Chapter 131 - Welcome home hubby!
Roy Mansion
Jayne happily served dinner to her parents and her in-laws along with Ronnie. She felt that right now, this was eternal bliss. She couldn't ask for anything anymore.
She quietly gazed at her husband who was sitting opposite to her and peeling a crab for her. 'How could I've been so damn lucky to have stumbled upon this gem in my life. I must have amassed huge amount of good karma in my previous lives to have found him.'
She snapped back to her senses when Ronnie suddenly put the peeled crabs in her plate and said, "Eat baby."
After dinner, Jayne went back to their room and changed into a black knee-length ċȯċktail dress. She curled her long hair and let them free and applied some light makeup as well. She quickly wore a long trench coat and came downstairs.
She badly wanted to find an excuse to sneak out to the other mansion with Ronnie. After all she'd prepared for this day. She was fidgeting her fingers and pacing around in the drawing room.
Mrs Caroline Roy saw her pacing around impatiently. She very well knew that Jayne had planned something for Ronnie. She came to the drawing room where the rest of the them were involved in a conversation.
Mrs Caroline Roy walked in, "Where's Jayne?"
Ronnie answered, "She must be in the kitchen mom!"
He called out, "Jayne! Come over here!"
Jayne quickly came out.
Mrs Caroline Roy glanced at the watch and said, "Okay children, it's getting late for you. You must rest for the day."
Then she looked at the others and announced, "Ronnie must be working tomorrow and Jayne has her classes. So we'll send the kids home. Let them rest."
Even the others got a clue by what Mrs Caroline Roy said, so they all immediately agreed.
Jayne thanked her mother-in-law inwardly and bid goodnight to both her parents before leaving.
As soon as they sat inside the car, Jayne sneaked a kiss onto Ronnie's lips like a mischievous kid and muttered, "Thank you for everything hubby! I guess I should repay at least a bit of it.."
"So, finally, we're to it. Umm, tell me wifey, what are you upto? There must be something!" Ronnie asked her.
Jayne was acting all lovey-dovey clinging on to Ronnie's arms and even sneaking kisses in between. She didn't answer his question, but kissed him once more on his lips.
Ronnie knew that Jayne was extremely happy. He could see her sparkling eyes dancing with joy. So, he let her be.
The driver felt like his ears was about to bleed. He only wished to drop them off sooner before it was too late.
Soon they reached the Seaview mansion. As soon as they reached, the driver let out a sigh and didn't even wait for Ronnie's instructions and just said, "Goodnight Sir, Madam. I'll be here at half past six in the morning," before Ronnie could respond, he drove away.
Now Jayne and Ronnie were the only ones left. They hugged each other before Ronnie carried her to the door. Jayne then asked him to put her down before blindfolding him.
"Jayne, what are you upto?" Ronnie was too impatient to wait.
She seductively whispered in his ears, "Welcome home hubby!"
Her silken voice awakened his suppressed dėsɨrės. She took his hand and led the way to their courtyard. Finally she let loose the blindfold and said, "Surprise!"
Ronnie saw before him on the floor, a huge heart of white lilies and red roses with, "Welcome home hubby!" written. Around the heart were many electric candlelights arranged. Right in the middle was a cake which shone out under the lights
Around the heart were hundreds of photo frames containing pictures from their wedding. At the tip of the heart was a portrait of their wedding kiss. Each picture glowed under the lights spreading the warmth and love of their marriage.
She began singing Ronnie's favourite, 'Hotel California.'
Ronnie stood rooted to the spot totally mesmerised by everything around him, absorbing his wife's angelic voice accompanied by the beats of the guitar. This moment simply was "Perfect" for them.
Jayne looked at Ronnie's eyes admiringly while singing along. She was so lost in his eyes that she didn't even realise that she herself had ended the song.
Without breaking their contact, she walked towards him led him forward to the cake. They happily dug in. They even smeared the cream over each other merrily.
But that didn't stop there… Ronnie playfully licked the cream off her lips….
Jayne froze in reaction.
She only mȯȧnėd in response since it felt ticklish.
What started off as fun turned into a passionate one sooner. Their pent up dėsɨrės of two weeks finally found it's outlet.
