The Revenge Turned To Love

Mishi told Xian to get some sleep when he said, "I was sleeping I guess. Now, I do not want to. I want to tell you many things which will help you in gaining your memories back." Mishi was peeling apple for Xian; smiled and asked, "What do you want to tell?"

"Do you know how I proposed you?" Xian questioned, looking at Mishi. Mishi put the knife on the plate and then looked into Xian's eyes. "Give me your hand. Left hand," said Xian. 

"Why?" Mishi asked.

"Just forward your left hand," Xian again asserted. Mishi wiped her hand from the cloth and then forwarded her hand. Xian grabbed it and then caressed it. "We were lying under the night sky in a garden, you beside me, doing the star gazing. Then I told you even if you and I will be light years apart, I will find you every time because of the light (which is your heart) of my star (which is you)," asserted Xian, pointing his finger towards her heart.

"So, this which the memory which I got when I was lying on the grassy floor. I could not able to see your face," murmured Mishi with a tiny smile.

"See, even your heart is connected with me. Our love is indeed strong. Your father always wanted you to marry me. Do you know?" Xian inquired. Mishi shook her head in refusal.

"I told you before that your father knew me. He was the one who helped me in business," muttered Xian. "He told me one day that he has a daughter who when turn to marriageable age will marry me. Because of our destiny, we both met and then fell in love," he further added with a smile. His free hand was still caressing Mishi's left hand.

Mishi got teary eyed looking at him. She then slightly rose up from the chair and then leaned closer to his lips with her closed eyes. Xian also closed his eyes as he felt the touch of Mishi's lips on his. They were ready to give a long kiss to each other when the door was pushed and Mark came in. "Sorry," mumbled Mark when Mishi and Xian opened their eyes. Immediately Mishi stepped back and turned to look while Xian tilted his head slightly.

"Xian, how are you?" asked Mark and walked towards him from the other side of the bed. He hugged Xian tightly. "Are you okay?" Mark questioned again.

"Why you and Lan Zhan come at wrong time?" mumbled Xian and then said, "Yes, I am good." Mark pulled away and then looked at Xian entirely. Yin too came inside and saw Xian. "Xian, we were scared," murmured Yin.

"There is nothing to scare about. I am fine," replied Xian with a gentle smile. Yin hugged Mishi and then told her to give Xian a nice beating as he always made her worry. Mishi nodded when Xian asked, "Is you honeymoon over?"

"Xian, we came running here as Lan Zhan told us. I was scared. Mishi are you fine?" Mark then asked and went to her. Hugging her he said, "you must be worried seeing him like that. He is fine. Do not worry too much." He was at the same time caressing her head. Mishi felt good hearing that when Xian told them to go home. 

"I should present here with you," stated Mark. "Mishi you can go home and take some rest," said Mark. 

Xian looked at Mark with a shocking expression. "What are you saying, Mark? Mishi will be with me as she has to take care of her husband. You two go from here," muttered Xian. Mark understood him while Mishi smiled hearing that.

"Let your wife rest. Where will she sleep?" Yin said in a teasing tone. Xian gestured towards the bed but then he said, "go, go. You two have seen me now go home. I have to eat fruits. Go now." They all laughed seeing his reactions. 

"Yes, we are going. Mishi, will you able to take care of him? I think I should-" Xia cut Mark's words and said, "there is no need to stay with me. You two should go home. I will be discharged in the evening, the doctor has said."

"Then I think I should stay here. Let me handle those formalities and then after dropping you two to the apartment, I will leave," asserted Mark. Mishi agreed with him so was Yin Mei. Xian laughed slightly and glared at Mark. 

"Yin, I will see you off till the taxi. Let's go then," said Mark and stepped forward when Yin told him that she would leave. Still, Mark went with her and told Xian- Mishi that he was coming in a while. As they went out, Xian looked at Mishi. "Give me the kiss that you were going to give earlier," stated Xian.

"Wh- what?" mumbled Mishi and then almost sat on the chair when Xian pulled her towards him such that her back touch his front. "Xian, you again started," murmured Mishi.

"Let's be like this for a while. I am feeling good," muttered Xian and closed his eyes. 

"Xian, this is hospital. Earlier Mark saw us. What if someone else-" Mishi could not complete her words as Xian kissed her earlobe. "Xian," whispered Mishi and then said, "Don't. Mark is coming." 

"He will not come so soon. I am not doing anything," muttered Xian. Mishi did not say anything and stayed in that position for a while. "Should I get up now?" Mishi asked. 

Xian raised his head and said, "Yes you can but give me a kiss." Mishi turned her head to look at him and kissed him quickly when Xian locked his hand in Mishi's hair thus not letting her go. They both smiled while kissing each other.

Ru Shi after completing her work went to the court to meet Chang. As she got inside his cabinet, she saw he was talking with someone on the phone. She stepped back and almost closed the door when Chang gestured her to come in. Ru Shi nodded and then entered in, closed the door behind her. 

Chang gestured her to sit on the chair there. Ru Shi got seated on the chair and waited for his call to end. After 10 minutes when the call ended Chang asked her if she wanted something to drink. But she politely refused and asked him about the case. 

Chang clasped his fingers together and said, "Ru Shi, I wanted to fight this case but something happened. Gan Dewei did accident of my sister's husband. I do not think I should fight the case. He almost killed him. You also should leave this behind and live your life." 

Ru Shi could not believe her ears. "How can you step back? You assured me and I told you everything. I am sorry that he did that but should you not do something about this? He killed my father, Mr. Lawyer. He was the only one in my life and I want to give him the justice so that his soul can rest in peace," asserted Ru Shi with teary eyes. 

"But Ru Shi he is quite powerful than us. What if he will harm anyone of us again? What will you do?" Chang questioned.

"It does not matter even if he kill me. I understand that you cannot fight for this case. I know family is important but I do not have anyone. I will fight against him on my own. Thank you for the things you did earlier," said Ru Shi, got up from the chair and left the cabinet. Chang felt not only bad but at the same time was filled with guilty.

"I am stuck," murmured Chang and then looked at the photo of his parents' which was placed on the desk. "Dad, my hands are tied. Do you think I should go for it?" Chang mumbled looking at the photo. 

Ru Shi on the other hand was asking from other lawyers if they could help her but everyone was refusing. She got a call from her employer from her workplace who told her that she should look for other job as he could not pay her. She pleaded him not to do so but her employer did not agree. She hung up the call and looked the sky. "Mom- dad, everything will be fine. I will make everything right," murmured Ru Shi.

She started walking towards the bus stand when a black van stopped before him. Before she could react, she was being pulled by a hand from inside the van. Her phone fell on the ground there and it drove away from there.

Chang on the other hand was staring at the photo of his parents. "I think I should fight. When you both were murdered, no one helped us. The reason I became lawyer because of this reason only," asserted Chang. A smile carved on his lips and then he called someone.
