Title: The Villainess Female Supporting Character Raising Her Bun
Translator: Fringe Capybara
Chapter 109 -  "I've had dinner already, over at my son's mother's place." (2)

Cheng Huan scooped the meat out into a bowl, brought it out and placed it on the dinner table before she called out to XingXing.

The little kiddo was very cooperative. He got up from the floor when he heard his mother calling out to him, patted off the invisible dusts from her shirt, and brought with him a little stool to wash his hands.

This being Jiang MingYuan’s first time being with XingXing as his father, he had more cooped up fatherly love than he knew what to do with. He didn’t even want to let the little kiddo go and wash his hands on his own.

After spending the entire afternoon with him, XingXing no longer felt awkward around him. The little kiddo got along with his father differently than with his mother. The two of them were more like friends than anything else. He was less restrained when he played around with Jiang MingYuan. By the time the two came back out after they have washed their hands, Jiang MingYuan was already soaked throughout.

The air conditioning was on at home and the temperature was just perfect. Jiang MingYuan only had on a shirt and his body shape was nice. The wet shirt was stuck onto his skin and his chest muscles could be seen.

Cheng Huan only took a quick look before she looked away. Staring at the little body in front of him, her face dropped. Intimidated, the little kiddo hid behind Jiang MingYuan.

After he was hidden behind Jiang MingYuan, the man even helped him out. He took half a step to the side and blocked the little kiddo entirely. Cheng Huan gave him a stare and, with a not-so-happy voice, said to him, “Don’t spoil him.”

“It’s fine.” Jiang MingYuan held XingXing’s hands and didn’t care much that his wet shirt was stuck into him. Smiling at Cheng Huan, he seemed like he has no temper. “XingXing is a good kid.”

“Yes, Mommy. I am very good!” Hearing his daddy praising him, XingXing stuck his head out and bragged.

“Alright, you two.” The son the she had been raising for so long had turned to someone else. Cheng Huan wasn’t sure how she was feeling right now. She placed the spoon into the bowls and said to them, “Come over and start eating.”

The father and son duo finally dared to sit down and eat after the head of household has spoken. XingXing might seem to be close to Jiang MingYuan, but he was definitely closer with his mother. That was very obvious over dinner.

He let his mother sit next to him and chased his father to the other side of the table. The little kid knew how to flatter. He scooped a spoonful of meat for his mother first before he started eating. “Here, Mom.”

Cheng Huan gave him a light “Mmm” and still didn’t look too happy. But she was quite pleased inside. She took at look at the man across from her and said, “Just some common dishes. Let me know how you like them.”

“Mommy’s cooking is the best!” said XingXing right away after Cheng Huan had finished talking. He grabbed the spoon and got himself a piece of braised pork. It was a piece the size of a mahjong tile and the little kiddo shoved the entire piece into his mouth right away. He kept saying it was delicious as he chewed and drooled.

“Don’t talk when you are eating,” said Cheng Huan as she wiped away his drool.

Looking at how the mother and son got along, there was a hint of a smile inside Jiang MingYuan’s eyes. He, too, picked up a piece of braised pork.

The braised pork was made form the best pork belly and had been braised in a clay pot for two hours. The pork was fatty but not stuffy, the meat part was not chewy. One could even say that they’d melt in one’s mouth. The taste of the sauce was fully cooked into the pork and there was a hint of sweetness within the savory taste. They tasted so good that they’d make one want to swallow one’s tongue with them.
