The Fallen Consort

Yi Ling ordered Minzhe to handle the Sect while Linyu was preoccupied. In a way, it was Minzhe's punishment for accidentally divulging her identity. It was either that or face Mu Xin. Minzhe decided to follow his mother's wishes rather than face his old man. He knew that he will get a worse punishment, since it involves his mother's safety.

Yi Ling told Tefei to guard her chamber while she goes to the Blue Rose Palace. Tefei decided to stay outside now, rather than inside. He felt that ever since he can conjure a human body, he should keep a respectable distance to his master. Especially that she will be unconscious.

Inside the Palace, Mu Xin was inside the Hall with Haoran. Contrary to Yi Ling's imagination, Haoran wasn't protesting. He was actually kneeling in front of Mu Xin. Singing praises and whatnot.

"What's going on here?" Yi Ling was puzzled at the picture in front of her. Ain't it Haoran supposedly be mad?

"Nothing, Just that this tree wanted to plant his roots beside Linyu." Mu Xin shrugged his shoulders.

Haoran blushed. It was actually more than that. He felt like his brain couldn't comprehend of all the news that he heard today.

When Haoran got inside this place, he was shocked. Aside from the dense amount of spiritual energy, he had also saw his King's actual form. The Eternal Oak looked so regally and mystical on top of the hill. Those colorful leaves and eccentric gold and silver hues was beyond any tree he had ever seen

No wonder he was the King. He could feel something inside him, the urge to bow towards the Eternal Oak. He walked towards it and bowed. He was blessed to see it in real life. He silently vowed to follow and protect his King.

The white robe man introduced himself as Mu Xin. Mu Xin interrogated him about where he came from and what's the story about the Red Lotus. He couldn't tell on much, since he wasn't close to that old man. He only said that he was considered as the oldest spiritual spirit in Huaxia, also that he constantly tells a story about the Goddess and the King of the Spiritual Herbs.

So far, all matched up to Linyu's story about Haoran. In order to make Haoran on their side, He confirmed to Haoran that Linyu was indeed a seed before and that he was planted to this place to grow by the Goddess. Mu Xin also explained about this place, it was considered as the Goddess Main Palace. Unfortunately, The Goddess died along with the calamity of the Huaxia. All of these, happened ages ago.

Haoran was stunned, seeing the Eternal Oak in real life was already a blessing to him. Now that he knew where he was, he didn't know how to feel or react. It was beyond his capabilities. To stand where the Goddess of Huaxia had been before.

But what shocked him the most was when Mu Xin told him that the Goddess is back. She reincarnated and was doing well. The Goddess is the only owner of this Palace. No one will be able to enter this place without her permission.

When Haoran asked where she was, Mu Xin only smiled. He then brought over Haoran to the Main Hall, to wait for Yi Ling. That was when Haoran decided to ask if he too, can be planted beside Linyu.

Yi Ling scratched her head and walked towards Mu Xin.

"So, can we trust this guy?" Yi Ling whispered to Mu Xin.

"Yea, you can. Good thing you've found this herb. He is actually not that useless. We can use him to enhance your bow." Mu Xin played with Yi Ling's hair.

Yi Ling pursed her lips together. "But, we don't have any blacksmith in the sect. I was actually wanting to ask Xiang He, if he could recommend any? Sooner or Later, we need someone to build weapons for the disciples."

"That one, you do need to ask. But for your bow, I can do it." Mu Xin looked at Yi Ling.

"You can fix my bow?" Yi Ling didn't know that Mu Xin was a blacksmith too. He was too mysterious.

"Don't you trust me? I will always do anything for you Ling'er." Mu Xin pulled Yi Ling to his embrace and kiss her forehead.

Yi Ling blushed. She was getting used to Mu Xin's antics. Just that, she couldn't understand why her body doesn't want to reject his actions. In a way, she was actually liking it.

*Cough cough* Haoran made a loud coughing sound. He was still kneeling on the floor. He was shocked to see a beautiful lady that was hugging and flirting with Mu Xin. He could sense that this lady wasn't all that powerful, but to be able to tame this man was something! She didn't looked familiar but in a way, he felt like he should know her.

Mu Xin smiled and made Yi Ling face Haoran.

"This is Yi Ling. She is the Master of the Blue Rose Palace. Linyu serves her as his master. As you know, she is also called the Sect Master Yi. Now that you are contracted to her, she is now also your master." Mu Xin glared at Haoran. Silently keeping him in check. He didn't want Yi Ling to know about the Goddess yet. The Goddess and Jin MeiLing was the same person.

Haoran's eyes was as wide as his mouth. The Goddess!?? Sect Master Yi was a woman!??
