The Nemesis

As soon as Edwin jumped, they rushed towards the Excalibur. As expected, those flying creatures went after him. During all of this incident, Excalibur and Araceli's crew already left Eqxtron. Tracie and others were in the pods of Space corps. Tracie saw Edwin fighting desperately for their survival. Edwin is looking at them and how far they have gone?

Soon, Edwin is out of their sight. In a minute, they saw a massive explosion in the direction of Edwin. That explosion covered almost 10 Km of radius.

Nobody except Edwin saw the shadow of a person far away. As his consciousness slowly fading, that shadow appears near him in an instant. Edwin shouted, "Aolis, is that you?" He tried to get up, but the injuries were too severe. Aolis is a human-shaped cosmic entity. Edwin knows him from his days in Space Corps. Edwin slowly said to himself, "Am I dying?"

Later, he helps him to get back his consciousness. In a heavy voice, Aolis waked him up. Lying on the ground, Edwin asked him that is everything went according to plan? Aolis answered him that it worked. Again, he told Edwin that soon he would be dead in this condition. He advised him to move onto the next part.

Edwin asked Aolis that what will happen next. He answered that he is using the spell 'Incenenus Avelio' which, will cause him to teleport into the chosen dimension. For using that spell, Aolis needs one of the retrieved boxes. Aolis told Edwin that while everyone is panicked in chaos, he managed to snatch one. Edwin is surprised that he survived the blast. But, Aolis is not surprised at all. Again, Aolis asked him why did he go too far with this act. Breathing heavily, Edwin replied that he wanted to make sure that he is indeed dead. If he dies in front of his friend, then everyone would believe that he is a goner. Besides, some of them work in Arachnid. Edwin is suspicious that someone in Arachnid is the enemy.

He asked Aolis to tell him everything he knows and planned. Here, Edwin is just following the orders of his fleet commander Vririx. So, he doesn't know yet what Vririx and Aolis planed.

Aolis replied with a smile saying, that he would tell him only the essential things. Rest Edwin will learn by himself. He started Ellaboarting. First of all, Aolis asks Edwin what he knows about the term 'Zodiac". Edwin told him that nothing more it's all just an astrological thing. We human believes that it is like a prediction of future. The Zodiac, the 12 signs listed in the horoscope, is closely tied to how Earth moves through the heavens. From the constellations, those signs got their names. It marks out the path on which the sun appears to travel over an Earth year. The 12 of them, each occupying 30° of celestial longitude and roughly corresponding to the constellations. Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. And everybody on my planet knows this much about it.

"Very well!" exclaimed Aolis now, listen to me, I'm about to tell you about the dimension I ought to send you. Just like the history of Earth, humans also waged war against each other in that realm. People used witchcraft, spells, and other formidable things. If that war lasted long enough, then that realm would never exist till now. To avoid that, the creator of that world, Nozhul, created 12 spirits of the Zodiac. Now those spirits know as Zodiac Gods of that dimension. Those spirits brought peace to the world by defeating the evils within the realm. They took away their powers and magical abilities from them. To seal those abilities, three noble knights sacrificed their life. The knights are known as 'Knights of Doom' or 'Legendary Knights.'

Now that the power is gone, the seal is released. And two knights are roaming free around universes. I suspect the 'Enemy' you mentioned is in that Arachnid is working for the third knight. You know that Arachnid is after these boxes. Do you know what it is, Edwin? Edwin nodded as he doesn't know.

Aolis continued telling, the boxes they got, inside of them there is a life source. Of course, the person who suggested Arachnid research is after reviving that power for oneself. After listening to all of that, Edwin caught the point of the whole plan. He asked Aolis that why he is sending him to that dimension. Aolis told him to obtain the power of the first knight, which is remains sealed. The only way to stop the third one. Remember, the sword that can contain him is of the First knight 'Meityr.' That is the sole purpose of this all act, Vririx and I decided this. To obtain power and control is the only way to ensure the future of this and Zodiac's dimension.

Aolis started to arranging to activate the spell. There were too many questions, and uncertainty took place in Edwin's head after listening to all of that. He asked again his last question that, where is the second knight? Why Am I the one who is going there?

Aolis revealed that he(Aolis) is the second knight. And the reason he chooses him will come to light with time. As a second knight, he is using his life force for Edwin. It will cause a nuisance if the third one came back and use the box on Aolis. In reality, Aolis have only three ways. First, he uses the box for himself and dies because of the cost of lifeforce to use it. Besides, He is too old. Second, if he falls in the hands of the third one, he will be outpowered by him because even 12 spirits of Zodiac can't kill him. And the third one, to use the spell 'Incenenus Avelio' on Edwin. To entrust him to obtain the 'Meityr.'

Aolis called his staff and began the ritual of the spell. His stick is 1.6m of unique adamantium shape the base of that staff. Twisting and turning, this staff is rough and unrefined except for the handle. Its handle is wrap in solid but smooth silk.. The bottom ends in a layered scythe made of metal and spiky gems, giving it the appearance of glowing barbs.
