With her newly acquired powers, She made her breakthrough to Nascent Stage. Yi Ling didn't followed the regular cultivation's breakthrough. This was due to her Seals. Every seal that gets unlocked would boost Yi Ling powers to greater heights.

Yi Ling got up from her bed and got her masked on. She then placed a spell on the Ring to block anybody come coming out and removed it. Yi Ling looked at the Sapphire Jade Ring on her hand. The woman on her head was telling her on what to do. To keep them inside while Yi Ling deals with the impending doom outside.

Yi Ling then placed the Ring on the bedside table. "I'll be right back. I promise." She murmured before leaving.

Mu Xin could see and hear everything. He sighed. This woman rarely listens to him since way before. His Ling'er was always steadfast and bullheaded. Linyu and Jin Minzhe was panicking. No matter what they do, they couldn't get out. They weren't able to see nor hear anything outside, unlike Mu Xin. Nobody could tell them both what was going on. Mu Xin kept his silence, as well as Tefei.

When Yi Ling unlocked the Third seal, Tefei didn't felt pain like Mu Xin did. What he did feel was a surge of memories and power. He left the hill and went to stabilized his strength instead. Tefei fully understands his master's actions. After all, Tefei was Yi Ling's right hand man. Before Linyu and Jin Minzhe came, It was him standing beside her at all times. All he needed to do is gain his strength back, to be able to stand beside her again.

While Yi Ling was waiting at the sect's gate for the so called madman to come, King Jin was experiencing a very painful torture. His soul, his heart and his head felt like it was breaking apart.

He was currently sitting beside the a tree, clenching his ??h??st. It was the same pain he had encountered in the palace, more than 1 year ago. The pain would've only last a small amount of time but he wasn't in good condition either. He just experience a terrible stabbing pain inside his head. He couldn't understand what was going on with him. He was the most powerful in both Huaxia and up in Heaven. He had lived for extremely long time. He was a God or a Deity as his old worshipers called him. Ever since the great calamity happened that killed his little sister, he cut off his connections with Huaxia. So why is this happening to him now? Have he been so idle that he was now losing his touch? He gritted his teeth at the thought.

Yu Ran and the other spiritual beast stayed close by. Yu Ran tried to bring his King earlier to somewhere comfortable, but the King declined. Even though he could see how hard the King was enduring so much pain, He could only follow his King's commands.

It was almost close to sunset when the pain slowly subsided. King Jin slowly got up and glared towards the peak. Like the last time, he could pinpoint the exact location of his attacker. This would last for a day at most. His smile curled up as he dashed towards the peak.

"You dared again! Let this King tear you into pieces this time!" King Jin murmured as he flew pass the forest. Yu Ran and the spiritual beast was caught off guard. They instantly followed the King as fast as they could.

Yi Ling who was still standing outside the gate was nervous. The woman stopped talking on her head as soon as she removed the Ring. The woman promised Yi Ling to help her get stronger, as long as she pass this storm. She only need to get this madman away from the Ring.

When Yi Ling was having a hard time breathing earlier, she felt the third seal on her soul getting unlocked. She didn't experience so much pain this time, but her mind was invaded by a woman's voice.

The woman introduced herself as Mei Ling. She was the mother of Minzhe and the wife of Mu Xin. Mei Ling also said not to blame her husband and son for mistaking Yi Ling as her. It was only right since they do look a like.

Hearing this, Yi Ling's feelings was turned upside down. She felt pain and was jealous in her heart. Since when did she hoped that Minzhe was hers? When did she ever thought to be part of Minzhe's life? This made her confused, as well as her feelings towards Mu Xin. It hurt her more as she could feel the longing and love in Mei Ling voice, when she mentioned Mu Xin's name. What was going on with her? When she was around Mu Xin before, she didn't felt anything towards him at all. Is it because she felt guilty towards Mu Xin for sacrificing too much for her? Or did she really fell for him?

She didn't dare voice it out. Since Mei Ling promised to help her get stronger, that's what mattered to her right now. She needed to find his mother, avenged her family and maybe look for King Jin. This was her priorities at the moment. She didn't have time to get entangled into someone else's family.
