The Demon's Angelic Love

Chapter 132 - THAT FALLEN ANGEL

"So, you've finally met Azren again?" That was the question from the king that echoed in the dark hall.

The atmosphere in Hell was just like usual. It was dark and cold without the slightest love and warmth.

Hell was a place for hatred. Hell was a place for those who were rejected by Heaven. But, no. Lucifer wasn't rejected by Heaven, but he was the one who rejected Heaven.

Lucifer lived as an angel for so many centuries before getting the epiphany. Instead of bowing his head to God, he wanted all creatures to bow at him.

He was greedy, and he was evil. His heart was too dark, and the darkness managed to build another space other than Heaven and was called Hell. He was the king of Hell, working so hard to gain one by one follower that became demons in the end.

Several angels fell from Heaven after him, and they were called betrayers by the holy creatures in Heaven.

However, the angels who had fallen from Heaven didn't care about the label. They only followed their dark hearts to jump into Hell after falling from Heaven.

There were many reasons behind the betrayal of the angels, but they still fell to the same place; Hell.

Those fallen angels became demons, and they became Lucifer's followers as well. Aside from Lucifer as the strongest demon, no fallen angels remembered their past as an angel.

Lucifer was the one who erased their memories, and they couldn't even remember their identity. It could be said that the fallen angels were just puppets for the king of Hell.

Not only erasing the memories, but Lucifer also changed the appearance of those fallen angels. No longer bright hair color, no longer bright irises, and no longer a pair of white wings as well.

All hair turned dark, and all eyes turned crimson. There were a pair of horns on the head, and there were black wings on the back. That was the true appearance of demons.

It wasn't difficult for Lucifer to change the appearance of those fallen angels because those creatures didn't have the souls of an angel anymore.

They had lost to their greed, to their lust, to their anger, and finally, they lost their angel soul. That was why Lucifer could easily change the appearance of those angels.

Black wings, a pair of horns, a pair of crimson eyes, and dark hair. It was not difficult for Lucifer to create his demons' army.

However, there was one time when he couldn't completely change a fallen angel into a demon. That happened two hundred years ago, and until today, he was still upset because of the failure.

"Yes, my Lord," Orgonel, as Lucifer's trusted subordinate, answered the king's question. "I did as you ordered me before. I warned him about the third rule, and I also warned him about the person who probably wanted to disturb his mission."

Orgonel was just like Lucifer's legs and mouth. He visited Azren and told the young demons about several things, but he just followed everything the king wanted him to do.

"That's good," Lucifer replied. "Now the decision is in his hands."

Orgonel couldn't help but frown when he heard the king's second sentence. 'Azren is the one who has the decision in his hands? But how come?'

Ever since he was ordered to monitor the young demon in the human world, the king had been acting mysteriously. And even if he was curious, he could only do his job to avoid the lord's wrath.

"Azren was confused when I let him know about the warning, My Lord," the subordinate spoke again. "He asked me the details, but I couldn't tell him anything."

Perhaps it was not only Azren who was confused but the long-haired demon couldn't understand as well. Unfortunately, the lord didn't seem to care about his curiosity as he just smirked calmly.

"And I also don't understand why you warned him about that kind of thing, My Lord. He successfully managed to raise Michy's evil meter, but you seem not too happy about that," the long-haired demon dared to speak again.

Orgonel was Lucifer's trusted subordinate, and the long-haired demon was always there with Lucifer when the king 'welcomed' the fallen angels to Hell.

Orgonel always witnessed the event when Lucifer changed the appearance of those fallen angels, and he also witnessed when Lucifer failed to change the appearance of one fallen angel completely.

Orgonel was there as a witness, but he couldn't understand the king's ambitions in turning the fallen angel into a demon completely.

"That bastard..." Lucifer spoke while gritting his teeth. "For some reason, he suddenly stopped meddling with my business, but that's the reason why I have to stay alert from now on. I'm pretty sure that he's planning something to ruin my perfect plan."

Orgonel didn't seem to understand what the king just said, and he could only frown at the king.

Lucifer didn't mention a name, and Orgonel couldn't guess who 'that bastard' was. But he was sure that the king wasn't talking about Azren now. The king didn't even bother to answer his question earlier, and instead, the king just confused him more.

"That fallen angel, that fallen angel," Lucifer suddenly singsonged while resting his cheek on his palm. "He had betrayed God and was kicked out of Heaven, but he still has the angelic heart inside him. I've tried to kill that angelic heart in the past two hundred years but to no avail. Now that I'm finally executing my plan, God decided to intervene. It gets into my nerve!"

Lucifer suddenly got angry, and he used his right hand to slam the armrest of his throne. The armrest broke into pieces, but the king didn't seem to be satisfied by it as he suddenly got up from the golden throne and threw the throne away until it slammed the wall.

The wall cracked, but thankfully, it didn't cause the hall to collapse.

Lucifer was very powerful, and even if he didn't use his full power to destroy the throne earlier, he still managed to cause damage to the wall. It could be said that the throne was a giant throne made of gold, and when it slammed the wall, the wall cracked right away. And even the throne itself was broken into pieces.

Orgonel gulped at the sight. Without using his real power, Lucifer even managed to break the golden throne as well as managed to damage the wall, so he couldn't imagine what would happen if the king used his full power.

However, Orgonel found something interesting from the king's wrath.

"So, God is intervening your plan, my Lord? Is he 'the bastard' you were talking about? But, how did he manage to know about your plan? You've used your power to help Azren disguise himself as a human, but God still managed to find Azren?" Orgonel got some hints, and he asked some questions to confirm his suspicion.

Hearing the questions, the king glared at the subordinate right away. "You know nothing about this affair, Orgonel!" he spoke darkly to the subordinate. "That bastard God has known about it from the start, and that's why I keep battling him to win over Michy. I and that bastard God are the reason why Michy can have a dual personality in his body!"

Orgonel widened his crimson eyes upon hearing the king's confession. He knew Lucifer's plan related to Azren, but he didn't know that Lucifer also want to win over the human all along.

"What do you mean, my Lord? I thought you only used Michy as bait for Azren to be able to completely change into a demon, but you want to win over Michy for real?"

The mighty Lucifer, still standing tall on the platform in the hall, smirked dangerously at the subordinate as he stated, "You know nothing about my plan, Orgonel."

Meanwhile, at the same time but in a different place, a place where full of lights and warmth, someone also knew nothing about someone's plan. The clueless figure was Rehael.

In front of the Glass of Life in Heaven, he couldn't stop frowning while watching the moving figures displayed on the glass.

"Hey, Kezef," the clueless angel called out his partner who was standing beside him. "Do you know what our lord's plan is? I'm thinking that he's just playing around lately."

On the Glass of Life was a moving image of three figures who were eating dinner together. Both Rehael and Kezef could only observe the three's activity from afar. Kezef wore a solemn expression, but the other angel looked puzzled as he kept his eyes on the moving image.

"Don't say something like that," Kezef reprimanded his partner. "God knows everything in the world that we don't know.. Even if we didn't tell Him about Azren, He still managed to find it, right? Nothing can't run past God's eyes, so we should just enjoy the drama directed by God."
