The Revenge Turned To Love

Chapter 17 - Forcefully Married

Mishi went outside to find Xian but she didn't find him anywhere. "Has he gone? It's good I don't have to marry him," mumbled Mishi in her mind when a hand surrounds her waist. She quickly turned back and saw it was Xian. His breath feels like he has drunk the liquor just now.

"Did you drink?," asked Mishi with a trembling voice.

"Yeah a little bit. Let's go. I've to give a gift to Lui Lan who's now Bai's husband," mumbled Xian with a smile.

"No, we can't go there. I mean she won't be happy seeing you," murmured Mishi and lowered her eyes. Xian pulled her up by the waist and whispered in her ear, "let's act like a sweet couple." Saying this he dragged her along with him inside the banquet.

"Xian, it's not a good idea," muttered Mishi while trying to release her grip from him.

"Mishi, don't make me angry. I've to give them a gift." Xian said in a growled voice and they reached towards the grand stage where they are thanking everyone after accepting everyone's gifts. Mishi tried to stop him but he didn't. "You told me that you won't bother Bai if I marry you," mumbled Mishi.

"I'm not bothering her. Her husband has invited me so I can't go back without even meeting them," murmured Xian and they reached near the couple. Xian walked with Mishi and congratulated Lui Lan. Hearing his voice Bai turned to him and got shocked.

"Bai, this is our soon to be business partner, Mr Xian Zhang, the CEO of Maximus," mumbled Lui Lan and shook hands with Xian. He smiled at Mishi. Bai tried to avoid him when her eyes fell on Mishi. "Mishi what are you doing with him?," asked Ani surprisingly.

"Oh! sorry, I didn't tell you. She's my soon to be wife," mumbled Xian.

"Really Mishi?? I mean you didn't tell us that day," said Lui with a smile on his lips. Bai looked at Mishi in disbelief. She then looked at Xian who has completely changed in those 6 years. "Honey, I'm coming," said Bai and held Mishi's hand.

Xian and Lui Lan looked at them.

"I don't know when we will meet, that's why I've to talk to her," murmured Bai with a smile.

"Mrs Lan, I don't think it's the right time for you to leave this stage. You both can talk later too." Xian suggested her with tears in his eyes.

"Mr Zhang, is right. Bai you can talk with her later. There are many friends of mine who want to give us their wishes," mumbled Lui. Bai didn't say anything and just stared at Mishi for a while.

They came out of the stage when Xian released Mishi. "Why did you do that?," asked Mishi.

Xian laughed slightly. "Should I explain to you that?," asked Xian and picked the drinks which were placed on the table. Mishi walked out from there in anger.

"Tossing the bouquet ceremony is the last one of today. Mishi why are you standing there, come stand with these girls." Lui Lan invited her and made her stand between the girls.

Bai smiled at them and turned her back to throw the bouquet. Mishi wasn't even interested in such a thing because she already knew that her fate was tied to Xian Zhang. The girls opened their arms to catch it but it fell over Mishi's head and she stumbled back. "Ouch", Mishi rubbed her forehead while Bai ran to her and asked if she was okay.

"Hm. I'm Okay," murmured Mishi.

"It seems next turn will be yours Mishi," mumbled Bai's mother and everybody laughed except her. After sometime she saw off her friend and walked inside the hall where Xian had told her to meet.

She looked around and found Xian was still sitting on that table, drinking the liquor. She walked to him and snatched the glass from him. "Don't drink for now. Your family is going to come in a while so it won't be good," mumbled Mishi.

"My family? What are you saying??," asked Coal and laughed.

"You said that Mark, CC, Mr Wei and your mother are coming," said Mishi in a low voice.

Xian laughed hearing this and clapped at her. He stood up from the chair. Mishi looked at him in confusion.

"Mishi, indeed we will marry today but no one is going to witness this. Your siblings are in my home as I promised but they won't come here as I told Mark that we are doing a court marriage. You think they will come to witness your marriage," mumbled Xian with his red eyes.

"Xian," shouted Mishi and slapped him. Xian grabbed her neck but released it immediately. "Let's not have a fight for now. I don't want to ruin your little happiness for now." And the next second he dragged her to the stage.

A man came there in black suit who is a lawyer and the priest also reached there. She looked around. It didn't feel at all like a marriage to her.

"Mr priest! please start the marriage ceremony," murmured Xian and looked at Mishi with hatred. They repeated the vows after the priest. But Xian in his mind took the vows of revenge and hatred with her.

"You can kiss the bride." Mishi didn't even realize when the vows ended when Xian got close to her lips but then didn't kiss her. "It's not necessary I guess," murmured Xian and stepped back.

"Mr Zhang, here sign these papers. Mrs Zhang you've to sign too," said the lawyer holding the papers. They signed on the papers and were officially married. Xian thanked the priest and the lawyer. They left from there except Mishi and Xian.

Xian went back to his table and continued drinking while Mishi was crying standing slightly far away from her. One hour passed but Xian didn't get up from the chair. Mishi gathered her courage and walked to him.

"Xian don't drink. It's not good for your health," and took the glass from him. Xian got up from the chair and took out his phone from his pocket. He talked with someone and told Mishi to follow him.

A car was standing outside the hall. Xian got into it, so did Mishi. The driver left for the 7 star hotel.

After an hour they reached the hotel.

Xian inserted the card key and they got inside the room. Xian started taking off his blazer and tie. Mishi turned her eyes down.

He started unbuttoning his shirt when Mishi said, "Why are you doing this?"

"What?," asked Xian, turning to her.

"It's not good. I mean you can't change your clothes here," whispered Mishi.

"Don't order me. Moreover, I'm your husband so it's normal you know," murmured Xian and went to the cupboard and took out a t-shirt which was already placed inside the closet. He removed his shirt and wore that T-shirt. After that he walked to the bed and laid down putting pillows behind him.

A call came to him which he answered immediately. "Hm, send that," ordered Xian on the phone. He gazed at Mishi and continued staring at her. Mishi remained standing at her place and turned her face away. She felt uncomfortable with his gaze.

After a few minutes, the doorbell rang. "Go open the door," snapped Xian at Mishi.

Mishi walked to the door and opened it. A room service provider came inside the room with liquor bottles. He put the small cart there and walked out from there. Mishi closed the door and walked inside. She saw Xian was drinking again. For a few minutes she didn't say anything but after tolerating it for a while she walked to him and snatched his glass.

"Don't do this. It's not good," said Mishi.

"Don't act like my wife," said Xian tried snatching the glass from her but Mishi took the liquor bottles from there and poured the drinks in the wash basin. Xian ran behind her but she already threw the bottles in the bin.

"Why did you do that?," asked Xian angrily.

"She's married now. Why are you hurting yourself because of that? Didn't you see her happy face there," shouted Mishi at him.

Xian grabbed her arm tightly pulling her up. " It all happened because of you. If you dare interfere in my life then I don't know what I will do to you," Xian muttered and gritted his teeth. Mishi winced in pain when he dragged her to the bed and threw her there

"What are you doing?," mumbled Mishi with a terrified look and tried running away but Xian pinned her on the bed by pressing her both arms sideways. "Get off me," said Mishi angrily.

"I'll tell you what I can do to you," murmured Xian and got close to her face but Mishi turned her head away from him. Tears started flowing from her eyes. "Don't do this. We hate each other," mumbled Mishi and closed her eyes.

Xian released her hands and got aside from her. He went to the other end of bed and laid down. Since it was a king size bed so there was quite space between them.

Mishi remained in that position for a few hours and then got up. She looked at Xian who was already asleep. She walked to the couch and laid down there with tears still flowing from her eyes.
