 Sophia said that as soon as she entered the range of what is left behind by my "Frozen world "

“Even elves avoid demon beasts, and I’ve never seen that magic. Ice magic doesn’t work on demon beasts, right?”

Demon beasts are generally resistant to magic, so freeze and other magic are basically ineffective.

That's why Sophia's question is on the point, but there is solid reason for that.

 "Well. However, if you have power other than magic, it's easy to freeze a demon beast."

 "A power other than magic?"

 "It is a little complicated, but I guess you can call it sorcery(jujutsu)and sage art (senjutsu)."

Sorcery, unlike magic, converts one's own negative thoughts into power.

Sage arts are activated by changing the way in which the very small amount of power of trees and water in the nature and one's own life force interact, and those powers can be used alongside different disciplines such as magic power.

Well, both of them have very few users.

 I also learned both in my previous life, but almost no one knew about the existence of these powers.

Sorcery was forcibly taught to me by a woman in a strange robe when I was an adventurer, and sage art was taught to me by an old man who lived in an unexplored part of a mountain, but I didn't use either magic very much because they are not very convenient.

 " Just a minute."

 Sophia looked with a strange expression. 

I cast some magic on something I took out from the wreckage of Cerberus I just defeated.

 It is called the demon core, and it is the equivalent of monster's magic stone.

However, the reason for its existence is completely different from that of magic stones.

A magic stone is the source of a monster's ability to use magic. 

On the other hand, the demon core is like the main body in which the demon beast's soul resides.

In depth, it's quite different, but well, that part doesn't matter.

After I cast a spell on it, the magic core is soon enveloped in a faint light, and three small dogs soon appeared on the spot.

"Wow, cute"

 If you see three Chihuahua-like puppies, it's only natural that you will smile just like Sophia.

"These puppies could be..."

 "Cerberus from earlier"

 "Is this magic is also Sirius' original? If the other elves heard that you made a demon beast smaller, they would definitely be surprised. And, are these puppies safe?"

Having said that, a Sophia was already petting head of one of them.

As long as the demon core is not destroyed, the demon beast will continue to live forever.

That said, each time, it changes their appearance and the individual becomes different, so it might be a little different from being immortal.

When I think about reincarnation, I can't help but smile wryly in my heart, thinking that I may be a companion of demons beasts, but regardless of that, Sophia loved one of the puppies Cerberus.

The other two also snuggled up to me, but maybe because a new rival has appeared, Freya-chan, the phoenix on top of my head, pecked at me in protest. 

It's funny, but I might really become bald because of her.

"Then shall we move on?"

 After exploring the area for a while, Sophia gleefully hugs one of the Cerberus puppy and asked.

Concerning that Cerberus, actually, I thought about destroying the magic core, or reviving it and sending it back where it came from, but unexpectedly, the puppies got attracted to me and Sophia, who is very fond of one of them, wouldn't let go, so I decided to have them stay by my side.

They also have a summoning contract, so they can be summoned at any time, but well, regardless of that, the number of mascots will increase, and the women will be happy.

By the way, I also gave names to the three former Cerberus.

 I named the one with back fur and which Sophia likes very much, Lent, the other white fur, Rinka, and the last one which seemed to be the combination of the other two got named Ruruka. 

Apparently, Lent is male, and Linka and Ruruka are female. Yes, I know that I don't have any naming sense.

I definitely have to name the children with Philia and the others, so I should polish my naming sense until then.

As a matter of fact, as the former third prince, when I become a duke in the future, deciding on the child's name will be the job of the head of the family.

Well, regardless of that, I would like to give my cute child a name.
