The necromancer just wants to plant trees

Summary 1 (Let’s talk about the framework and structure of this book)

This is the first summary of Necromancer, and will be included in approximately every subsequent volume.

There are no second or third-level directories in Qidian, which is very frustrating.

No more nonsense.

The framework of this book is as follows——

It is expected that there will be 4 to 5 parts in total, with each part containing between 800,000 and 1.2 million words.

Each volume consists of about 4 to 6 volumes, and the number of words in each volume is around 200,000 words.

Each volume is composed of 3 to 6 sections. The number of words in each section is variable, but it is approximately between 40,000 and 120,000 words.

Taking the first volume "Traces of the Dead" as an example, it is tentatively scheduled to have 5 volumes. Currently, the first two volumes have been written, and the main line will officially start from the third volume.

That’s right, I wrote 460,000 words before entering the main plot.

The specific structure is as follows——

I believe everyone has noticed that the first chapter released is actually the beginning of the second volume.

Posting and changing maps is a taboo in online writing, and writing travel notes is an even bigger taboo.

I didn’t feel that before, but after I finished writing, I almost couldn’t hold back my swear words:

“Travel notes are really difficult to write!”

The quality of the second volume can only be left to the readers to evaluate.

I am not particularly satisfied with it, and it may have something to do with the daily income.

But one thing is still worthy of affirmation.

Then the completion and details I have been pursuing will be no problem.

The structures are very complete.

The story of volume two.

Starting from Béanna's letter and ending with Lorraine's letter, there is a beginning and an end, which can be regarded as a kind of echo.

In fact, Beanna's letter already hints at the overall tone of this volume:

Before the journey begins, I am always full of longing, and when I embark on the journey, I am full of energy and enthusiasm. However, it is only on the journey that I realize that everything is different from what I imagined.

This is the charm of travel writing, but it is also a taboo of online writing——

That is to say, the journey is full of uncontrollability.

This sense of loss of control, where you never know what will happen next second, is not very acceptable to mainstream readers.

This is also why Gou Dao is so popular.

A sense of security is something today’s readers especially need.

The other is the sense of anticipation.

These are things that travel notes are hard to provide.

In addition, the pen and ink in this volume are mainly used to write about a few supporting characters, especially Lorraine. The protagonist's role is actually suppressed, so it is difficult to make it particularly enjoyable.

I took these issues into consideration when formulating the outline for Volume 2.

They have the potential to have a devastating impact on subscriptions (and they actually do, just less exaggeratedly).

But I am a tough guy.

I think whatever elements should be included in this book, I will definitely write about it.

The second volume in the plan is supposed to be a travelogue, so it is a travelogue.

The following third volume returns to the daily routine of planting trees and advances the main line, and it will certainly not be ambiguous.

If I just write whatever the readers want to see, then it becomes purely a genre article. I just have to develop a strong main line and write vigorously around it.

Qidian is currently only looking at the 24-hour subscription situation. With this strong main line of writing, the results are destined to be better than now.

But I still wanted the book to feel a little more like a real book.

Just like the details that I have always been obsessed with, they are often complained by some book friends and said to be fake, and a few people even left messages to threaten me to give up their subscription.

But my friend.

Those are the cornerstones of a world.

The book is called "The Necromancer Just Wants to Plant Trees."

In fact, it should be called "The Necromancer Doesn't Just Want to Plant Trees."

What I want to present to you is an interesting and vast fantasy world.

It shouldn't be a castle in the air.

Everyone in this world should have their own personality, their own unique experiences, and their own growth and changes.

I know it's hard to do this.

I will try to find a balance between my own creative feelings and the actual needs of the market.

I hope everyone can be more patient and tolerant.

thank you all.

at last.
