The Fallen Consort

When Linyu , Mo Tian and Bai Zinghe came over, Jin Minzhe couldn't help but stare at Mo Tian. It was the same person that his mother was staring at earlier. Even though he was confident for his father's love for her mother, His father currently held no place in her present heart. It made him disdain any man who will try to woo his mother. Even though he kinda hated his old man for kicking him out, it didn't hide the fact that his father have done a lot of sacrifices for all of them. The least he could do is send the suitors away. The less people who will try to gain his mother's attention away from him. He couldn't help but be selfish towards his mother's time.

"Master, I brought him over."

"En. Mo Tian, we met again. I believe you still remember me." Even if he didn't speak before, she believed that Mo Tian was smart enough. She wouldn't be placing her bets on Mo Tian if he wasn't.

Mo Tian and Bai Zinghe clasped their fist and bowed towards Yi Ling. Although Bai Zinghe doesn't know the identity of the young man yet, Since Elder Linyu acknowledge him as master meant only one thing. It was the identity of the Sect Master. Though Bai Zinghe was weak and timid, he was pretty perceptive and smart.

"En. I remember the young master. May you tell this lowly one of your identity now, young master?"

"My name is Yi Jin. I am the Sect Master of the Blue Rose Sect. You've met your elders. Minzhe, Linyu and Haoran. As well as your senior, Xiang He." Yi Ling gestured at the individuals beside her.

Mo Tian clasped and bowed to everyone. "Mo Tian greets his superiors." Bai Zinghe copied Mo Tian.

"Is he your partner Mo Tian?" Yi Ling asked.

"Yes Sect Master. This is Bai Zinghe. I've just learn a while ago that he came from Feng Country as well."

Bai Zinghe rubbed his nose when his name was mentioned. Yi Ling looked at him and then Mo Tian.

"This is good. Xiang He, you may take this two and start the task I have given you. I have met Mo Tian and his family a year ago. He should be capable enough for it. I believe that he would cooperate willingly."

Xiang He stepped forward and eyed the two. Seeing that his master trusted Mo Tian, he nodded at them.

"Xiang He will follow Master's wishes. Mo Tian and Bai Zinghe, follow me. This will be your test for entering the Blue Rose Sect."

Before Mo Tian could even react, we was dragged away again. This time, Xiang He actually pushed the two in front of him to start walking. His Master Yi Jin had ȧssigned him another matter. It was to build a Contribution System and Rewards System within 7 days. This two better do it right! He didn't want to get embarrass in front of his master.

When the trio left, Yi Ling glanced at Minzhe. She had sense hostility from Minzhe towards Mo Tian. It puzzled her but she didn't ask. When everyone found their respective partners. Linyu spoke.

"Since everyone is ready, you must go inside the Goblin Forest. Your partners will have different tasks ȧssigned by me earlier. Your tasks is to help your partner finished their task as soon as possible. In short, you will act as their guards. Your time limit is 7days. If you finished your tasks earlier, you may come back to this area and wait. The two of you must return together. If one is missing, you will be disqualified. As well as not being able to finish the task that was ȧssigned to you." Linyu looked at the weaklings in front of him.

"The Goblin Forest may be considered among the lowest spiritual beast territory, but I advise you not to take your guard down. A lot of spiritual beast still lurks inside the forest. Your safety and life depends on your teamwork. Death may be inevitable once you enter the forest. Keep this in mind. Also, no sabotaging allowed. As I've said, You all have different tasks. Now dismiss!" Linyu waved his sleeves, indicating the start of their test. They slowly left towards the Goblin Forest. Most of the fainted ones were scared witless. Even their partners are too. Defeating a spiritual beast was still a risky move, even if they were considered as weaklings in their hierarchy.

They all have different tasks as Linyu mentioned. Be it obtaining different kinds of herbs, spiritual beast parts, collecting particular stones/rocks or minerals. etc.. The ones ȧssigned to obtaining spiritual beasts body parts had the hardest task. They all sighed as they walked towards their expected deaths.

Yi Ling wanted to try her luck in obtaining various things by using her sect. She wanted to know how efficient and fast it'll be. Plus, her soon to be disciples wouldn't be losing out anyways. She will help them gain a stronger hold and bring them to greater heights. If she wanted to be strong, she will also be responsible to all the people around her. Since everyone left, Jin Minzhe transform back to his 5 year old self and hold his mother's hand.

Everything was according to Yi Ling's plan. All they needed to do now is wait till the 7th day. They soon left towards the deeper parts of the Red Pass. Yi Ling had a different task for the trio beside her. She smiled while looking at the three.
