The Unsurpassed Maiden

After hours of searching and learning how to brew the potion Mi Young needed in order to wake Se Heon up and hopefully take his condition away, the black haired girl finds herself unable to do it properly.

She has everything she needs in order to make the potion, even the most difficult ingredient to have, which is the violet lamp grass. Thanks to her journey back to the past, she was able to have a couple of those flowers now after doing what the Cyclops instructed her and planting it in her small garden.

Mi Young tried all the methods presented in Soo Young's journal. There are actually four different methods in order to cure their condition. But none of them succeeded. She also tried different processes she saw from the library, even giving the violet lamp grass directly to Se Heon, but still, the flower had no effect on her friend.

The young student was starting to lose hope. Lady Ning Gwang said that these methods cured Soo Young, but why isn't it working on Se Heon? Could it be that they have different conditions? It's not that she's doubting the skills of the blue haired Mage but now she doesn't know what to think of anymore.

The black haired girl sighs for the nth time as she lays on her bed. She looks up at her ceiling and then to the huge window on her side. It was almost dawn, which means in a few minutes she has to go and meet Lady Ning Gwang up the hill where the only maple tree inside the academy ground can be found.

Seeing as there was no hope in trying the methods anymore, Mi Young decided to continue it some other time, she wished Se Heon could wait.

Mi Young slowly gets up from her bed. She realized she didn't even get to have a proper sleep and now she's already starting another brand new day, thanks to the new cultivation technique teacher Zhong gaver her, she was able to have the ability to not sleep for almost two days. The young girl sighs once more before she starts cleaning up the huge mess she made while trying to make the potion for Se Heon. Afterwards, she decided to have a bath using a cold shower to wake herself up.

After finishing, Mi Young went towards her closet to search for something to wear. But when she opened it she felt rather disappointed because she had nothing else to wear except for the only thing hanging on her closet – which is a purple one-piece suit (that looks like a swimsuit) that was given to her by Lady Ning Gwang as a congratulatory gift when Mi Young and her team won the Class Battle. There was a reason why the young girl kept it inside her closet and that is because it was too suggestive.

But now she has no other choice. It's either she wears it or she'll have to meet Lady Ning Gwang naked. Mi Young closes her eyes as she fetches the one-piece suit. She gulps while looking at it;' it's now or never.

Mi Young hastens her pace as she wears the suit without any other choice. She looked at herself in the mirror and couldn't stop the blush from creeping all over her face as she looked at how her suit hugged her figure. She then grabs her mother's cape and puts it around her to at least cover her form from behind. She also managed to find a black see-through stockings and a purple pointed hat that matches the color of her suit.

When Mi Young deems herself ready enough, she smiles to herself in the mirror and instantly leaves her penthouse.

It was almost daybreak when Mi Young got out of the dormitory building she was staying at. While walking towards their meeting place, the young girl noticed that there were a lot of students and other staff walking around at this hour, which was something she didn't imagine because she thought that most students are still asleep at this kind of hour.

Mi Young shrugs her shoulders and decides to ignore the thought. She also couldn't help but to walk in a fast manner since she saw a lot of students looking her way. Some Mage boys even had the audacity to whistle suggestively at her, Mi Young threw them a middle finger and showed them her huge and blazing fireball, which immediately made them back away after knowing that it was the same girl who managed to make her team win on the recent Class Battle.

The walk towards the hill where the lone maple tree was located was even more challenging than walking on the academy ground where a lot of students were looking at her.

The air was still cold since the sun hasn't risen yet and the morning breeze is fresh since there are no other buildings blocking them now that Mi Young is at the open field behind the academy. This is also the way towards the mysterious and huge forest where her Basilisk Dragon was staying. Mi Young reminded herself to pay Medusa a visit after she goes with Lady Ning Gwang and battles with Lee Kwang Soo.

Mi Young was walking for almost thirty minutes already when she finally saw the hill where she and Lady Ning Gwang were supposed to meet. She also took notice of the two silhouettes standing beside the maple tree.

"Sh*t, am I late?" Mi Young whispers to herself as she walks faster towards the hill.

When Mi Young reached the top of the hill, what she did not expect was the boy standing next to Lady Ning Gwang. She thought that it was her other teacher, Zhong Yu, who was with the white haired woman but instead, it was no other than the opponent she was supposed to face later during the day.

"What the hell…" The other party says as he saw the young girl walking towards them. Then, he turns to Lady Ning Gwang, "Why is she here? Is she the other student you were talking about?"

"Teacher!" Mi Young exclaims while looking at her teacher with confused eyes. "Why is Kwang Soo here? Where's teacher Zhong?"

"She knows Zhong too?" Kwang Soo asks the white haired lady. After that, he looks at Mi Young with a glare, "And that's Senior Kwang Soo to you, young lady!"

Mi Young chose to ignore the senior as her eyes were focused on her teacher who was still smiling calmly despite her two students' protests. "Teacher! Why aren't you answering me?"

"Yes, why are you not answering us!"

"Why do I still have to answer your questions when it's obvious already." Lady Ning Gwang says as she regards her two students who both have betrayed expressions on their faces. "Oh don't give me that look. I don't know about the beef between the two of you but you're both coming with me anyway whether you both like it or not. Consider this as part of our lessons."

"I only came here because you said we're going to meet Shin Yu! I never expected this arrogant child to come with us!" Kwang Soop says while pointing at the offended Mi Young.

"Excuse me, I am seventeen years old! Therefore I am not a child anymore!" Mi Young fumes. Her face was getting redder than usual and it's not because she was embarrassed but she was fuming in anger.

"Well, you act like one!" Kwang Soo fires back.

"Stop acting like children, children." Lady Ning Gwang says as she tries to calm her two students who were both seconds away from firing fireballs at each other. "We have gathered here in order to make a small trip towards my beloved cousin. We're here as teammates."

"I am never going to be on the same team as that—"

"Shut up you stupid—"

"SILENCE!" The two students immediately shut up when Lady Ning Gwang shouted using her charmed voice.

Charmed voices are used by the early Mages in order to make their opponents follow their commands, only those who have mastered this complicated technique are able to use them successfully. However, these days, charmed voices are mostly used by Mages who work in diners, bars, or any type of work that requires women or men to attract other people.

Mi Young should have expected Lady Ning Gwang to know this type of magic since she is a person from a different time.

"If you two won't stop arguing, I will locked you two up in my dungeon and torture you in many ways you could never imagine." The white haired woman says in a very sweet voice. She also managed to give both of them a very sweet smile that didn't reach her eyes.

Mi Young shivered at the way their teacher was looking at them. She couldn't do anything but nod, the other student following her as well.

"Good. Now, I want you two to follow my instructions very carefully." Lady Ning Gwang says. Mi Young saw her snap her hands in the air and a white lily appeared in front of the two students. To Mi Young, it seemed like the lily was floating in midair.

"What's that?"

"This is a teleportation device, like the mirror in your penthouse, Mi Young. And yes, this is a very rare magical item as well." The teacher says as she walks closer towards the students, the three of them surrounding the white lily. "This flower will take us anywhere I want. You two just put your fingers on its petals, just a light touch, and then you will be able to come with me to the place where I want."

"This is so cool." Mi Young hears Kwang Soo whisper beside her. Although she doesn't want to agree to anything the other student says, she couldn't stop herself from nodding her head after she hears him say those words. Because it's true, Lady Ning Gwang's magic is pretty damn cool.

"Now, place your fingers on one petal." The two students didn't waste any of their time before they pressed a finger against a petal of the white lily. Lady Ning Gwang closes her eyes.. She starts chanting something that Mi Young couldn't quite hear except for the word "Shin Yu" before everything else around them spins.
