The Tycoon's Secret Bride

Lan Tuo swallowed deeply while clenching and unclenching his hand from the rising tension in the car. He couldn't divulge the information to the woman, because of the non-disclosure agreement he had signed with the Chairman of Cinopec Group, unless it was a life threatening situation he and the other bodyguards could not give out details regarding the chairman of the company to family or others. He wasn't surprised that the mother of his boss singled him out, since he was the chief bodyguard.

"I'm sorry Director Duan, but I cannot tell you unless Chairman Duan tells me in person to release such information to you."

"What do you mean that you cannot tell me the gate code?!"

The next thing that came after that was a slap to the face of the bodyguard, he felt the sharp sting that came from being hit to the face.

"See what you made me do!"

Director Duan looked at her hand which had the stain of the man's blood on it. She had deliberately flipped the top of her ring to the back before hitting him in the face, causing his skin to tear off from the impact of the sharp surface of the stone on her ring.

"I..I'm..Sorry Director Duan."

"You are sorry?! Ha! I don't need you to be sorry! Hurry up and tell me what the code is!"

Lan Tuo determined in his heart that no matter what, he wasn't going to tell her how to get into the home of his boss. He didn't fear losing his job because she wasn't the one that paid his salary, there was a reason why the chairman changed the combination on his front gate, if he felt that his mother was going to be a nuisance then why should he go against his boss and tell her?

"I'm sorry, but I cannot go against the wishes of Chairman Duan."

The bodyguard didn't raise his voice, but despite not doing so, his response seemed to further raise the ire of the woman.

"Let's see if can still keep it up after this!"
