The Fallen Consort

Yi Ling was inside a forest, she didn't know where she was heading but it was better that to be with that pig! She cursed in her head.

As she was reaching the center of the forest, she noticed something out of the corners of her eyes! Spiritual Herbs! They were everywhere and I mean all different kinds! Her eyes couldn't believe what she was seeing. She guessed that the Jin Kingdom was one of the High Ranked Kingdom in Huaxia. But she can never believe her awesome luck! Why was there so many spiritual herbs in this forest? Then a thought hit her.

"Am I now inside the spiritual beasts territory?" Yi Ling instantly froze. She had been feeling the same abundance of spiritual energy, so she didn't paid attention to it. She looked around but didn't see any danger.

Since she couldn't sense anything, she took a step close to one. Daring to see if something will pop out, if she plucked one out of the ground.

*Pop!*

Yi Ling open her eyes wide, waiting to see any sort of noise or movement. Nothing. Nothing happened. Her eyes shined.

"Since you guys aren't coming out, I won't be shy!" Yi Ling said out loud.

She pulled all the spiritual herbs that she could get. She even found some herbs that she could use to change her skin and voice! It was a good thing that she studied Mu Xin's book! It was really helpful to her!

When she was satisfied with her harvest, She walked again. Deeper into the forest. Its been 5 hours already, since she had left the palace. She didn't know that a group of people was HOT in her tail.

When Yi Ling reached the deepest part of the forest, the sun was about to set. She still didn't see any spiritual beasts around. She can feel that someone was staring at her but she never saw anyone.

Along the way, she still pick up all the spiritual herbs that she could see. She had a big load of spiritual herbs on her back. The pill was gradually making her stronger, so she was able to lift up the load. She made a bag using big leaves and vines.

In the center of the forest, she saw a big cave. Since it was almost dark, she went inside and left her stuff beside the big rock. She went outside to gather some wood and went back inside.

She didn't dare went all the way inside the cave, The cave was huge. Some spiritual beast might be living inside, she thought.

She sighed, if she dies during this journey. She can only blame that ŀėwd King.

She made a bonfire inside the cave. To keep her warm. She ate some fruits that she found in the forest. As she was eating, a couple of hundreds of Li outside the cave.

A group of Spiritual beast was lurking around the cave. Like it was guarding the cave itself. There were a variety of them, but some had powers of an Emergent, a few in Sainthood and One had the powers beyond sainthood. It was a God. A legendary beast! It was the God of this forest.

As they were lined up around the cave, a group of people arrived. It was the Golden Knights

"Crap! what's with all the spiritual beasts!?" A man from the Golden Knights spoke out loud. His code name was Fox.

"This road definitely leads to that woman! Her aura is now getting weaker. If we let this pass, the woman will get away!" One of the woman voiced out, code name Eagle.

"I can feel a legendary beast around." Tian Gu's powers was said to be a little bit higher than anyone in the Golden Knights and that's one of the reasons why he was the Leader. His code name is the Lion.

The Golden Knights consisted of Code Names. Their names correspond to their abilities. No one knew about it except the members of the Golden Knights, Yu Ran and King Jin. It is said that they have beast code names because King Jin's little sister was fond of beasts.

King Jin was the Phoenix and Yu Ran was the Dragon.

"We wont be able to get pass unless we fight our way through!" A different man said, code name Turtle.

"Leader, what are we going to do?" another woman said, her code name was the Snake.

"Leader, I suggest let Tiger go and tell the Phoenix and the Dragon about the situation while the rest of us handles the situation" A man, code name Ape said.

Tian Gu nodded., "Tiger, go and let the Phoenix and Dragon know about this ASAP! It looks like this woman is not easy. I wont be able to hold off the legendary beast for too long!" Tian Gu ordered.

A man called Tiger, bowed his head and left. One can only see the after images of his shadow. He was too fast to be seen.

The rest of the Golden Knights sighed, this was a difficult task indeed. All of them were only in the Mid Sainthood Stage, between 4-6 Ranks. Tian Gu was the only one in 7th Rank and he couldn't able to breakthrough no matter what. The Legendary Beast the he could sense was way stronger than him, it was definitely above the Sainthood. He shook his head.

He needed to bring the woman back to King Jin. He wondered what was the identity of the woman they were hunting and why did Yu Ran told them not to hurt her? And that he couldn't save them if they did? Is the woman connected to their King?
