Title: The Villainess Female Supporting Character Raising Her Bun
Translator: Fringe Capybara
Chapter 110 -  "I've had dinner already, over at my son's mother's place." (3)

Jiang MingYuan has a few chefs at home and all of them fairly decent but Cheng Huan’s cooking was still better in comparison.

He gave her a thumbs up and praised genuinely, “This is very delicious.”

Her cooking being praised made Cheng Huan happy. Her look lightened up a little and she even gave Jiang MingYuan a smile.

The suit that she had on earlier was restrictive to her motions so she had changed out of it and put on a white wool sweater that was the same style XingXin’s. The sweater was V-necked. Cheng Huan has long and slender neck and she was wearing a very thin dainty necklace. As her face was tensed this entire time, when she smiled suddenly, it was like the melting of winter snow and she was dazzling.

Perhaps it was the mood inside of the house but, that very moment, Jiang MingYuan felt that his heart beat had intensified.

The two meat and two vegetable dishes that Cheng Huan had prepared were not a lot of food but the three of them still weren’t able to finish them all.

After dinner, Jiang MingYuan volunteered to clean up. He left the country to study aboard when he was 18 so he wasn’t entirely helpless. He even looked like he knew what he was doing.

After he had finished doing dishes and put them away, he bid Cheng Huan and XingXing farewell. XingXing still wasn’t ready for him to leave and followed him to the door.

The father and son looked at each other at the elevator lobby and not wanting to part ways.

“Are you coming tomorrow, Daddy?”

“Yes,” replied Jiang MingYuan definitively. His answer brought a smile onto XingXing’s face. Jiang MingYuan patted XingXing on his head and the elevator door opened up in front of them. Jiang MingYuan turned around, looked at Cheng Huan who’s standing in front of the front door and thanked her before he walked inside of the elevator.

After he walked out of the elevator, Jiang MingYuan looked at his cellphone.

He hadn’t looked at his phone the entire afternoon and now he saw a dozen or so of missed calls. Most of them from Zhou HengYuan and two from Gu MingLi. Jiang MingYuan ignored them and called up his assistant.

“Turn down the dinner with Boss Du tomorrow. There is somewhere else I need to be.”

The assistant acknowledged him without asking for further details.

After the phone call, Jiang MingYuan unlocked his car and got inside of it. Then his phone rang again.

He took a look at the caller ID, closed the car door, and answered the call.

“Jiang MingYuan, WTF!” Zhou HengYuan shouted from the other end. “Did you just choose your woman over me? Do you even remember where you left me?!”

After XingXing said “Daddy doesn’t want me and I don’t want him either”, Jiang MingYuan had quickly looked for his kid’s mother and had completely forgotten about his good friend.

Zhou HengYuan thought he had just left to chat with his kid’s mother so he didn’t pay it too much attention. Then, after he had finished eating, he looked up and noticed that they were all gone. And, not only were they gone, Jiang MingYuan wasn’t even picking up his calls!

Zhou HengYuan wasn’t really worried that anything bad could have happened to his friend so he merely made called him a few times before he called his own chauffeur to come pick him up.

Of course he wasn’t going to tell that to Jiang MingYuan. What he needed to do now was to show how anxious he was. Zhou HengYuan’s crazy complaint made Jiang MingYuan sounded like a scum who had just dumped him.

Jiang MingYuan remained silent the entire time and, finally, when Zhou HengYuan was done with his complaint, said indifferently, “Don’t you have legs?”

His words made Zhou HengYuan speechless for a quick second before he said, “How’s me walking back on my own the same as you taking me back? That’s so irresponsible of you!”

“Stop already.” Jiang MingYuan didn’t have time to listen to his nonsense. “What is it that you want to tell me?”

After grumbling for a little while, Zhou HengYuan said, “I paid for the meal today. It’s on me. You have to treat me next time.”

Jiang MingYuan, “…… seriously?”

Was it really necessary to point out something so obvious?

Naturally that wasn’t why Zhou HengYuan tried to get hold of him for. After he had dragged it out for so long, Zhou HengYuan finally asked what he really wanted to ask, “How did it go with your son?”

Hearing his friend’s question, a smile rose up naturally in Jiang MingYuan’s eyes. He didn’t hide anything and just said to him cheerfully, “I’ve recognized him.”

“Ay! That’s great news!” Zhou HengYuan didn’t think it would have happened so quickly. He was genuinely happy for his friend. “That’s big. This calls for celebration! Let me gather a few others and go for a good meal. No pulling any other stunts this time!”

Zhou HengYuan was already confirming the invitation list in his head when he heard Jiang MingYuan declining him from the other end. “Not today. I’ve already eaten.”

“At my son’s mother’s place.” He added.

Zhou HengYuan, “……”
