Since tonight they need to attend Xie Lihua's birthday dinner, they dressed nicely. Both of them were wearing a similar long sleeve shirt, it was made from very exclusive material. The residence complex is really big. The distance from the gate to the house took 5 minutes by car. The road's side is planted with big trees and even at night, the beautiful road lamp illuminates the surroundings so Bai Yutang can see flowers and bushes in patterns like a small park.

This big land is the residence complex for Sun's family. There are nine houses in this complex with the latest sophisticated security system installed starting from 50 meter outside the gates. His lover told him that some of this area has the hidden security system planted underground. Some also can detect body heat.

This residence also has a housing complex for their staff. They have outer complex housing for their maids, chauffeur, chefs, gardener, and bodyguards. The inner complex is for the nine main houses connected with gardens. They even build big ponds nearly lake size with a pavilion by the lake.

Jian Kang Lu told him that this complex also has a helipad, and each house has an emergency button connected directly to the nearest police station and the security system headquarter.

Sun Hongjia chose to build his house in the ancient Chinese combined with modern minimalist design. It was also Zhen Guo's masterpiece before he built his own firm. The big house only has two floors, with a basement for the garage. Their garage is even bigger than the mini market garage, full of expensive cars.

Inside the house, Bai Yutang saw the painting and some antic vase. He wonders if he took one of these homes and sold it, maybe he won't need to work for the whole of his life. Bai Yutang thought Jian Kang Lu was already rich, but truly can't compare with this young master.

From the entrance, the maids assist them and show the way to the garden. The birthday party was held in the garden near the lake. Bai Yutang can only look at the surroundings in awe. The granite floor seamlessly connected with the wooden tile, and the stone tile in the garden. The wide glass door gives the house a blending illusion with the garden outside. Not even mentioning all the expensive decor inside the house.

In the garden, there are few guests already arriving and sitting on the sofa arranged in the middle of the garden to enjoy the orchestra's performance. For his wife's birthday party, Sun Hongjia invited a few famous singers to sing along with the orchestra, with a famous comedian as the MC.

Bai Yutang now can see the differences between how ordinary people celebrate their birthday party with how the fuerdai did it. Sun Hongjia used the chefs and the waitresses from the Song Lixia's restaurant. Song Lixia's restaurant closed for tonight to serve this party.

White flowers which Bai Yutang didn't know it's name filled this garden with their soft scent. The long tables are full of the beautiful appetisers and the waitress is ready to fill their glass with their preference drinks. Wine, champagne, mineral water and juices. They also build a bar in the corner for guests who prefer their cocktails mixed by the bartender.

Bai Yutang followed his lover to greet the birthday girl, Xie Lihua, and her husband. Bai Yutang gives her their gift, and Xie Lihua directly opens the gift in front of them. She hugged Bai Yutang and said that she loved the earrings so much. She even calls her assistant and gives her the current earring she wears to replace it with their gift.

"This earring will match all my outfits, i love it so much! Thank God you choose this year's gift. He gave me a shopping card last year! Do you believe it???" Xie Lihua chatter while looking at her own face with that new earring in her mobile phone.

Bai Yutang can't believe his lover gave a girl a shopping card as a birthday gift. His lover seems like a sensible guy, and even always chooses the best gift for him. Bai Yutang followed his lover to sit on the sofa, waiting for other people to arrive.

"Gege, did you really give Xie Jie a shopping card as a birthday gift?" Bai Yutang whispers to his lover.

Jian Kang Lu laughs and nods. "I don't know what else to give her, and those girls often said my taste is bad when choosing a gift. So I just gave her a shopping card."

Song Lixia and Luo Yan sit on the sofa next to them. Luo Yan asked Bai Yutang about his project and ordinary college's life. Luo Yan was interested in opening a cafe near T and P university. Luo Yan told Bai Yutang he wants to meet his friends and ask them about their preferences.

Bai Yutang really admired this man's talent in business when Luo Yan told him he was planning to make certain days offer a discount for certain majors. For example, every 1st day in the month will offer a 10% discount for architecture, the 2nd day for the business major, every last Saturday in the end of the month will offer a discount for the couple, and so on.

Bai Yutang laughed when Luo Yan winked at him and said everyday his cafe will offer a discount specially for Bai Yutang.

"I will remind you about today's promise when you open your cafe, Luo Ge."

Song Lixia sipped her wine and looked at her husband chatting with this young man. "Jian Ge, you look happy lately. I can see he's good for you." She toast her last remaining wine in her tall glass to Jian Kang Lu.

Song Lixia could see the long gone tender smile from her best friend and his doting tone while he looked at his little lover.

"Yes, he brought back the happiness in my life."

They chat for a while, and Song Lixia was glad her best friend seems truly to have a complete life now. But inside, Song Lixia still has doubts in her heart. Her best friend's little lover is too young. And Song Lixia saw many things happen in life.

Many couples with large age differences succeed in their love life. But even Song Lixia's wide connection limited to the heterosexual couple. Luo Jiao told Bai Yutang to ask for an internship in her husband's firm. Bai Yutang really wanted to, but he felt that it was kinda cheating. He needs to apply for an internship this year and next year to broaden his horizon and fill his resume with working experience before he graduates.

"What's the use of having this guy as your friend if you can't take advantage of him? He didn't accept many students as interns in his firm. But if you are good to this beautiful JieJie1, then this JieJie will help you to make this wooden guy accept you." Luo Jiao told him with her snob tone.

Bai Yutang laughed, and just joked with her that he will make sure he will be good to this beautiful and kind goddess to make sure her husband will accept him as an intern. Bai Yutang didn't plan to really do it. He still thinks that it was cheating. Maybe next year, but this year he planned to apply for an internship in a small firm. He knows his own capability.

The MC starts to open the main show, and the big screen shows the birthday girl's glimpse of life. In that many pictures shown, lots of happy faces and emotion show the couples and their children. There is one picture when Xie Lihua is sweating in her hospital gown holding her newborn second child, and her husband kisses her forehead with their daughter holding her brother's little finger.

A lot of candid pictures taken by Sun Hongjia, shows how much he adores his wife. Xie Lihua might not be the prettiest girl in this party, but all the girls here certainly will envy her life. She has a husband that loves his wife so dearly, a rich and powerful man that protects and cherishes his family so much.

The guests in the party know this couple in real life, so they know that these are not pictures shown in the media for the sake of a good image. This couple is one of the rare couples that truly love each other, and happily married.

Xia Lihua already spent the third part of her life with this man, and will spend the rest of her life with him. Both of them will dedicate their time for each other, for the rest of their life.

Bai Yutang saw a woman in the corner look at the slideshow with gazing eyes. She's pretty and very elegant, with the dazzling gown and jewellery all over her body. But she looks so lonely, looking at the pictures of a woman with a happy life. A life that she didn't have.

Bai Yutang looked at his lover, who looked at him back. They look at each other for a moment. A short moment that feels like an eternity. A moment that fleeting in time, made their surrounding blurred in the background.

Bai Yutang didn't know the future. But he also wants to lead a happy life with this person beside him. A life together, in poor or rich, in health or sick, in hard moments, and in happiness, together.

The MC closes the slide show with a toast, and invites the couple to dance together. The famous male and female singers sing the couple's favourite song, I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston. And followed by their wedding song, Marry Me Today by David Tao and Jolin Tsao.

Bai Yutang felt his hand wrapped in warmth. A hand that felt familiar to him, a hand that held his hand thousands of times before. He looked at his lover, and saw his lover's tender eyes looking back at him. His lover moved and whispered in his ear.

"TangTang, I might not be someone that can give you a perfect happy life like you deserved. I can't be your wife that will give you wonderful babies like Hongjia and Lihua have. I can't be sure that I will be the best person to accompany you for a lifetime. But if you are willing to give me a chance, i will use my whole life to try my best to love you. Forever."

Bai Yutang looked at Jian Kang Lu, and saw many emotions stir in his lover's eyes. Bai Yutang tightens his grip on his lover's hand. He didn't say anything, he didn't nod. He just looked at his lover's eyes. Hoped that his lover could see and hear what's inside his heart.

'Gege, you're more than enough for me. I don't know what tomorrow will bring to us. But I hoped we could always be this happy. Together, now and always.'
