The Revenge Turned To Love

Mishi took Shui Zhang and Biyu Zhang to Maximus. Xian and Mark gave them the tour of Maximus while Mishi was in Xian's office cabinet, waiting for him. An hour later, Xian came there, seeing whom Mishi stood up from the sofa. 

"I sent a driver to drop them home," Xian stated as he came towards Mishi. 

"Have a seat. Where's Mark? I have brought this lunch for him," Mishi asserted as she looked towards the door. Xian went towards his desk and called to someone. A minute later, a woman came inside and greeted both of them. "Sir, you called me?" the woman asked, keeping the smile on her lips. 

"Yes, Miss Yang. Please give this lunch box to Mark," Xian stated as he picked the lunch box from the table and forwarded it to Xiu Yang who grabbed it. Mishi noticed that how she touched Xian's hand intentionally and passing smile to him. "Why are you still here? Please leave, Miss Yang," Mishi sternly said. 

Xian gawked at Mishi amusingly. As Xiu Yang walked out from there, Xian turned to Mishi. "What happened? You seem jealous," Xian asked, and chuckled. 

Mishi twitched her lips. "When did you hire female secretaries? I was the first and only female secretary you had but, you hired her?" Mishi demanded an answer. "I saw how you were smiling in front of him," Mishi spoke and crossed her arms. 

Xian smiled, seeing the reactions of Mishi. "Li Wei is on leave for a few days. That's why Miss Yang is working for me," Xian asserted and back hugged Mishi. Mishi pushed him away by hitting her elbow against Xian's stomach, but Xian did not budge. 

"You could have called me and told me you need a secretary. There is much other executive staff, you could have picked a Male Secretary from them or you could have asked me to be your secretary," Mishi suggested to Xian. 

"I do not want you to take a load of my work. Miss Yang mostly checks the work after Li Wei so, I thought to make her my temporary secretary," Xian told Mishi and then made her turn to look at him. 

"What do you want to speak about the broad smile on your lips as soon as you saw her?" Mishi questioned. 

"You are the reason for my smile. You came here after such a long time, that's why I was smiling," Xian answered and planted a soft kiss on Mishi's forehead. 

Mishi smiled. "I saw she was touching your hand intentionally," Mishi spoke and made a pout. 

"You are thinking too much. Come have a seat and let's have our lunch," proclaimed Xian as he made Mishi sit on the sofa there. Xian opened the lunch box and gave one chopstick pair to Mishi. 

"It looks delicious," Xian stated and told Mishi to start. The two started eating while talking with each other. As they were done eating, Xian told Mishi, "My today's work is over. Let's go to pick up Sam."

"Hmm okay," Mishi agreed with Xian. Mishi put the lunch box inside the jute carry bag and then stood up from the sofa along with Xian. "Oh, I have to meet Yuwan as well. So, you just pick up Sam. I will come later," Mishi asserted.

"Why today? Meet tomorrow," Xian told Mishi.

"Tomorrow I am busy as Mei Fen coming and I have to make a wedding plan for them," proclaimed Mishi. Xian gave a nod. "Did they decide on the wedding date?" Xian queried Mishi.

"They will tonight when we will go out for the family dinner," Mishi answered. Xian shook his head in agreement. "Then Valentine's week will come and we two will fly out of Beijing for our Honeymoon," Xian asserted with a smirk.

Mishi passed him a smile, too. "My dear husband is excited about that," Mishi spoke as she adjusted Xian's tie. Xian smiled when Mishi kissed him on the cheek and hugged him tightly. "Everything is turning good. We have a tiny family now as well," Mishi spoke. Her head was rested on Xian's chest. Xian put his hand on her hair and caressed them.

Xian dropped Mishi at Yuwan's company's front gate and drove to Samuel's school. Mishi walked in and told the receptionist about her meeting with Yuwan. "Ma'am, please take the VIP elevator. Sir is free at this moment," the receptionist told Mishi after talking on the phone. 

Mishi thanked her and went to Yuwan's cabinet. Pushing the door in, she saw Yuwan was working. "May I come in?" Mishi asked in her soft voice. Yuwan lifted his eyes, and a smile carved on his lips. "Come," Yuwan spoke and stood up from the swivel chair.

He came to Mishi and shook hands with her. "Come, make yourself comfortable first," Yuwan told Mishi, gesturing to the settee there. They both got seated on it. Yuwan offered Mishi a glass of water. "Thank you." Mishi took the glass and drank the water.

Putting the glass on the table, Mishi asked Yuwan about Xia. "She is good," Yuwan asserted.

"I checked on Hu Shen," Yuwan pronounced.

"What did you find out?" Mishi asked.

"He was stalking on you for a long time," Yuwan replied. Mishi knitted her brows. "He was indeed in the Netherlands, but he sent a private detective to check on you. He found out about your struggling state and had decided to come here. But his father got Cancer at that time so, for three years he could not focus here as his father's health was degrading.

Once his father recovered, he resumed that work. But then he found out that you were married to Xian. He wanted to destroy Xian's company at that instant only but, for you, he stopped. Then, you and Xian got injured heavily on the day of the accident so, he invested at that time using a third person as stalk prices fell a lot," Yuwan pronounced.

"How did you find out about this?" Mishi questioned Yuwan.

"Does that matter?" Yuwan asked.

"Indeed," replied Mishi.

"Actually, I have heard his name somewhere. After searching a lot, I recalled he has a close friend who is also a friend of mine and he is a private detective. I found out from there," Yuwan briefed Mishi.

"Hu Shen is still planning," Yuwan told Mishi.

"Then, what shall I do? If I will tell Xian then, he will get aggressive. He might go and give Hu Shen a beating which I do not want because it will increase problems only," Mishi anxiously said.

"Talk with Hu Shen. Tell him that you are way ahead in your life and now there's no meaning to look for you," Yuwan suggested.

"What if he blackmails me? I am concerned about my family as well," Mishi proclaimed.

"I will go with you. Sometimes, things get clear by conversing. Hu Shen is a brainy guy so, he will understand," Yuwan stated.

"I thought same for Bai Lao. But, you see what she did? It was okay when she harmed me but the second time, she also involved Xian in that. Those memories are horrible. And, now I have a son as well. I cannot risk his life," Mishi worriedly spoke.

"Bai Lao's case is distinct. Talking is the only way. Nothing will happen to your family. I assure you," Yuwan asserted with a tiny smile on his lips.

"So, when will we go to meet him?" Mishi asked.

"Right now. I am free today and the early you will end this, the better it will be," Yuwan advised Mishi who shook her head in agreement. They both stood up from the settee. Yuwan buttoned his blazer and told Mishi to follow him.

The two were now in the parking. Yuwan started the engine and drove to Hu Shen's home. "Is he not in the office?" Mishi queried Yuwan.

"No. I confirmed that for a few days he is at his house and his parents are not here," Yuwan replied. He sped up the car's speed.

"You found out many things about him," Mishi muttered.

"I have connections," Yuwan answered.

After an hour, they reached the house of Hu Shen. They stepped down from the car. Yuwan told the security to tell Hu Shen that they had come to meet him. The security guard told them to wait there. After a few minutes, he opened the door for them. Mishi and Yuwan walked inside the gate towards the mansion.

Reaching inside the house, Mishi and Yuwan saw Hu Shen was seated on a large couch in the center of the living room. Seeing them, he stood up and gave a smile to Mishi. "Please have a seat," Hu Shen told Mishi and Yuwan who was seated on the sofa.

"What would you like to take? Tea or coffee?" Hu Shen asked.

"Nothing. I am here to talk to you," Mishi replied.

"You told me that you will never come here," Hu Shen asserted and looked for an answer.
