The Unsurpassed Maiden

The beast roared once more, making the crowd erupt in another round of applause and cheers.

They're getting excited and they want nothing but to see a young girl try to fight off with the most savage and strongest beast.

Mi Young, who initially had her eyes closed, opens them when she hears a familiar roar coming from the beast flying above her.

She tries to locate the flying beast to see if her suspicion was right. When her eyes met the beast's, Mi Young couldn't stop her heart from leaping out of joy. She couldn't believe her luck either.

The beast roared one more time before it finally descended on the stage and landed in front of Mi Young.

The people around them cheered as they finally got to see the beast face the arrogant girl.

"Yes! Green Dragon don't disappoint us and finish that girl in one second!"

"I bet she wouldn't be able to execute any battle techniques at all!"

"Run lad or else you'll meet your death!"

Mi Young can hear different sentences and comments coming from the crowd as they cheer for the Green Dragon to finish her in one go. Little did they know that they're going to face the day where they want nothing but to be swallowed by the ground.

Mi Young smiles at the Green Dragon, or what she calls Medusa.

Yes. The "Green Dragon '' everyone was talking about which is also known as the "strongest" and the "wildest" beast to tame in the whole Beast Club is no other than the tamed savage beast of Kang Mi Young herself. Her very own Basilisk Dragon.

"I bet my whole house that the Green Dragon would finish her using its poisonous breath!"

"I bet my villa that it will only stomp its foot at her!"

"I bet everything I have, including my life, that the Green Dragon would just roar and that kid would admit defeat immediately."

Mi Young looks at her Basilisk Dragon who was also looking at her, then she uses their mind telepathy that can only be acquired if a master and a pet has formed a complete contract.

'You heard them?' Mi Young asks through their mind link.

The Basilisk Dragon roared, confirming Mi Young's question. The crowd cheered thinking that the beast was finally going to attack the young girl.

'Let's make this quick.' Mi Young starts to say, still using their mind link. 'I will show you a battle technique and you'll act like you are in fear then you can come and receive my pets. Is it okay with you?'

The Basilisk Dragon roared once again, sounding excited. Mi Young heard her say 'yes' before it sits up straight.

"It's starting!"

"Come on show us what you got!"

"I can already feel my pocket getting full today"

Just like what she had instructed the Basilisk Dragon earlier, Mi Young does a battle technique in front of her savage beast. Everyone started cheering for the Basilisk Dragon to attack her already.

When the black haired girl finishes her technique with a final move, the Basilisk Dragon roared before it acted like a scared animal. Everyone watching them looks confused with how the supposedly strongest and meanest beast was acting.

"That's right! Come to me dragon!" Mi Young shouts. Then the dragon roared before it bowed its head in complete submission.

Every single person watching them went completely still upon seeing the scene unfold in front of them.

"Are you serious?"

"Why is it not attacking her?"

"No, the better question is, why is it submitting to her?"

"Are you sure this is the Green Dragon everyone is afraid of?"

Different suspensions and theories came running from the mouths of the people watching them, all of them couldn't believe that the arrogant and strongest Green Dragon was submitting itself to a mere young student just by seeing its battle technique.

Mi Young can hear the MC panicking below stage as he calls on some staff.

"What is happening?! Why is the Green Dragon not attacking her?! I thought you didn't feed it for three days?!" The MC shouts as he scolds his staff who look shocked as well.

Upon hearing the MC's claims, Mi Young couldn't stop herself from clenching her fist hard. She can't believe they have the nerve to abduct the Basilisk Dragon and not give it food for many days.

Since the Basilisk Dragon can feel what her master was feeling, she roared while looking at the MC who went still upon seeing the dragon looking angrily at him.

"Easy boy!" The Mc says while the dragon starts to crawl towards him. "Easy!"

The Basilisk Dragon roared once more before it raised its tail, about to attack the MC without any remorse. However, just as the Basilisk Dragon was about to land its huge tail on top of the poor looking and shaking man, Mi Young stopped her.

"Stop it, Medusa!" The black haired girl yells, making everyone amazed with how much control she had on the savage beast. One sentence from her got the dragon completely still. "First of all, this dragon is not a he. She is a girl and she is a mother as well. Which means,  you have completely stolen her from her family without any permission at all. Aside from that, you are also breaking the law of the Mage Kingdom where pet owners should see to it that his or her pets are well taken care of, that includes giving them food every day."

The MC looks terrified while hearing Mi Young's claims. He was about to deny them but he hears some people from the crowd whispering hateful comments about his actions.

"Well, the girl is right. Even though I love watching beasts fight, I always make sure that all of my beasts at home have proper food."

"To think he doesn't give food to any of their beasts just to make them wilder during battle. That's just sick."

"How come a man like him exists?"

Although Mi Young wants to tell the other audience that they are no different from the man, she chose to ignore them since their comments are giving pressure to the owner of the Beast Club, who is also the MC himself.

Then the black haired girl turns towards the MC once more.

"Moreover, you have also made a pact with me using the Sacred Oath. I hope you did not forget it or else you will have to face death."

"Yes! You're right! I will follow all the rules and other conditions that comes with our pact just please save me from the Green Dragon!" The man shouts as he kneels in front of Mi Young, too scared to stand up on his own while the Basilisk Dragon is looking at him with daggers.

Mi Young slightly pushed him away from her and made him stand up, "Fine. I will spare your life but you promise to abide by all the conditions we have set before the fight started and that is if I win during this fight, I will own everything that is within the walls of this Beast Club."

"Yes, I understood." The MC replies quickly. He felt the Basilisk Dragon's breath behind his back which made him stand up stiffer and closer towards Mi Young. "J-Just please tell the dragon to move away from me."

Mi Young wanted to roll her eyes at the man who was acting so arrogant and confident earlier. And now that Mi Young is clearly the winner of this fight, he's acting like a scared mouse, trying to look for protection. What a coward. Mi Young thought.

"Very well." Mi Young exclaims. Then, she turns to her savage beast. "Medusa, return to your home now. You can go and meet your children!"

The beast roared as if thanking Mi Young for saving its life once more. The black haired girl then instructs some staff to open the ceiling of the arena to let the Basilisk Dragon fly.

When the roofs had been opened, the Basilisk Dragon bowed his head one more time towards Mi Young's direction before it soared through the cloudless sky.

Mi Young turns to the crowd.

"And since I am the victor, I will collect all of the money and bets of the people watching here!" Mi Young says with a triumphant smile.

'Didn't you say you don't want the money? What changed, little sis?' The MC thought while looking at the black haired girl.

Everyone from the  crowd looked at the young girl standing on the stage alone. They couldn't believe that with just a battle technique, the black haired girl was able to scare off the Green Dragon. They say that savage beasts can immediately decipher the strength and ability of a Mage just by seeing their battle technique. Since the Green Dragon completely submitted itself to the girl with just a single battle technique, everyone thinks that the girl is probably a Master Beast Tamer in disguise.

No one could have done that unless you are a Master Beast Tamer.

Now that they think about their words and actions, many of them who looked down on the little girl wanted the ground to eat them up right there and then. They couldn't believe they just insulted a Master Beast Tamer.

"She's definitely a Master Beast Tamer with lost of experience." A person from the crowd whispers. This was enough for the other people watching to hear and they couldn't stop agreeing with what they had heard.

Since everyone started making up an excuse for her, Mi Young doesn't have to come out with an excuse for herself with how she has managed to do that to the beast. The black haired girl shrugged and smiled to herself.

She couldn't believe that she was able to achieve and earn tons of things today. She did not only get thousands of gold from the audience who had placed their bets with her fight earlier but she also managed to earn the whole Beast Club without doing something big.

Then, she remembered what she was actually here for.

Mi Young scanned her eyes through the crowd to search for the person she was trying to impress. But he was nowhere to be found.

Just as the black haired girl was about to give up looking for the genius teacher, he saw her walking out from the door where they had gone earlier.

Mi Young didn't waste any of her time as she ran for the arrogant man.
