The Demon's Angelic Love

"What do you mean, Sir? Will our king give me more mission from now on?" Azren was beyond curious and nervous, and he questioned the long-haired demon right away.

'I haven't even completed this mission, but our king wanted to give me a new mission already?' The young demon couldn't imagine it.

When Lucifer decided to punish him by sending him to the human world, the king didn't even tell him that there was only one mission he needed to complete.

Azren just realized it, and now he was anxious as he waited for Orgonel's answer.

"It's not like that," the long-haired demon answered, and Azren almost heaved a sigh of relief if the demon didn't continue, "Our king didn't tell me the details, but he warned you to be more cautious of your surroundings from now on. Someone might want to stop you from completing your mission."

The blonde demon gasped once again. Even when no one wanted to stop him from completing the mission, he couldn't complete the mission easily.

His previous opponent was the nice Michy, but when the nice Michy was not around anymore, he got a new opponent that he didn't know.

"Is it the angels that want to stop me from completing my mission, Sir?" The young demon immediately got that idea.

Hearing the innocent question, Orgonel raised an eyebrow. "You're suspecting the angels?" He asked.

Nodding his head confidently, but then Azren shook his head as he corrected his answer. "I think that's not the case because our king deliberately hid my demonic aura from them, right? They couldn't detect my presence and find my location, could they?"

Angels were the ones who would oppose demons' plan. When demons planned to corrupt humans' hearts and minds by provoking them to sin, the angels would try with all their might to 'save' the human from Hell.

Azren could only think about angels now, but he was also doubtful because Lucifer had helped him to hide his demonic aura.

"I don't know the details," Orgonel answered. "Our king is the only one who knows everything about it, so he only wanted me to relay the message to you. He wanted you to be careful of the people around you―"

"Hey, Azren! Is the dinner ready?"

Azren almost jumped when another voice suddenly interrupted Orgonel's words. The voice didn't belong to Orgonel, and the senior demon couldn't even finish his speech because of the voice.

When the young demon turned his head to the side, he found Elias was the one who just arrived at the kitchen and surprised him with the question.

But when he turned to the other side again, Orgonel was no longer there in the kitchen.

'Why did Sir Orgonel suddenly vanish like that?' The blonde demon couldn't help but wonder.

He expected that Orgonel would still stay with him even if there was an intruder, but Orgonel just teleported right away after Elias entered the kitchen.

'Maybe he has another thing to do,' Azren concluded while shrugging carelessly.

When he turned his head to another side again, he found Elias innocently sitting on the stool where he was sitting before.

The sudden appearance of the human had surprised him, but now the human was staring at him in confusion.

"Why are you so quiet, Azren? And you haven't even answered my question. Is the dinner ready? I don't see any food here," Elias asked again while resting his chin on top of the palm. The golden-eyed man even yawned casually in front of him.

'This man said that he wanted to be Michy's assistant, but it's still me who did all the job,' the demon grumbled inwardly as he just realized the situation.

Elias was Michy's second assistant, but he literally did nothing to assist the young idol.

Azren was about to scold the blonde man, but the silence was broken by the sound of the doorbell.

"The food has arrived. I'll pick it up in a bit," the demon replied before starting to walk away from the other man.

"Wait! Did you order takeouts? But Michy asked you to cook for him, right?"

Azren could hear Elias question him, but he ignored the man as he continued his steps toward the front door. Upon arriving at the door, he immediately unlocked the door and pushed open the door.

It was indeed the food that coming, and he quickly paid for the food with his money. It was not good for his wallet's health, but at least he could save himself from Michy's wrath.

Even though Michy was quite tame lately, he couldn't let his guard down. The idol might attack him if he didn't stay on guard.

Closing the door after getting the food, Azren took wide steps toward the kitchen. He didn't want the idol to find out that he ordered takeouts, so he planned to serve the dish on the plates and acted as if he was the one who cooked the dish.

That was such a smart plan, and he was proud of himself. 'I'm a smart demon now,' he praised himself while smiling foolishly.

Returning to the kitchen once again, the blonde demon immediately placed the dish on the kitchen counter before taking some plates from the cabinet. Placing the plates on the kitchen counter, he then started serving the dish on the plates.

Azren focused on what he was doing, and he didn't notice that Elias was observing him with his pair of golden eyes. Chin was still on the palm, and the golden eyes remained on the demon.

"You plan to lie to Michy?" Elias questioned him all of a sudden, and Azren halted his movement.

He just realized that Elias noticed his sneaky plan. If the golden-eyed man reported his cunning plan to Michy, then the idol probably would get angry at him.

Sighing heavily, the green-eyed demon turned around and glared at the golden eyes' owner. "I also ordered some food for you, so you better keep the matter a secret. If not, then you can leave with an empty stomach," he warned the other man.

Elias just gazed at Azren lightly, and he even flashed his trademark smile at the green-eyed man. "You want to bribe me with food? Do you think I'm a glutton that will only think about food?"

Azren gritted his teeth when he heard the response from the other man. He just wanted to serve the dish peacefully before Michy arrived at the kitchen, but Elias seemed to be wanting to take his time.

Holding back his anger, the demon then asked, "What do you want?"

Perhaps Elias had been waiting for that question to escape Azren's lips, and when that question finally greeted his ears, he immediately got up from the stool and walked over to Azren.

The young demon frowned as he kept his eyes on Elias. He didn't know why, but he could feel danger from the other man.

On the other hand, Elias kept walking closer to Azren, and when he arrived right in front of the demon, he leaned forward so that his face became so close to the demon.

Azren held his breath, but thankfully, Elias quickly straightened his back while raising his right hand in front of the demon's face. The demon widened his eyes in surprise.

"What do you want to do with my phone?" Azren immediately asked the question as he noticed his phone in Elias' hand.

It turned out Elias just wanted to take his phone from his pants pocket earlier, and Azren felt stupid for thinking that Elias would be the same as the perverted demon, Gizach.

Instead of immediately answering Azren's question, Elias focused his golden eyes on the object attached to Azren's phone.

"I will keep my mouth shut if you are willing to give me this beautiful phone strap," the golden-eyed man answered the question solemnly.

From the tone only, Azren knew that Elias was not joking. Thus, his body froze upon hearing the condition.

Elias was aiming for the phone strap from Michy, and Azren was puzzled. 'What's so special about this strap?' He wondered.

The strap didn't have any special appearance, but Azren thought that it was special because it was from Michy. Now that Elias wanted to take the strap away from him, Azren couldn't stop himself from scowling at the other man.

"Why do you want this strap? Do you see anything special with this strap?" Not wanting to be bothered by his curiosity, the green-eyed demon asked the question.

Shifting his gaze from the strap, Elias answered Azren's question, "Michy loves primrose, and I can tell that this strap is from Michy. That's why I want this strap for me."

Azren almost forgot that Elias was Michy's past, and that man surely knew about the idol's obsession over primrose. Perhaps he could also get an answer to his question from the man.

"Why does Michy like primrose so much? What's the meaning of primrose?" He decided to ask.
