The destruction and creation system

the demon straightened his body before speaking "what is your name human?" he asked respectfully . nicks eyes narrowed at the respect he was being shown "i am Nicholas varias , why do you ask creature?" he answered politely while also asking for an explanation. the demon was a bit confused why nick called him creature but then it dawned on him. the demon sighed "so, my race has been forgotten entirely it seems. I suppose that would make this entire attack almost without reason huh?" the demon mumbled under its breath but nick still heard it and was flabbergasted. from what he gathered the creature that was before him was from a forgotten race that might have had a bad relationship with humanity at one point. "i see , it might be too late to stop this fight but know i shall try." nick said confidently . the demon was stunned before laughing for a few seconds before his face grew solemn "my race is the demon race to stop this fight is impossible however i shall leave your body as intact as possible in honor of your thoughts." the demon said arrogantly. this time it was nicks turn to laugh . "that is funny for a second there it sounded like you thought that this is all my power , it's not even close." nick said before a black and white crown appeared above his head and released its pressure in the area causing the air itself to quake as though in fear. the demons face becomes grim as he understands this is going to be an extremely hard battle. the demon holds his axe in front of him and says "if it is my fate to fall before your blade so be it!" before charging at nick with a heavy chop rending the air under its edge. nick raises his blade and blocks the attack while being pushed back since his strength is slightly weaker than the demons. seeing this the demon uses a lighter but faster attack to capitalize on his advantage but nick teleports behind the demon causing it to miss before slashing his sword at the demons exposed back managing to cut through the armor but only barely scratched the skin underneath. the demon lunged forward putting some distance between himself and nick before front rolling and twisting to face nick with catlike agility. the demon eyed nick warily as he felt a cold sweat on his neck as he could tell if the armor didn't block most of that strike he would have been badly injured. the demon launched himself forward while twisting around midair to face nick with catlike agility. the two stared each other down one with a cautious look the other with a savage glint. this stare-down only lasted a split second before both charged at the other clashing their weapons violently sending shockwaves through the air blowing dust to either side of the two . the two clashed several more times before finally a spurt of blood was launched into the air from nick as the demon had managed to draw a small wound across nicks c.h.e.s.t. the feeling of being injured caused nick to wake from his battle craze before he sent a huge burst of energy in front of him with his free hand forcing the demon to dodge right into nicks sword which cleaved a bloody gash into the demons gut .
