The Fallen Consort

The day of the Auction, the Xiang Kingdom was more packed than yesterday. To accommodate everyone, they are only allowed to send two people in each party. Even then, the Auction house was full to the brim. The owner and host of the auction was in tears. They have never seen their Auction House this full. They were commissioned 5% for every item that will be sold. Normally it was 10%, they gave a discount since the Emperor was the one who recommended this Auction House to the Blue Rose Sect. They were also much willing to give a discount because of the commotion it will bring, their auction house would get popular from now on. They might be able to have future transactions with the Blue Rose Sect, if they can give a satisfactory service.

Yi Ling, Minzhe and Xiang He was on the third floor of the auction private box. Yi Ling left Linyu and Haoran to watch over the sect. He was getting more reliable on baby sitting. Haoran on the other hand was more stern on disciplining the disciples. So they were balance in a way for the sect to grow.

Yi Ling also plans to recruit more Elders in the future, so that Linyu will have more people to help the sect and also to be able to bring him along with her. For this, She really need to get going. After this auction, she was ready to set out. It would help if Minzhe will stay as well, but the kid declined. He will never let her go away from his eyes again. After the incident where Yi Ling confronted King Jin, It almost gave him a heart attack. He couldn't let that situation happen again. If he has to kidnapped his own mother, he would do so.

At the moment, they were all observing the commotion down below. Everyone was trying find places to sit or to stand. A servant from the auction house entered their room and reported.

"Everyone is accounted for Sect Master and Your Majesty. We are ready to start the auction." He bowed. The Emperor had ordered Elder Zhen before, to tell the Auction House that the Sect Master should be addressed first. His Master Yi had a higher status that him.

Yi Ling nodded to Xiang He.

"En, you may start." Xiang He commanded the servant.

"Yes, your majesty." The servant bowed again and left.

"I see some Emergent Stages down below, Master." Minzhe informed them. His powers was higher than anybody, so he could easily point this out. To avoid revealing his mother's gender, He addressed her as Master instead of Mother.

Yi Ling's brows furrowed. "Which ones?" She asked.

"The ones at the front, Blue and Green Robes." Minzhe rubbed his nose. They are from the high-ranked kingdoms. It seems like news have reached there as well.

Xiang He was listening to their conversation and looked at the people at the front too. He had the same conclusions with Elder Minzhe.

"Hmm.. Do you know them?" Yi Ling asked Minzhe. Minzhe had been told her before that he was roaming around Huaxia for 200 years. Visiting Kingdoms after Kingdoms, to find the Sapphire Jade Ring.

"Yes, they are from Azure Kingdom. The color of their robes matches."

"Hmm.. Get more information about them Xiang He." Yi Ling sipped her tea.

"Yes, Master." He got up and left. Elder Zhen was on the next room to theirs. After commanding Elder Zhen, he came back to their room.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen, tonight we will be hosting the Auction for the Blue Rose Sect. As you may not all know, we will be auctioning various concoctions made by the Sect Master himself!" Said the host. He was ordered to reveal this news before it starts, to incite the people.

It did the job, people was talking loud to their neighbors. They all can't believe it, the Sect Master himself? How talented is this man?

"Alright, settle down. To start this Auction, we will now present our first item." The host gestured the servant to bring it in.

The servant brought in 5 Red Colored Bottles.

"Our first item is called the Blood Rejuvenating. This concoction will help any individuals who aren't capable of cultivating. In short, a useless person will be able to cultivate once ingested." The people were getting louder. It was only the first item, yet they were all ready to bid. How amazing is that? From a crippled to a Cultivator? It was beyond miracle!

"Alright, settle down. I wasn't even finished yet. Let me continue." The host chuckled. Hearing that there was more, everyone quieted.

"This concoction has another function. It will also help someone who had a failure in their breakthrough. It will heal all your meridians as well as help you breakthrough to the next rank. Bidding starts at 10,000 gold for each bottle. We currently have 5". The host smiled.

Everyone was astonished. It was common knowledge that once you failed a breakthrough, you will be stuck on that rank forever. This news brought a whole new level of excitement to everyone. The bidding started and it ended up selling 150,000 gold each.

Yi Ling smiled. Though it wasn't as high, the ingredients were bȧrėly 500 gold for each bottle. Well, that's if you don't count the spiritual water and Linyu's leaves. It might be priceless to others, but it was free to hers. She was earning a lot of gold. Her eyes was glittering on anticipation.

Xiang He felt like he wanted to bid as well, he didn't know that his Master was really this talented. He only knew about the names of the concoctions but not their usage. It was too late to ask Elder Zhen about this. It would be too embarrassing to get up. He clenched his fist, he felt like crying.
