The Unsurpassed Maiden

"Where did you learn that Geo technique?" The twins ask in unison. They both have the same facial expressions on their faces; shocked, amazed, disbelief, Mi Young doesn't know what to describe first.

"I learned it from the dw—some old friends I met along the way." Mi Young says, clearing her throat. She almost forgot that she and Se Heon promised each other not to tell anyone about their journey to the past. "Why? Don't you know this technique?"

"We do." Jin Young answers.

"But none of us ever managed to execute that technique correctly." Ji Hyun says, finishing his brother's sentence.

"She can control three elements…" Mi Young hears the boy from the Anemo faction say, however she chose to ignore him as she regards the twins with interest.

"Why? That's a very easy technique…"

"Easy? If someone starts to execute the movements of that technique from our hometown, there's always something wrong with the final move. We don't know what it is but because of the calamities it caused in our town, our father banned any Geo user from using that technique." Ji Hyun says.

"Even saying its name is forbidden." Jin Young continues.

"There's a name for this technique?" Mi Young questions.

"You don't even know the name of that technique yet you have successfully executed it? Unbelievable." Ji Hyun whispers.

"Three elements…" The Anemo boy says once more.

"Well I just followed what my friend instructed and then I called out my mana." Mi Young explains.

"You executed the technique first before calling out your mana? But aren't we supposed to call on our mana first before executing a technique?"

"That's what my friends said. He said that this Geo technique is quite different from the others because like I said, you have to call out your mana after those movements are executed." The black haired girl explains. She got annoyed with the Anemo boy repeating his words over and over again so she shuts his mouth by covering it with her hands. Then she turns to the twins, "What was this techniques name again?"

The twins looked at each other before nodding their heads towards each other and turning their attention back to Mi Young, "The Sealing Earth Technique."

"Sealing?"

Ji Hyun nods his head before answering Mi Young's question, "It's because that technique was used by one of our strongest Geo ancestors, the Silent Dwarves, in sealing their enemies until they're buried deep underground with no escape at all."

Mi Young's ears perk up upon hearing the names of the Silent Dwarves. How can she tell the boys that she learned it from the direct ancestors he just mentioned seconds ago?

"T-That's cool then." Mi Young says. She looks at the boys who were looking at her expectantly. "What?"

None of them answered her but they just gave her huge smiles. Mi Young looked at them suspiciously. "You're both giving me the creeps. Tell me already or I'll leave you alone  here with this psycho."

"Hey! Are you calling me—hmp!" The Anemo boy tries to say something but Mi Young cuts him off by pressing her hands back at his mouth.

The twins nodded their heads towards each other once more, just like they did earlier, before they turned to Mi Young and bowed in front of her in a very formal way. "Please teach us the right way to execute the Sealing Earth technique!"

Mi Young couldn't stop her mouth from hanging open while looking at the two noble young men bowing and kneeling in front of her.

Meanwhile, everyone watching outside the arena were also shocked upon seeing the technique Mi Young executed earlier.

However, some people, especially the twins fans couldn't help themselves from spouting hate comments towards Mi Young upon seeing the twins bow and kneel in front of her.

"I can't believe she made them kneel in front of her!"

"Does she think the twins are lowlife people like her!?"

"Oh my god, are twins okay? Why are they kneeling at someone so low?"

Just then, they noticed the Head of the Geo clan, who was also watching the class battle, gripping his knees so hard his knuckles were turning white. If someone will take one look at him, they will immediately know that the Clan Head is very angry,

The girls looked at the man before they turned their heads towards the screen where Mi Young's face was currently displayed.

"Good luck once you go out, girl."

"You have made the Clan Head very pissed."

"Who wouldn't get mad if he saw his sons bowing in front of a peasant?"

They turned towards the Clan Head once more who was now standing, his whole body shaking. Everyone watching him is so scared because he looks so mad.

But then the most unexpected thing happened.

The Clan Head looked at the screen where Mi Young's face was still displayed as he kneels down and bows, and with a loud voice the Clan Head announces, "I PROMISE TO LEARN THE SEALING EARTH TECHNIQUE FROM THIS YOUNG GIRL ONCE THE CLASS BATTLE ENDS! I WILL WAIT FOR YOU!"

All the people surrounding them looked at the Clan Head with confused expressions, while the group of girls who were just talking about Mi Young earlier just wanted the ground to swallow them because of embarrassment.

"Really Clan Head? Why do you have to react like that? Now we're embarrassed as hell after saying those hate comments out loud."

"So after seeing you guys execute the Sealing Earth Technique, I realized two things." Mi Young starts as she paces back and forth in front of the twins who were both looking at her intently like students ready to listen to whatever their teacher tells them. "First, is the fact that you are calling out your Geo mana in the beginning rather than calling it out after executing the technique. I have already said this to you guys earlier, right?"

The two boys nodded their heads together, eyes never leaving the maiden in front. Mi Young nods her head at them before she starts talking once more, "Second is the fact that you are using a wrong hand gesture while executing the movement during the fourth and the seventh breathes."

"Really?" Ji Hyun asks. "But the one who taught us about the movements for this technique is the most well-known and the oldest Geo teacher in our clan. He's the best as well."

"Well whoever he is, he taught you a wrong movement." Mi Young says while waving a dismissing hand at them, not knowing that outside the arena there is the old teacher they were talking about, listening and getting embarrassed with how the young girl pointed out his wrong teachings in just one look.

"That is the reason why both of you or anyone in your clan cannot do the Sealing Earth technique. If you managed to follow the things I have taught you, I'm sure you will be able to execute it perfectly." Mi Young says, ending her explanation. The Kwon twins stood up in front of her as they bowed to Mi Young in gratitude.

And together they say, "Thank you, Miss Kang!"

Mi Young smiled proudly to herself.

Actually, teaching the two brothers the Sealing Earth Technique is just an excuse to distract them while she slowly gets the Geo faction's flag from the tree where Kwon Ji Hyun hid it. She saw the other party looking at the tree (where he hid it) from time to time and so she got curious and there she found the flag neatly hidden behind the leaves.

She went to get it while the twins were busy perfecting their movements for the Sealing Earth technique. If the boy from the Anemo faction saw her getting the flag, he chose to act blind.

"Come to think of it, what was your name again?" Mi Young asks while looking at the dark blue haired boy from the Anemo faction.

Said boy looked at her with wide eyes before he turns away while his cheeks were dusted pink, "X-Xiao Lu."

"Xiao Lu? That sounds like a foreign name." Mi Young says, staring at the boy intently.

"My mom said my ancestors were not originally from here, maybe that's why I have a name that sounds like that." The boy says while shrugging his shoulders. He nods at the twins who were still busy executing and perfecting their movements for the new technique they have just discovered. "Are you sure they're okay? They look obsessed."

"Says the one who was so obsessed with fighting me." Mi Young deadpans while smirking at Xiao Lu.

The boy sends her a death glare before he huffs and turns away from her.

Just as Mi Young was about to laugh at the boy's reaction, a huge firework suddenly appeared in the night sky above them.

"What the hell is that?" Xiao Lu says while standing up.

Mi Young sees the twins running towards them as well. "Hey, do you guys know what fireworks mean?"

"No. How would we know, we're here with you." Xiao Lu whispers while still looking at the fireworks above.

"Whatever that is, it looks pretty to me." Kwon Jin Young says as he looks at the fireworks with a small smile playing on his lips.

While listening to the three boys talk about the fireworks suddenly appearing in the night sky, Mi Young remained silent.

She knows what is the meaning behind those huge fireworks.

It means, their team is close to having their second flag.

Now, Mi Young's only problem is how to escape the three boys without them noticing her or else, her team's plan would fail.

The only thing Mi Young can hope for so she could escape is that the boys, even though trained warriors, would still consider sleeping despite the situation around them.
