The Devil's Curse

I arrived at this weird place. All I see is a humongous brown door. Where am I? I guess I will just push the door and go in.

"Hello. My name is Angelica. You have entered the door of grief. You will pass if you are able to withstand it. If you don't, you will stay here forever and die of it." Angelica said. "Please, start."

The scenery is shifting? Is this my house? Okay. I heard someone screaming inside the house. "You bastard, bitch, whore! How can you! You gold-digger! You were the one that ran us down. You bought so much designer bags and jewelry, and now you want to leave just because I am poor now!" a man's voice yelled. "Are you also going to leave the children here?"

"No, duh. You are out of money, what should I do, stay here with you? No way. I live for money. And yes, I will be leaving the children with you. Bye. Hahahaha," the women laughed. Wait, hold on, is this when Mom betrayed us?

"I'm sorry children. Y-you're mom left us," my dad cried as he hugged us. My brother started crying.

The scene of my mom betraying us, kept replaying in my head. Damn you! If it wasn't for you, Dad wouldn't have ever got hurt and overworked himself. He wouldn't have ended up in the hospital! I will kill you! Kill, kill, KILL!

At that moment, I heard, "She will pass, just you watch. Not everyone is vengeful like you. We forgive. Some people didn't mean to betray, but if someone did they must have a reason. Alright then, Heather, it's your turn. Don't fail."

Is that Ava? Where is she? Wait, forgive? Why should I forgive her? Now that I think about it, I was actually happy when Mom left. All she did was abuse us, her own flesh and blood. But why should I forgive? I mean, Mom was a gold-digger. Is that her reason? I started to calm down. Heather, calm down and think. This is what Kurushimi wants, for you to to go insane. Calm down. I still wanna kill her though. Ah, oh well.

"You have passed. Even though you have seen the vision of what you hated most, you stayed calm and didn't go insane. Congratulations," Angelica said.

I went back to Kurushimi's castle.

"We both passed, now please remove the curse on Ava," I said.

"Tch. Didn't expect you to pass. Fine." Kurushimi walked over and Ava's curse was removed.

"Thank you, very much," Ava said. Belphegor walked down and smiled.

"You guys passed. That's good. Now you guys can go home." Belphegor smiled. "All right, let's go to Kurai. She's a —"

"Yes, we know her,"Ava interrupted.

"Okay, then. Let's go."

Finally going home! Yahoo! But, I brought so many weapons for nothing. Fuck.

"Hello, great demon lord, Belphegor," Kurai bowed.

"Hello. Can you transport Ava and Heather back home?" Belphegor asked.

"Sure. Bye, Ava and Heather. It was nice meeting you," Kurai smiled.

"Oh wait. I need to return this to you." Heather took off the ring that Kurai previously had given us.

"Nope, keep it. You can use that ring to come here any time!" Kurai laughed.

"Oh wait, the cloaks," I shouted. Heather and I took off my cloak, and gave it back to Belphegor.

"Thank you. Get back safely," Belphegor said.

"Bye, thank you all," Heather replied.

We made it back home in the occult club. I checked the time. It is still Thursday, May 12, the day we left.

"Alright, let's go back to studying!" Heather shouted.

"Oh FUCK NO!"
