The Revenge Turned To Love

Lan Zhan walked to Mishi and put his hand on her shoulder. "He will be fine do not worry," said Lan Zhan, thus trying consoling her. Mishi stepped back and turned to look at Lan Zhan. While sobbing she said, "That man did this. I told Chang not to do anything and see what happened. Xian got into the accident." She was continuously crying when the doctors came out of the ICU. 

They ran towards the doctor and asked them about Xian. "Please calm down. Mr. Xian is alright. He is just unconscious. In an hour you can meet him," said one of the doctors. 

"Thank you doctor, thank you doctor," said Mishi with lowered eyes when Wan Shang came there and the doctors excused themselves. "Doctor, we can take his statements, right?" Wan Shang asked. 

"Yes after an hour. Do not stress the patient as he has injured his forehead again. I will come to examine him again then will tell you further. Please do not create crowd here as it is the hospital," stated the doctor and left from there. Wan Shang told his three colleagues to leave from there and then walked towards Mishi who was sitting on the chair, waiting to pass that one hour.

"Sorry to interrupt you but I want to say that an hour later, I will ask some questions related to the accident from Mr. Xian then you all can meet him," said Wan Shang, looking at all of them. Lan Zhan told him not to worry as he could interrogate him. He then got up from the chair and left with Wan Shang from there.

They came to the outer lobby when Lan Zhan asked him if they found the man who did this. "One person was successful to note down the number plate. So, he informed us. Police is tracking that car, do not worry," asserted Wan Shang. Biyu, Lau Lan, Mishi's uncle- aunt, Weng Wei and Chunhua all reached there. 

Biyu hugged Mishi and she started crying. "Mom, Xian is alright. Do not cry. He is fine, the doctor said a few minutes ago," stated Mishi. Pulling away she wiped off the tears from Biyu's face and told her to sit. Weng Wei brought slippers for Mishi and told her to wear them. Mishi thanked him and looked from the window, if Xian was awake or not.

A nurse came out of the ICU and told them patient is being shifted to the other room. So, they needed to wait there for patient to wake up. As he was shifted there, they all waited for Xian to gain consciousness. An hour later, the nurse who was assisting Xian called the doctor. The doctor after examining told Wan Shang that he could interrogate them. 

Wan Shang went inside the room and greeted Xian who was in half lying position on the bed. His forehead was wrapped with the bandage and hand has gotten a plaster on it. "How are you feeling, Mr. Xian?" asked Wan Shang.

"Good," muttered Xian in a low voice. 

"Good to hear. Well, Mr. Xian, I am going to ask a few questions from you. It will help in the case," said Wan Shang and sat on the chair beside the bed. Xian nodded when Wan Shang started asking the questions from him. Xian gave him the answers in his best way. Noting down them, he thanked Xian for the cooperation and told him to recover fast. Xian thanked him.

As Wan Shang came out, he told the others that they can go in. Lan Zhan told Wan Shang that he would come in a while. They went inside the room. Biyu had tears in her eyes and lightly hugged Xian. "Why do you drive like this? Hire a driver for you," said Biyu.

"Mom, do not worry. These are just minor injuries," mumbled Xian, looking at his plastered hand. 

"You always make us frightened, Xian," said Lau Lan. 

"Sorry, it will not happen again. By the way where is Mishi?" Xian asked.

"She is angry at you so refused to meet you," said Lan Zhan with a tiny smile. 

Xian got worried hearing that, when the nurse came there. "Please do not create crowd around the patient. You all should go out as you have seen the patient," said the nurse and put the medicines she had brought on the table there.

"I did not even meet my wife. Can she stay here?" Xian asked.

"Yes, only one member at a time," replied the nurse. 

"Mom, I am alright. CC, I am fine so do not cry. Send your sister in as I have something to tell her," said Xian with a smile. They all got shocked when Xian told Chang- Chunhua as CC. 

"Brother is your memory returned?" asked Chang.

"Yes," Xian answered with a wide smile. They all got happy and told Mishi's uncle- aunt to go home and not to worry more about him. They all smiled and walked out of the room. 

"Mishi, your husband is waiting for you. Go in," said Lau Lan with a smile. Biyu told Mishi to take care of him. Mishi nodded and went inside the room. As the door was pushed, Xian immediately closed his eyes, pretending he was in sleep. Mishi looked at the injured forehead and hand of Xian. She put her palm over her mouth as she started crying. 

Xian when did not feel anyone near him for 5 minutes, he opened his eyes and saw Mishi was crying seeing him silently. "Mishi," murmured Xian. "Do not cry. I am fine," said Xian further. Mishi turned back thus her back was facing Xian. She wiped off her tears and remained like that for few more minutes. Xian did not say anything as he wanted Mishi to calm down on her own. When she stopped crying, she turned back and walked to him.

"You like to make me cry," said Mishi and before Xian could answer, Mishi hugged him. She was sitting on the edge of bed, her hands wrapped around Xian's neck lightly. A smile carved on Xian's lips and he caressed her head from the other hand. "Sorry, to make you worry. Do not cry because it is giving me more than these wounds," asserted Xian.

Mishi pulled away when Xian wiped the tears off her face from his free hand. "I love you," said Xian with a warm smile. Mishi smiled hearing that. "You always think of being romantic," muttered Mishi and was going to get up when Xian held her hand, thus preventing her from standing up.

"I am saying I love you so you should said the same to me and then give your husband a kiss, He survives an-" He did not complete his words when Mishi brushed her lips against him. Her eyes were closed and she started kissing him. Xian smiled and was going to reciprocate to her kiss when Mishi pulled away. 

"I did not even kiss you back," mumbled Xian when Mishi said, "you do not know how scared I was when I heard that you – you got into the accident." Xian apologized from her and told her that he wanted to tell something to her.

"What?" Mishi asked, looking into his eyes. 

"That your love always protects me. I have recalled everything. My memories are back," said Xian with a smile. Mishi smiled back and then stood up. "Take rest and do not talk too much. I want my husband to get an expeditious recovery," asserted Mingmei. 

"Earlier doctor told me that he will discharge me in the evening. Then you have to take care of you me," stated Xian. Mishi nodded with a smile and told him to close his eyes and take some sleep.

Chang was in the car with Xu Tang and Lan Zhan. "So, Gan Dewei threatened you before taking such a step," muttered Lan Zhan.

"Yes, that is why I told you to take back the complaint. I even went to the court then to dismiss the case against him. But he attacked brother Xian," stated Chang worriedly. 

"He is abusing the powers of his father. What to do?" asked Lan Zhan.

"Nothing, brother, I cannot do anything. What if he will harm anyone of you next time?" Chang muttered.

"What about Ru Shi whose case you are handling? You have to tell her that you cannot fight anymore," said Xu Tang who was driving the car.

"Hmm. I will tell her. I cannot take risk to let hurt my closed ones. She can hire the other lawyer," said Chang. Lan Zhan nodded and said, "I told you this thing even before you started. But it is good now. Nothing will happen now as you have backed off," said Lan Zhan.

"Sisi was crying so much. I never once was feared this much. For a second I thought I indeed did a huge mistake," murmured Chang and then looked out of the window of the car.
