The Stone Faced Boss Is Actually In Love

3 I Couldn’t Have Done It Without You

"I didn't think of that."

"You know sometimes I consider you the smart person I know. Right now your making me reconsider."

"I'm sorry. I just can't think rationally when it comes to him"

"Well you know what they say. When it comes to love even the smartest people become stupid."

"I'm sorry for calling about something like this."

"Don't worry. I love you for wanting to talk about love. I was always worried you would be alone forever. Also I'll be coming over tonight. I want to talk to you in person about your crush."

"Are you sure? I know you've been very busy lately."

"When it comes to you I'm always free. Even if we've gone our separate ways I want to be there for you. This is the first guy you actually liked. I want to help you win him over."

"Thanks."

"Don't mention it. This is what sisters are for. So don't try to stop me."

"Alright. I understand."

I never won in a battle against her because of how persuasive she is. It wasn't a bad thing because there are many things I wouldn't have done or talked about without her.

I texted her the address.

My eyes look back at the security cameras.

He's finally gone.

I finally escape my office and got on to my personal elevator. In the parking lot I had my driver waiting for me. I got in and was able to relax. Leon was originally my driver, but I couldn't relax with him driving me.

I finally arrived home to my own private villa. It felt lonely from time to time, but I usually ignored it. The interior was simple with the things a home should have. I never spent much time at home other than to sleep. The times I actually got home was often, but other nights were spent at the company.

I climbed the stairs and went to my bedroom. A queen size bed sat in the room. I took a quick shower and wore casual clothes. Getting out that suit after a long day felt great.

I got a text from Emily saying she's waiting outside. I quickly went to let her in. As I went I wonder if I should just give her a key.

She wore white T-shirt with jeans. A black jacket covers her. She really does look great in anything. Unlike me she has brown hair that flows down her back. Me and her still have the same black eyes. She always appeared more elegant and comforting. I appear more fierce and direct.

I welcome her into the living room. I go to the kitchen to get some hot chocolate for us. We caught up with each other. Finally we got to the topic she was here for.
