The Queen Wicked Deeds

Chapter 133 - The Room

The one inside the room was none other but Mellie, he was holding a strange sphere of magic in his hand. However, his eyes seemed strange, a bit different from his usual self.

"What are you doing?"

Henry asked while raising a brow. He didn't know much about little demons like Mellie, but he did know about rules in games. And the demon before him was breaking the rules.

"Nothing," Mellie threw the sphere towards Henry, "just taking care of some business."

"What do you mean?"

"Don't worry about it," Mellie said as he turned around, "eat that and save the others, or you can just go out…"

Mellie laughed as he moved towards a door that appeared from nothing.

Henry didn't dare to slack off, and he took the sphere into his mouth. It melted as if it was water. The next moment, he felt a strange sensation growing from his heart to every single vein in his body. It was extraordinary, as if it was power.

He smirked and looked at the door that was behind him. However, he didn't cross, he knew that it would be a bad choice.

Then he closed his eyes, and suddenly he felt it, the others' aura. It was strange, and he didn't know what made him do that, but he knew it was the right thing to do.

He clasped his fingers and disappeared.

Three days later…

"I want chocolate cake," Beth requested.

"Okay," Henry smiled and nodded.

"I want a fruit tart," Beth requested.

"Okay," Henry smiled and clasped his fingers.

Suddenly, a waiter came with a big tray of desserts in his hands.

"I want ice cream," Beth requested.

"Okay," Henry looked at the waiter, and the young man went back to the kitchen and brought a big cup of ice cream. It looked delicious.

"I want…"

"You can't eat all that," John said with a frown in his head, "that is too much, you are already growing fat, much more and…"

He didn't end the phrase when he was kicked in the leg.

"You are a crazy monster!" John kneeled to alleviate his pain.

"I am a beautiful crazy monster," Beth said and looked at Henry with a wink. He smiled at her and nodded at her remark.

Beth and John continued their banter for a while, however, something was different on them.

"Why don't they remember?" Henry asked Billie, they were all eating in a restaurant near the school, and it seemed as if it were like any other day in their lives. As if nothing that happened a few days ago had stayed in their memories.

Beth and John didn't remember, even Mateo had his memories erased.

"I don't know how it works," Billie said while taking a sip on his cup of coffee, "I had taken him many times with me to some other missions, and each and every time he just loses his memories."

Henry looked at Beth with a bit of relief. He knew that if she were to know what he was doing, her competitiveness will make her difficult to control.

She will strive to win, to help him win, and also in the eye of the other competitors. Though, he will be there to protect her any time. After all, he had gotten a new skill.

"What will you do?"

Billie asked as he watched the two idiots already fighting on the floor for a piece of chocolate. "Will you tell her?"

Henry didn't answer. It was true that he was tempted to tell her everything, she was a genius and the one who helped him with the last maze. If it weren't for her, he didn't know what he would do. Maybe the first mission would have been lost. Now he had a big advantage over the rest of the competitors, and all thanks to her.

"Let's go," he said and stood up from his seat. He needed to take his girlfriend from making a sunshine cry on the floor.

He grabbed her from the waist and shove her on his shoulder, "wait! I hadn't finished him!"

"You can't!"

"Why?!"

"Because we have to go on a date, don't you remember?"

"I…" she didn't remember, "when did we agree on that?"

She blushed when he took her straight to a cloth store. "Right now," Henry said and put her on the floor while many store helpers were already taking measurements.

It was time for him to meet her grandpa and make things more formal. They were going to college soon and more and more people will meet her. He didn't want to give the opportunity to anyone.

They were celebrating the anniversary of the Hesse company, an event without precedent. It would be the first time in history that the Master hosted a party in his mansion and invited the most important people of the world to it.

"Grandpa, this is Henry," Beth was brimming with delight, she had already introduced Henry some days ago, however, her jealous grandpa had made difficult the task.

He sent Gandalf to smell Henry all over. The dog did his job to the best of his instincts, even smelling the strange aroma from his pockets. It would be needless to say that the cookies that came from Henry's pocket were enough to conquer the giant white dog.

Then, after the horrible betrayal of that fluffy creature, grandpa set a game of chess. He had already lost many times against Beth, though, the shameless girl cheated many times. However, he was sure he will… no nevertheless, he didn't even win once against that shameless boy that doesn't have any courtesy for the elders.

He then made many of his best bodyguards fight with Henry, if he were to be by Beth's side, he should be able to have the skill to fight, right? It was not because he wanted to see the cheeky brat down to his knees begging to let him off. However,… the poor bodyguards, ended up praising the young lad. He was better than many middle-level guards and almost won against one of the advanced levels.

From then on, that day was full of tests. Cooking, pouring tea, baking, cleaning, sewing, knitting, ironing, languages, history, economics, and even sciences.

"Damn brat!"

Master Hesse ended up shouting, he couldn't see any fail.

"Grandpa?" Beth leaned to the side, "Why are you so rude with Henry?"

She frowned, but she didn't see what her old man was looking at. The young man beside her was sending shivers to anyone daring to step closer to them.

Well, after all, she was looking precious, and she was the main attraction of the event. The granddaughter of the Hesse family, the one that was believed to be dead.

Some of the elders were looking at her with different eyes, from disaprovement, to greed. Somehow, it was known that she had lived many years in the streets and had to rob to survive. It was also known that she was a genius and the favorite to inherit the empire of his grandpa.

So, they believed that if they shoved their grandson to seduce the little girl that was hungry for affection, they will gain many advantages with the old man. However, a variable that they didn't prevent was Henry Mills.

The young man that had the Mills Empire in his hands, and now was joining hands with the Hesse family. Just having him protecting that girl was enough to make their delusions back out.

However, Grandpa Hesse was not that happy, he wanted to teach Beth the harshness of the high society and see how she will deal with them. Mostly, he wanted to see an interesting spectacle on how she will beat some ȧsses, however, that damn boy was hindering his fun.

"Let's go, Henry," she smiled at the one holding his waist and waved at her old man.

She was no fool, she also knew what the old man was trying to do, but she was more interested in teasing her newly official boyfriend than playing with the ones in the hall.

"Beth," Henry looked at her and leaned on her forehead when they reached the balcony, "what are you doing?"

She was watching the garden and thinking, her little forehead frowned.

"I had… I had a strange dream," she said while looking at the garden again, "I don't understand…"

"Tell me…"

"I was in a street, a crowded street, and you were there, even Mateo and John and Billie," she frowned and thought harder. She was so immersed in her memories that she failed to notice Henry's eyes. "It was a crazy dream, never mind… or… can you make magic, my dear Henry?"

She looked up at him and raised a brow. However, just then… a shoot was heard…
