Adrian was going through the toughest phase of his life this year.

His nightmares had grown vicious to the point that his body started turning into something else which he was not known about.

He had been trying very hard to find the cause of it but here he was again struck with his father's promise.

He would never do anything which let him down so he agreed for the marriage even though he did not want to. But what about coaxing the bride? Who would not want to marry a King? And even as powerful as him.. He had the audacity to rule the world and make them bow their heads in front of him.

A single word and the whole planet would be destroyed like nothing happened but here he was asked to coax a girl.

"Dad..!!?" He said questioningly to his father.

"What? Do you have anything to say?"

When he heard him calling 'Dad' he understood that he had asked too much from his son.

Adrian did not say anything as he had nothing to say.

So Ludwig continued.

"That girl is so pitiful. Her parents died young and were tortured by her step uncle's family. Later she eloped to a foreign country and now she came back with two little kids."

Ludwig said leaving him dumbfounded

'He wanted me to marry a girl who already has kids? Like how in the world this happened?'

He was feeling dizzy now. It's not like he had problems with the kids but still his father agreed to let her marry in the Royal family even though she had kids from another man?

It was too strange to digest.

"I know you might be thinking about the kids… It is said that she was trapped by her step cousin and her current boyfriend. The father of the kids is unknown…"

Ludwig stated 

"Dad..!! I mean don't you feel ashamed to have other kids in our household? Especially when their origins are unknown?"

Adrian was having blow after blow by his father. He came to her knowingly that he must have to face something big but these all were going beyond his hands..

"That girl was just 13 or 14 when her parents died while saving you. I was the one who couldn't protect her and all these things happened. I forgot my duties towards her otherwise this would never have happened. But now I want to give her a good life and only you can help me. After all, you were also there when I made the promise to her father…"

Adrian clenched his fists as he remembered the guy who had saved his life and cried for his daughter even when he was dying. He clearly remembered it.

"But what about the kids?"

He asked. He had no problems taking the kids in but still giving them the name of the Royal family was too much. 

He did not mind doing it. It's not like he was interested in marriage and having kids. It was good that his burden was being shared without him doing anything.

"As long as you don't mind accepting them and giving them your name. No one dares ask their identity."

Ludwig turned around to look at him 

"But Dad.. Everyone knows that I am not married yet..? Won't they talk trash about us?"

"Do you care about them talking behind your back ?"

He asked while looking into his son's eyes.

He really wanted him to marry the girl from that family.

"Dad… I never cared about them. It's good if I get married and have two kids in advance. I never have to feel burden in having kids and can live my life peacefully"

Unknowingly, Adrian expressed his thoughts a bit too loud which made Ludwig frown 

"No…!! I want you to coax her into getting married with you.. And I'm saying this not because you have to fulfill your duties, I'm saying this so that you guys can come closer…"

At this moment Adrian wanted to say something but kept his mouth shut as he knew there was no way he was getting out of this.

"I will try my best Dad.. But still 1 or 2 months are too little to make her marry me…"

He just wanted to buy a little time from him. Maybe except for one or two months, he would grant him one or two year.. 

Wouldn't it be great ?

He thought to himself but his father was way more cunning than him and said as if he had read his mind

"Fine. I know 2 months are not enough so I'll give you more time…"

Adrian felt delighted in his heart until his father said

"I will give you 3 months. And I guess it is more than enough for my son to make her marry you "

He felt speechless by his 'great' decision.

'It would have been better if you would have not given me an extra month..'

All the happiness he felt just a while ago was gone. He didn't know how to coax a girl.

He did not even know how to talk to a girl.

He had been very conservative and except 4 to 5 women he had none beside him.

The task of wiping the whole clan of villains was even easier than to coax a girl for him.

He stood there rooted, not knowing what to say.

"Does my son have something to say?"

Ludwig turned around to face the window once again and asked him with a smirk on his face when he found out how he was standing there speechlessly.

Adrian quickly bowed his head in respect and replied "No.. Father is too kind to give me so much time. I would never forget this kindness of yours"

Ludwig knew he was saying sarcastically but he still turned around and patted on his shoulder trying hard to control his laughter.

"Of course.. This is what a father should do for his son.."
