The Sharingan Hyuga

Shuichi looked at Naruto, "ever since he was born, did you even spend time with him and be a good father to him? Even since the war, you were always busy with missions due to the lack of shinobi and an enormous amount of missions piled up.

That can be understood but what about after becoming Hokage. It's even hard for you to see him once a week, isn't it? You practically spend your whole time in the office.

Ever thought how would your kids feel and how would Hinata feel?. Can't you just take a break once in a while and leave the work for your shadow clones like now?".

Naruto sighed and didn't reply anything after being lectured by Shuichi.

Shuichi then said, "oh, by the way, the eye that Boruto talks about is not Byakugan but is something else". His words surprised three of them and they looked at him for further explanation.

Shuichi continued, "Boruto doesn't have fate with Byakugan mainly because he got his traits from you, unlike Himawari who got hers from Hinata. That's why he has large reserves like you. As for the eye, I was the one who gave it to him and changed his fate a little bit.

But the Boruto now don't have the right to possess it yet. So, keep it as a secret for now and wait until the time comes".

Amegakure,

The leader in the middle spoke, "we've now all of the smaller nations under our control. I think its time for the New Akatsuki made its presence in the world".

Another one replied, "but as long as those three from konoha are alive, we can't break down the Alliance and bring the five hidden villages to knees".

The leader then said, "we don't need to worry about Konoha. Someone else will take care of them. As they were busy with Konoha, we'll take down Iwagakure first with my new weapons".

Inside the hood, his eyes were glowing with red pupils and three tomoe.

Next day at the academy,

Boruto tells Shikadai and Mitsuki that he will not be able to prove that he has awakened the Byakugan but he will continue to look for a way to make everyone believe him.

Later, Shino gathers everyone in the academy grounds and announced, "everyone, listen carefully. Since you will all graduate in a couple of years, it's time for you have some work experience".

As everyone wondered what it was, he continued, "everyone forms a team of three and work together. It's up to you to choose the team members as well as the occupation".

Boruto, Shikadai, and Mitsuki formed a group and chose Post office and decided to deliver mails. Ichiyama Hyuga grouped with Hokane Hatake, daughter of the previous Hokage, Kakashi, and Shizune; Tahara Inuzuka, Kiba's son.

Isozaki Hyuga formed a group with Sarada Uchiha, daughter of Sasuke and Sakura; Suzuki Uchiha, Shisui's daughter. They chose the police station as Isozaki admired Shisui, the leader of the Konoha Military Police Force and wishes to join it in the future.

Sarada can't help but go with his cousin to look after him as well as make sure Isozak and Suzuki don't fight with each other.

Meanwhile, Aihara sat with Shuichi at a restaurant waiting for Hatsuyo. She said, "That woman is probably busy with her work. I can't believe I have to wait for so long for her".

Shuichi scolded her, "Hey, she's your mom, you know. Stop disrespecting her like that". She snorted, "that woman is nothing more than my birth mother. As far as I concerned, my mom is at Hyuga clan who is looking after me every day".

Shuichi sighed while looking at his daughter, "being a jonin commander is not an easy job, you know. It's just as hard as being Hokage these days. Not to mention, it hasn't been that long your mother's clan just got integrated into this village.

The elders lived on the moon for many decades. It's hard for them to adjust to even human society, not to mention this village. It's difficult to manage a clan like that. You are intelligent and m_a_t_u_r_e for your age. You can understand her situation, right?".

She mumbled, "but that doesn't help the fact that she failed to manage her duties as a parent. I wish you would just change my clan name to Hyuga".

Just then, Hatsuyo entered the restaurant in her jonin uniform making Aihara even angry. "Sorry for the late. There's a sudden meeting held by Hokage today".

She sat before them and they started their lunch while talking. Shuichi asked, "any important news?". She nodded, "yeah, there's been sightings of the dark chakra in smaller nations and a rumor of Akatsuki being formed again".

Shuichi nodded, "I'll ask the Alliance to look into it". Aihara asked, "Akatsuki? Isn't that the same organization that waged Fourth Shinobi war?". Hatsuyo nodded, "yeah. Any news about it is bad news".

Shuichi replied, "c'mon. Originally, Akatsuki formed with the intent of making the world a better place. It's just Nagato lost his way in the middle and someone took advantage of it and used him".

Hatsuyo asked, "can't you just find it out with your Tenseigan?". Shuichi replied, "Nah, I would rather not. I have my reasons but don't worry. I'll just ask Sasuke to look into it. He's the best in Alliance in finding out information".

Aihara then interrupted, "I want to say something". Shuichi and Hatsuyo stopped their discussion and looked at her. She said, "I want to quit shinobi services". Hatsuyo stood up in shock, "What?".

Aihara calmly replied, "I already submitted it today but Uncle Naruto will not accept it unless I obtain both of your permissions".

Meanwhile, team Isozaki reached the police station and entered the building. Soon, they met with one of the captains and received their job to monitor the central district where petty crimes usually happen from time to time.

A few months later,

Principal Iruka announced that the 3rd year students get to go on a trip. Everyone sat inside the train which is specifically prepared for them. A few hours later, Boruto looked at the shinobi stationed at the entrance.

Sarada asked, "Is this the place where your father works?". Isozaki nodded, "I guess. I never came here before. It's my first time". Shino spoke, "everyone, now we're entering the neutral region where it is heavily militarized and was guarded by the elite jonin of various villages.
