The Revenge Turned To Love

Zhu Rui smiled. "Indeed, I wanted to see but not anymore. Get aside. I have many works to do," stated Zhu Rui.

Zhao stood up and went towards the sleeper sofa there. He picked his t-shirt and wore it. He took a step when he felt Zhu Rui's hands around his belly and her head was rested on his back. "Zhu, what are you doing?" Zhao asked.

"Giving a back hug to my husband. He needs this to feel good. Mishi told me that Chang is trying to talk to mom so, she will be brought out of the jail soon," Zhu Rui asserted.

"Mom confessed in front of my eyes that she knew it all along. It all started with her revenge. Let's do not ever talk about that," Zhao requested her. Zhu Rui released her arms from around his belly and pulled back.

Zhao turned to look at her and spoke, "Her eyes… I read them. A child can see through his mother just like she can for her child. She does not even regret it. Do you know, why?" Zhao asked Zhu Rui who shook her head in refusal.

"Because she still thinks that Aunt Biyu played with her feelings. S-she thinks that whatever she had done was good. She wanted to destroy aunt Biyu's family by taking away Xian from her life. Thanks to his father everything was prevented but, in that process my mother destroyed her own life." Zhu Rui noticed the tears in Zhao's eyes. She understood the pain Zhao was experiencing.

She lifted her hand and placed it on Zhao's cheek. "I know if I will say not to think about that, you will not able to do that. So, it is better to find a solution rather than getting tensed because of that. Shall we not think from her perspective? She might have feel dejected that time and took such a big step. Let's say she is just like your father but, then she told aunt Biyu to take care of her son because she knows that you have started despising her.

Your mother has realized that's why she refuted to meet you because she is unable to meet the eyes with her son which is more than her life. Try meeting her alone and I believe you will get the answers," Zhu Rui made Zhao understand.

Zhao blinked his eyes but, did not say anything. We could he say at that moment? He had lost the words for his mother's crime already. Zhu Rui put h3r hand down and told Zhao that he should freshen up. "The clothes are already in the bathroom closet," said Zhu Rui and went towards the bed.

Zhao turned and went to the washroom.

On the breakfast table, everyone was chit chatting as they were waiting for Biyu and Shui Zhang to come there. As soon as they entered, everyone's gazes turned to them.

"Dad, you are looking charming that's why mom fell for you," Lan Zhan with a teasing tone said. Everyone started laughing.

"Your mother looks charming that's why I fell for you. You shall say the opposite," stated Shui Zhang and looked at Biyu who spoke, "You are old. How could you speak things like this?"

"Mom, let dad say. It is good to hear that he admires you so much. It is said that the older you get, the stronger your bond becomes. I can see that in you two that's why after so many obstacles you are reunited again," Lan Zhan delightfully said.

"Mom-dad, please sit on the chairs. Dad, this is your place," Mishi spoke and took them to the main chairs on the breakfast table. Shui was feeling overwhelming after sitting with his family. Biyu sat on his left side. Yin Mei and Mishi then started serving breakfast to everyone on the table.

"Mishi, let me help as well," Zhu Rui offered her help.

"No. Start eating before it gets cold," Mishi stated and went to uncle Xiao Long who thanked Mishi.

Suddenly Shui Zhang started speaking. Everyone looked at him. "I met Mishi a few months ago when she helped me getting the treatment after I got a hit. That day was a fated day because I finally found out that Xian and Biyu are having a good life. I always was worried about Xian as he was a tough child. But, when met you, I was relieved that Xian got a woman like Biyu. Yes, you are like Biyu," Shui stated and then looked at Biyu. "Am I right?" Shui asked Biyu.

"Yes. The first time I met Mishi, I saw my reflection in her," Biyu agreed with her husband's statement.

"Mom-dad, that was a big compliment. Thank you," Mishi said softly. "Please continue eating, everyone," Mishi asserted and then told Yin Mei to take the seat. Mishi too sat beside her and everyone enjoyed breakfast together. 

After everyone was done eating, Mishi told Biyu that Xian had told them to come to office. "Why so?" Biyu asked. 

"Dad has never seen the company. So, Xian and Mark wants you two to come there. I will take you there after an hour. Be ready," Mishi told Biyu who agreed to her. Mishi took her leave as she had some work in the kitchen. 

She saw Zhu Rui and Yin Mei were talking with each other. "What are you two talking without me?" Mishi asked with a smile and joined them. 

"Mishi, I was telling her about my love story with Mark," Yin Mei asserted. 

Mishi nodded. "So, Mark loved you since high school days but because you are infatuated towards Xian so, he never confessed but secretly supported you. It is wonderful," Zhu Rui said with an astonishment. 

"Mark is the most patient guy, I have ever seen," Mishi asserted. 

"He did not stop his love even after I…I" Yin Mei stopped speaking as her eyes got teary. Mishi patted her back. "I tried harming Mishi. He was angry at me but, he never stopped his love for me. They say that villains also get second chance and indeed it is true. I got the second chance and I am really blessed that I have Mark as my husband," Yin Mei pronounced with a broad smile. 

"Zhao is nothing like that," Zhu Rui with a dejected look said and took a deep sigh. "I do not know if he will ever start loving me or not," Zhu Rui said. 

"Do not try too hard. Zhao loves you that's why he is with you. Give things time. Let him do things for you as well," Mishi suggested Zhu Rui. Yin Mei agreed with Zhu Rui. 

Lan Zhan who had entered the kitchen at the moment, heard Zhu Rui and suggested, "Sister Zhu, why do you not let him do things for you rather than you doing things for him?"

"What are you trying to say? I didn't get," Zhu Rui befuddled. 

"What I mean is make Zhao understand your worth. You have to make him realize that without you he is incomplete," Lan Zhan proclaimed. Zhu Rui nodded but she was still confused. 

"Okay, today we are going today out for the family dinner. After dinner will be over, you two have to separate your ways from us. In short, spend time with him. I don't think he doesn't like you. It is just he doesn't know that he loves you," Lan Zhan pronounced. 

"Lan Zhan advices are the best. So, today after dinner act like you are angry at him and then he will take you somewhere good place," Yin Mei asserted. 

"I wonder that would be possible because it does not matter to him even if I get angry," Zhu Rui stated and scratched her head. 

"Then make him realize that he shall care for you the same way you care for him," Lau Lan who was standing near the door, spoke. 

They all turned their gazes him. "How?" Zhu Rui asked. 

"Ahh, this woman!!" Lan Zhan muttered. 

"Be like my Mei Fen. She beats pulp out of me if I ever ignore her. Well, I love that. Mishi you did same to Xian once. Remember that time when Lau Lan and I were used to live with you two. Haha, Xian had injured his back that day and foot too," Lan Zhan said and started laughing. 

"Lan Zhan, I was childish that time. Xian was hurt really bad that time. Don't do that," Mishi advised Zhu Rui who agreed to her. 

"Zhao has the personality who does not get attracted to people easily. Just act naturally, Zhu Rui. Since it's a tough time for him so, why do you not take him somewhere out and try diverting his mind. But then do not do too much. Go to the places where mostly couples go and then make him see those couples. How the treat their partners etc. He will definitely start realizing," Lau Lan advised Zhu Rui. 

"You did a complete research on Zhao in just a day. I am amazed," Lan Zhan amusingly said. 

"I am a psychologist for a reason," Lau Lan and encouraged Zhu Rui again who nodded. "I will do that. Thank you to you all," Zhu Rui stated. 

"Don't say us thanks.. We are a family and it's our duty to help each other," Lan Zhan stated and smiled along with the others.
