tallie continued to question the young idol. She was a mother, and it was normal if she wanted the best for her daughter. Even if she said that she wanted Michy as her son-in-law before, it looked like that was only a joke.

The lady was so selective when she looked for a partner for her daughter, and even Michy needed to pass the test because he could get her support.

Meanwhile, Trissa didn't say anything and just fixated her gaze on her lap. She was indeed a shy girl who probably wouldn't talk much.

Michy said that he had met the girl once, but it was obvious that the two youths didn't familiar with each other. Obviously, both of them were not childhood sweethearts like in the drama.

Azren wondered, 'Why didn't they ask for Trissa's opinion as well? Tallie only questioned Michy but didn't ask anything to her daughter? Or her daughter has agreed about the arrangement all along?'

The blonde demon couldn't understand humans' way of thinking, and he could only keep quiet in his spot.

The things related to Trissa Fletcher were the idol's sudden idea, but maybe Tallie had informed her daughter before they met in the restaurant today.

When he glanced at Elias, he could see that the other man was relaxed as usual.

The relaxed expression made him frown. 'I thought Michy had a special relationship with that man, but that man looks so relaxed now. Doesn't he feel uncomfortable seeing Michy is about to date someone else? Doesn't he love Michy?'

Azren had that strange thought in his head. He didn't even know the real relationship between Michy and Elias, but he dared to assume that the relationship between them was the romantic one.

He could say that because Michy looked so affected by the man's appearance. And Michy even dreamed about the man, so the man must be special for Michy, right?

Azren didn't understand, but he was sure that everything would be more complicated from now on.

'But, why does Elias show expression as if he is enjoying the show before his eyes?'

Azren still remembered how Elias reacted when he just informed the golden-eyed man about Michy's plan today.

["What? Michy is going to meet his future girlfriend today?" Elias asked the question to Azren with a look of surprise on his face.

The look was interesting in Azren's eyes, and he replied, "Yeah. Michy is going to date a girl. I was against his idea before, but now I'm curious about your opinion, Elias. Will you support Michy's plan?"

Azren decided to test Elias. He wanted to know the relationship between Michy and Elias in the past. Thus, he decided to ask that question.

"Oh? You were against Michy's idea before? But why?" Elias asked back instead of answering. "I think his idea to date a girl is not bad. Michy is no longer a child, and he can date anyone he likes, right?"]

That kind of answer was unexpected from Elias. He thought Elias returned to Michy because he wanted to get back together to the idol.

After hearing the idol, Azren had no clue about Elias' motive anymore.

The complex issue related to Michy had already troubled him, but now there was also Elias that seemed mysterious as well. Azren had a feeling that Elias had a hidden motive all along.

He started to think that it was such a bad decision for bringing Elias to Michy's house. Elias probably would be a threat instead of a treat.

"Do you think I will meet someone that I will love and will love me back, Mrs. Fletcher?" Michy finally voiced out a question after he was being quiet for a moment. Instead of answering the lady's question, he chose to question the lady, and it made the lady frown.

"Why are you so pessimistic, Michy?" Tallie questioned the idol again. "You are still young, and you still have a long way to go. If you love someone, then you should be with that someone. You don't need to force yourself to be with someone you don't love."

Tallie once again sounded so stern, and Michy's face looked tenser now. Azren didn't know what was on the idol's mind right now. He was still young, but he sounded so pessimistic about love.

'Wait. Is it possible that Michy doesn't believe in love?' The demon suddenly got an idea in his head.

If the idol indeed didn't believe in love, then it would be good for him. Demons hated love, and the humans who would follow the demons' way shouldn't believe in love either.

"Listen to me, Michy," Tallie spoke again because Michy didn't respond to her words earlier. "Maybe you're still confused about love, but my daughter loves you sincerely. If you want to date her, then you have to promise that you will try to love her and never hurt her."

Another statement from Tallie, and Azren glimpsed at the long-haired girl. Now the girl's face was painted with rosy color. He knew that the girl was embarrassed right now because her mother just revealed her feelings towards the idol.

Azren secretly snickered at the girl, 'Michy doesn't believe in love, so you'd better back down before you get hurt, girl. Michy will never fall in love with you.'

For some reason, Azren felt he just won a battle against the young girl.

"I will try to love Trissa, Mrs. Fletcher," Michy suddenly spoke again, and it felt like the words dashed Azren's hope.

The demon widened his eyes in surprise. He just felt that he won against the girl, but Michy's words disturbed his victory.

'Michy really will try to love the girl?' The demon lamented.

Azren was sure that he would be able to bring Michy to Hell if the idol wouldn't believe in love, but now when the idol said that he would try to love the girl, his hope was getting thinner.

"Trissa is a nice girl, and I believe that she will be able to accompany me for the rest of my life," Michy's voice could be heard again.

The silver-haired idol suddenly sounded so cheesy, and Azren got goosebumps. The idol, who usually could only know how to speak rubbish, suddenly sounded so sweet when he was trying to win over Tallie's heart.

Now Azren started to worry. Would Michy love Trissa for real?

That wouldn't be good! Lucifer hated love the most, and if Michy indeed fell in love with the girl, then it wouldn't be good for his mission. If he wanted to bring Michy to Hell, then there shouldn't be love in the idol's heart.

Azren felt the sudden determination when he remembered Lucifer, but told himself that all he was going to do was for the sake of his mission and not because of his personal feeling.

'I will try to separate Michy from Trissa for the sake of my mission.. I won't let Michy fall in love with the girl.'
