The Revenge Turned To Love

Mishi was working in her office when Yuwan came there. Seeing him Mishi closed the file and got up from her chair. She shook hands with him and they both sat on the sofa there.

"So, how's everything going?," asked Yuwan while unbuttoning his blazer's buttons. Mishi gave him a warm smile and replied, "I'm happy Yuwan after such a long time. I'm really happy. You used to say right to me that I should face my fear. Yuwan I can't even express this wonderful feeling."

Seeing Mishi's smiling face Yuwan felt happy. "I'm happy that you've found your happiness finally." Mishi nodded and asked him about his father Xiu and her siblings.

"They are happy. Dad told me that he wanted to shift to Beijing. So, he will start living with me. He was also asking about your marriage with Xian." Yuwan told Mishi and comfortably rested himself on the sofa.

" If he will be here then I can meet him daily," mumbled Mishi and smiled. "Yuwan, do you want to drink coffee or something cold?," asked Mishi.

"No, thanks." Yuwan politely refused. They both talked for a while for a few more minutes and after sometime Yuwan left the office. Mishi was again immersed into her work when the lawyer came inside with Mishi's Secretary.

"Ah! Mr Li Feng. Good morning." Mishi greeted the lawyer and told her Secretary to bring coffees for them. "Please have a seat," mumbled Mishi and gestured to him to sit at the sofa.

"Well Ms Xin, I went to the central jail and had a talk with Ms Mei. She was refusing first but then I told her that it's like a new chance for her. She agreed but also said she doesn't want to come in front of them especially Mr Mark," stated Li Feng.

Mishi shook his head and then clasped her fingers together. "I'll handle those. Please look into this matter. In what time she will be released." Mishi asked from Li Feng.

"Ms Xin, since she tried murdering you and you yourself asked for the harshest punishment for her so it will take a long time. The least release time is 3 months which can also take more than a year." Li Feng explained Mishi. Mishi nodded and told him to make it possible as early as possible.

"Don't worry Ms Xin," assured the lawyer. The coffee mugs were placed on the table before them and both talked further about Yin Mei's release while drinking coffee.

After having talk with him she left for the central jail to meet Yin. In the jail Yin smiled seeing Mishi. They both greeted each other when Yin thanked her.

"Yin, I know you're feeling guilty of your crimes. Well I got to know that you lost your father a few years ago and your brothers snatched everything from you. You were in depression in those years but you still supported Xian as he was also going through the tough times that time," mumbled Mishi.

Yin looked at her with teary eyes.

"Yin, I want you to come back to us. It must be hard for you that time and I can empathise with you for that. Mark misses you a lot. Your release might happen within 3 months and I got to know that your behaviour was good too so they can release you early. Let's forget about the past and live in the present." Mishi politely said to Yin.

Yin couldn't control herself and broke down into tears. "Sorry, Mishi. I'm really sorry for doing such a thing with you. Everyone left me but Xian, Mark and you are still with me. I can't express my gratitude towards you in words." Saying this Yin again broke into tears.

Mishi smiled and told her that they are her family so she shouldn't thank her too much. They both talked for a while and then Mishi left from there.

Xian came out of the meeting room with his Secretary, Li Wei. He was discussing with him about the upcoming project when his phone buzzed. He told him to wait and took the call.

"Yes, Mishi. Are you missing me?," asked Xian and giggled. Mishi laughed from the other side of the phone.

"Yes, I missed you but not that much. Let's go on a candle light dinner tonight. I've booked the restaurant for us so I'll pick you up," mumbled Mishi.

Hearing this Xian smiled. "I always wanted to have a candle light dinner with you. Ahh...I'm So happy that my soon to be wife has already booked the restaurant and will come to pick me up." Xian said in a low voice on the phone.

"Okay. Don't get so romantic. I'm hanging up as I've a meeting. So, I will see you later. Love you," saying this Mishi hung up. Xian giggled and looked at the screen. Li Wei smiled seeing Xian.

"So, you both are finally together. It's good," muttered Li Wei. Xian turned to look at him and smiled. "It's my first dinner date with her," mumbled Xian and walked towards his office.

Xian was working on his desktop when the landline rang. He put the landline on speaker. "Hello, Mr Xian. This is Lan Zhan."

"Why are you addressing me in a formal way?," asked Xian while typing on the keyboard.

"Where were you busy? I called you a few minutes ago on your phone," mumbled Lan Zhan.

"I was on call with Mishi," answered Xian. Lan Zhan giggled hearing this. "So, you both are going on dates like a normal couple. My girlfriend is busy for a week and I don't even know when we will go out together again," murmured Lan Zhan.

"She is usually busy solving crime cases. Well, tell me why did you call?" Xian asked him.

"Umm. To tell you that there is a bail application for Bai Lao put by her lawyer," mumbled Lan Zhan. Xian stopped typing and turned his attention to the call.

"Don't worry, her bail application is rejected. Just be aware of that girl. She can do anything. She has a hand in killing Mishi's parents," muttered Lan Zhan. "Talking about that did you tell Mishi about this?," asked Lan Zhan.

"No. I'll tell her today. I know it will be hard for her but then I should tell her the truth," mumbled Xian. Lan Zhan agreed with him and hung up the call saying he has to go out for a case.

Xian laid back on his chair. "Bai Lao, you won't be able to come out. How dare you do that? I'm worried how will Mishi react when I'll tell her," murmured Xian. Xian thought for a while on this when he looked at the watch and left the office for another meeting.

Mishi was waiting outside Maximus for Xian. After five minutes Xian came there and knocked at the window. Mishi opened the window and told him to get in.

The employees who were leaving for their homes looked at them and some were giggling too. "Why are you standing here? Get into the car," muttered Mishi. Xian put his head inside the window of the driver seat and quickly gave her a light kiss on the lips.

"Xian, people are watching," mumbled Mishi. Xian smiled and said, "let them see." Mishi closed the window hearing this when Xian quickly took off his head. He went to the other side and got into the car. Xian quickly fastened his seatbelt when Mishi started the engine and drove away.

"So where are we going?," asked Xian excitedly.

"That's a surprise." Mishi answered with a smile. Xian got desperate to know the place which annoyed Mishi. "Don't be like a kid. Just look at the route and you'll know," Mishi snapped at him. Xian got quiet and laid back on the seat.

"So we are going to the restaurant where you had for the first time 'a meal of 22 cuisines'. I still remember that day," mumbled Xian and laughed.

"Yes. You asked me if I'm sure of ordering that meal. My stomach ached a lot that time." Mishi told him and they both laughed. Since it was late evening so traffic started appearing there and the road got jammed.

"This highway is always busy," murmured Mishi when Xian held her hand. Mishi immediately turned to him. "When you started working in Maximus you didn't know how to drive. You used to tie up your hair all the time but now you have changed your persona. I love you so much Mishi." Xian expressed his emotions and feelings for her.

Hearing this Mishi got overwhelmed and leaned close to him, kissed on his right cheek. She leaned back and said, "since we are on a highway so it won't be appropriate to give you a good kiss." Hearing this Xian blushed.

"When did you become so romantic?," mumbled Xian.

"Since the day I fell for you," answered Mishi and started the engine as the traffic got clear. Xian put his palms on his eyes and giggled hearing this.
