The Revenge Turned To Love

In the morning Xian's sleep got disturbed by the ringing volume of his phone. He didn't open his eyes and answered the call by taking out the phone from his pocket.

"Where are you Xian? I went to the bar but you weren't there," questioned Mark. Xian opened his eyes and found himself in a different place. He hung up his phone and held his head. "It's aching but where am I?" Xian muttered. He then looked around and his eyes fell on Mishi who was sitting on the floor with her head on her knees. He recalled the incident of last night and remembered that he was kissing someone. "No, it can't be...." murmured Xian.

He immediately got up from the sofa and walked to her, placing his hand on her shoulder and whispered her name. "Mishi".

Mishi opened her eyes and got terrified of seeing him. "Please don't do anything to me. I...I…," stammered Mishi and broke into tears.

"Please forgive me. I wasn't in my right mind last night," Xian apologized for his wrong behavior last night with Mishi when his eyes fell on Mishi's wounded hand. 

"Please go away from here before anyone can see us," said Mishi in a frightened voice.

"Your hand is injured," Xian worriedly said. Mishi didn't pay any heed to her hand. "I don't know what wrong I did to you that you did that to me. Please go away from here." Mishi requested from him and wiped her tears off.

Hearing this, Xian walked away from there without saying anything. He booked a taxi for his home and after that, he made a call to his secretary, Li Wei,  telling him to come to Mishi's house with a doctor. The taxi reached there in 15 minutes and he got into it, leaving for his home.

"Where were you last night?" asked Mark looking in disbelief at Xian.

"I was somewhere. You don't need to know," answered Xian and then recalled the last night incident. He was feeling guilty but he didn't show it to Mark.

"Did you go behind her?" Mark queried, looking into Xian's eyes.

"W-What? Why would I?" Xian exclaimed and took out an outfit for him from the cupboard. "I'm going to take a bath. Let's talk later." Saying this Xian left for the washroom.

In the washroom, Xian was thinking of the sight of Mishi. Her hand was bleeding and above all, he threw himself on her. He punched at the wall and closed the shower. "I shouldn't think about this. I wasn't in my right mind," mumbled Xian.

But his inner voice is saying something else. "How could you do this to a girl? How? Go and ask for forgiveness from her and stop bothering her."

On the other hand, his mind is saying something else. "She deserves this. She made your life miserable and you did right. She should know where to interfere and where not to."

He went inside the bathtub and kept on thinking about last night's event.

Mishi freshened up before her siblings could look at her condition. She was cleaning the cleaning room when the doorbell rang. "Why is he here? I won't open the door," Mishi told herself. The doorbell rang again but she again did not open the door.

"Miss Xin, I'm Xian Zhang's personal Secretary, Li Wei. Please open the door as I've brought the doctor with me for your treatment." Li Wei politely said this loud enough that Mishi could hear. Mishi walked towards the door and saw two men.

"I don't need treatment. I'll go to the nearby clinic," mumbled Mishi and was going to close the door when the doctor said, "Miss Xin, it seems it's not cleaned properly. It can get infected. Let me treat it." Mishi looked at her hand.

"Miss Xin, my boss will get angry at me if the doctor brought by me won't treat you. He might fire me." Li Wei expressed his concern. Mishi agreed with him and let them get inside.

The doctor treated her wound and gave her the antiseptic which she has to apply twice a day. She thanked them. "Please pass this message to your boss that he shouldn't interfere in my life," Mishi explained to them politely. The Secretary nodded and left the house with the doctor.

Mishi looked at her hand and thought. "Why was he saying that I did wrong with him. I don't even know him," murmured Mishi when her phone rang and it was of Zhao. "Mishi, get ready because we're going somewhere. I'm coming there in 30 minutes and be ready by then." Saying this he cut the call before Mishi could say something.

She got ready on Zhao's instruction. After waiting for 10 minutes Zhao called her to come downstairs. She locked the door and walked down.

"Where are we going?" asked Mishi curiously.

"To the park for a picnic. Chunhua wants to go there and mom too," replied Zhao and started his scooter. "Hold me tight else you'll fall."

"Drive safely," Mishi told Zhao while putting her hands on his shoulders.

"We enjoyed last night. Everyone missed you. Chunhua and Chang then started fighting during the cake cutting. In anger, Chunhua threw the entire cake at Chang and then you know," stated Zhao while laughing.

"Why do they always fight?" Mishi sometimes could not understand them.

"Love. Twins Love" remarked Zhao. "By the way, you wore the dress I gifted you last year on Christmas. Are you telling me that you love me?" asked Zhao and then giggled.

Mishi hit him at the shoulder and said, "you like to tease me. Keep your eyes on the road."

"What happened to your hand?" asked Zhao with a worried look.

"Oh! I fell in the restaurant on the stairs," lied Mishi.

"Is it hurting?" asked Zhao.

"What kind of question are you asking? Of course, it's hurting," told Mishi. Zhao then said, "you can share that pain with me. I can take care of that."

"Eh....you don't need to do that." Mishi rejected him politely. After an hour they reached the park.

"Where are they?" Mishi questioned looking around.

Zhao told Mishi to follow him and they further went inside the park. She saw Chunhua, Chang, and Zhao's mom (Wi Fei) near the lake, left Zhao's hand, and ran there. Mishi went near her and greeted her.

"Hello aunty....how are you?" asked Mishi from aunt Fei.

"I'm good. You're looking pretty. Here sit beside me," stated aunt Fei gesturing towards the seat beside her.

"Sisi, what happened to your hand?" asked Chang holding Mishi's hand.

"Ah....it's nothing," Mishi told Chang and caressed his head.

"Sorry I couldn't make it last night," Mishi said with an apologetic look.

"It's okay, Sisi. You already made the cake for us," said Chunhua with a smile.

"I loved that pastry which you left for me in the fridge," mumbled Mishi with a smile. Zhao came there and sat beside Chang. They talked with each other, played some games and ate the food with each other till the evening.

"We've to go home," Mishi told them.

"Sisi, we're going to aunt's home," insisted Chunhua and held Aunt Fei's arm. Wi Fei smiled and said, "let's go home for today with us Mishi."

"I wanted to but, I have some work so I'm not able to come," Mishi asserted and twitched her lips.

"Sisi, it's fine. We will go some other day," Chang supported his sister.

"I have got an idea. You both should go to your aunt's home. I'll come to pick you up at noon." Mishi told them and they agreed on it.

"Mom I'll drop Mishi home," Zhao told his mother when Mishi said that she will go by herself and he didn't have to worry.

"Sisi, go with brother Zhao. I will take aunt and Chun home." Chang told his sister. Mishi smiled and said, "Okay. Take care of both of them."

"I've booked the taxi. I'll see you off to the taxi outside the park." Zhao told them and told Mishi to wait there. He came after 5 minutes to Mishi who was sitting beneath a tree with her face towards the lake. Zhao took place beside her.

"What happened?" asked Zhao looking at Mishi.

"I'm just thinking if I can give everything to them," Mishi said with a frown. Zhao held her hands and said, "Why are you burdening yourself then? I want to do everything for you and CC. In a few weeks, I'm going to open a restaurant near Maximus."

"What do you mean?" asked Mishi with astonishment.

"I thought to surprise you. I've bought a good place near Maximus for the restaurant. Mishi let me take care of you all. You know my feelings for you." Mishi took her hands back from his. "Zhao you know that I can't be in a relationship. I've to look after my siblings."

"I know. That's why I decided that you all will live with me. Mom was also happy after I told her about this," Zhao explained to Mishi.

"Zhao, but I only see you as a friend." Mishi tried to make him understand.

"Let's date for a month. If your feelings don't change in that period then I will give up on you." Zhao assured Mishi.

"Zhao, I don't have any job right now. So I don't think we should date. Let me find a job first." Mishi tried to escape from his proposal.

"Mishi, I can take care of that thing too. My restaurant is going to open and you can work with me. Don't think I'm doing this so that you can date me...Nah, I'm hiring you because you're good at work," stated Zhao with a smile. Mishi smiled at him too.

Mishi lowered her eyes as Zhao was staring at her. She then tried to change the topic when Zhao pulled her chin to meet his gaze. "I'll wait for your response Mishi".

She blinked her eyes and was going to say something when Zhao kissed her cheek. Zhao then leaned back and said, "I won't kiss you on the lips until you tell me about your feelings".

Xian and his mother were also in the park. His mom insisted on him taking her to the park so he had to come. They were walking in the park when his mom saw Mishi and Zhao holding each other's hands.

"Son, look over that couple. They seem so much in love. You should also start dating too," mumbled Biyu.

Xian turned his gaze to the couple and was shocked to see Mishi. Numerous thoughts started running in his mind. He clenched his fist in anger.

"How can she be happy after throwing me to hell. I thought I did wrong to her but no, I was wrong. She's a crafty and selfish girl who knows how to lure everyone around her. She lost her job and instead of apologizing to me, she went on a date. The smile she's showing, it's hurting me because this girl deserves no happiness. Bai isn't with me because of her and now I won't let her be in peace. I want her to beg in front of me."

Such thoughts were running in Xian's mind when her mom touched his shoulder, " What happened? Let's go home."
