The Queen Wicked Deeds

Chapter 100 - Spring Dance

"Then… *cough* Moira… what do you think about… you know…" James was fretting inside the kitchen club class. He had been trying to make Moira look at him for the past few days, but the competition was harsh. "Moira… are you listening to me?"

The lovely girl with her pink apron was now focusing on baking the best dessert to amaze the Princess. A few days ago, many students of the class had been trying to bribe their way to heaven with pastries of magnificent flavor. However, the ones with the highest points were, of course, the ones handmade.

"Moria? Sigh…" James was now losing any hope. He had been trying to ask his dear fiancé to go with him to the Spring dance, but she was so focused on not paying him any attention.

"I will win this class."

"No… you will not…"

"What?"

"Take that…"

"Stop it…"

The students were now in a terrible battle within themselves. Floor, cream, and eggs were flying around as weapons of the culinary arts.

'Stop it!'

The students could see the raging flames of hell coming from behind her.

"Fire!"

Or not? It was because she exploded again the oven. James was already using his magic to stop it from going further. If one was to be blamed for wasting the ingredients and making the other club members cry, it should be the red-eyed girl glaring at the students.

"Sigh… Moira," James said as he put down the fire and rescued the cookies she had already prepared. Though her cake… well, it wasn't worthy to be rescued anyway. "Moira… are you willing to go with me to…"

'I will go,' she signaled and kissed his cheek, then she looked down with a shy expression, 'but…'

It was such a strange and different expression from her usual face that Jame couldn't help but blush a little.

"What is it, Moira?"

'I… I don't know how to dance.'

She didn't look up at the boy that was now smiling at her cuteness. He sighed and hugged her. "I will teach you…" he whispered, making her shiver even more. "I will wait for you in my room, my dear."

That was the event of the year for many students in the kitchen and the whole school. The indifferent girl had always one expression every day, a cold poker face, but just then, she… she smiled.

However, not a few seconds passed from the revelation of her face when James couldn't stand the heated gazes and the hands that were prepared to take their cameras.

"Don't you even think about it!"

He took her into his arms and pressed her face on his ċhėst.

"Awww…." the voices of disappointment and cheering from the girls combined themselves with the fight for the pastries making.

[Beth…

The man that kidnapped her was an old man with a strange hobby, to disappear from the house for many days and reappear with many gifts and strange artifacts.

Beth was taken care of as the young granddaughter of the old man. No one knew why he was doing such a thing for a strange orphan girl, but he was acting so caring towards her that many thought of her as his real granddaughter.

However, Beth only felt like a prisoner again. Her world was again starting to tumble, and she didn't need such a caring man to exploit her for her talents as she believed he will do.

But… the time passed, and the man didn't ask her anything, he even let her return to the school she so adored with her simple, ordinary friends. Though, the classes were kind of boring and without any sense to her.

She felt grateful for that. For the first time, she was given an option to really feel grateful on her own without promising her life in return. No more a slave, nor a daughter, nor a genius, but only her.]

The Spring Dance was an event where the only ones allowed to attend were the students from the second year onward. The first-year students didn't have permission to enter that event as they had the first year school fair for them to attend and much more free time than the next years. How lucky.

"Princess Anne, are you sure you don't want to come?"

Tia was worried, her princess had not made any preparations to go into the ball. Even when all the school knew that Henry was not with her, she could at least come to eat the pastries and make the others enjoy her presence. However, Anne didn't answer the invitations.

"You go, Tia," Anne looked at the beautiful Tia with her long dark hair and her beautiful blue dress with a smile, "I will stay here admiring the moon."

"…" Tia looked at the curtains opened and the moon her princess was looking at.

It was a cloudy day and there was no moon visible in the sky. However, a big white cake with a lot of chocolate petals was adorning the table. What a moon, a chocolate moon.

"Miss, are you sure you will be alright?"

"Yes, of course," Anne said while covering her head while covering her body with a fluffy cover and looking at the new device developed by her company. "I will have a movie marathon this time."

"Movie marathon? What is that?"

"Oh… that may be a… theater in home?"

"What?!"

"The same as the MINI's photos, but they can move."

Tia was now really concerned about her little princess, "Princess… did you use black magic to capture the soul of people and do your 'evil' bidding?"

"What with the apostrophes," Anne crossed her arms and looked at Tia with a rising brow, "This is a new technology, my dear Tia, soon the people from this world will know the beauty of having their best entertainment at the reach of their hand. Now… behold, the magic of the movies! Muahahaha"

She pressed the little cube that was on the table and blue light reflected in the wall. Then the face of a man with glasses and a beautiful woman in the back with a concerned expression showed up right then.

"Princess Anne, if you are seeing this recording, it means that we…" he paused to arrange his glasses and Anne gulped with fear and suspicion.

He won't say that he had encountered an ȧssassin with a strange white mask and a knife, right?

"We have been stolen," he said with a scary voice, making the beautiful woman behind him shiver.

"Vin… darling, you should let go," she tried to calm him down, but the man seemed to be angry.

His eyebrow was frowned to a new degree.

"The device had been stolen in front of my eyes, and we didn't have the strength to protect it," he sighed but then looked at the little girl with hope in his eyes. "Your mission, if you decide to accept it, it is to recover the device and bring back the culprit to face justice."

"Vin… sigh…" Kira was now a bit uncomfortable, but this time she could only go with the flow. "Please Princess, I hope you can take the mission."

Anne looked at them with a raised brow and her tea ready to enter her mouth. "Mmm…" she took a sip, and then looked at the two of them. "Tell me everything you know about this thief."

Vin nodded and sent a message to Anne's exclusive MINI.

"That is the description and photos of the one entering the secret room of the company," he said but just then the signal of the projection became blurry, "Princes…. Anne… careful… danger…"

CEO Vin couldn't finish his words when the blue light turned off. Then a strange message appeared with a red light.

[You are my target.]

"Miss…" Tia looked at the message that was written in red big letters and then an image of a strange old house appeared.

However, the house was different, so different from the ordinary houses in Lith or any other country. It seemed to be from another world.

"Wha… what is going on?"

Tia looked at her princess to find her laughing aloud, but this time it was not the muahahahaha, or the hihihihi or the hohoho she liked to do in these cases, but the kind of smirk that could send shivers to the spine.

"Miss?"

"Tia, go to your party," Anne stood up and took a piece of the moon chocolate cake from the table, "I will have so much entertainment tonight."

"Are you sure? This doesn't seem safe… I should call Moira or some of the knights…"

"Tia," the voice and eyes of Anne didn't seem ordinary but for the first time the aura of a mighty Queen appeared, "I will manage."

"Ye… yes…"
