"Mr Lan, do you like working for Cinopec Group?"

The bodyguard of Duan Chengyu had been pulled aside by his mother, shortly after her visit to his office. Director Duan sat at the backseat of her car with one of her son's bodyguard.

"Yes, Director Duan. I enjoy working for Cinopec Group."

The man's eyes were downcast as he answered the older woman that sat by him. She had a green trench coat draped across the custom designed dress suit and heels, the dark sunglasses over her eyes hid what expression she had behind them.

"Can you tell me the code to the gate?"

Lan Tuo swallowed deeply while clenching and unclenching his hand from the rising tension in the car. He couldn't divulge the information to the woman, because of the non-disclosure agreement he had signed with the Chairman of Cinopec Group, unless it was a life threatening situation he and the other bodyguards could not give out details regarding the chairman of the company to family or others. He wasn't surprised that the mother of his boss singled him out, since he was the chief bodyguard.

"I'm sorry Director Duan, but I cannot tell you unless Chairman Duan tells me in person to release such information to you."

"What do you mean that you cannot tell me the gate code?!"
