Next to the Combat Command Room was the Gun Room and one could experience shooting there. The Gun Room was very deep, approximately 30 meters or so, and there was also a trainer in there who’d help visitors to don their protective gear and provide them with reminders.

Much like the Combat Command Room, there was a long line here as well. Boys always liked guns as did XingXing. He bounced up and down in his daddy’s arms wanting to go play with guns.

He bounced so much that Jiang MingYuan was having a hard time carrying him. He finally patted XingXing on his little butt before he finally quieted down. XingXing looked at him and gave him a pitiful look. “Daddy, I want to try this.”

“I reallywant to try this!” He added again after a little pause to stress on how much he wanted to try it.

“Okay. We will be able to try it when we reach the front of the line.”

The little kiddo was not pacified by that. “But I want to play it now.”

The line was quite long and each person could do up to ten shots. Add that to the time of putting on and taking off the protective gear, it’d be at least an hour before it was their turn.

With XingXing in one arm, Jiang MingYuan pinched his nose bridge and sighed. He put XingXing down, walked over to the man at the very front of the line and spoke to him.

They were so far away that Cheng Huan couldn’t hear what they were talking about. All she could see was him pulling out his wallet. After a little while, he walked over, took XingXing’s hand and said to Cheng Huan, “Okay, let’s go.”

He walked back over to the man at the very front. The man stepped aside and they took over his spot before he walked all the way back to the back of the line.

As they have swapped spots, it did not affect those behind them so nobody complained.

“How much did you give him?” Cheng Huan was curious.

“$1,000.” The man who spoke sounded very casually, as though it was only 1 yuan that he had just paid.

Cheng Huan, “……”

Okay. Perhaps 1 yuan and 1,000 yuan truly make no difference to him.

The group in front them finished up their 10 shots shortly and it was their turn. The three of them walked inside and the trainer asked who was going to shoot.

“Me! Me!” said XingXing as he bounced up and down on the site.

He was so excited that even the trainer chuckled. “Sorry. Children are not allowed to shoot here.”

“Oh?” THa was difficult for XingXing to accept. He really wanted to shoot the gun. The little kid, all puffed up, rolled his eyes and said all of a sudden, “I am not a child!”

“What?”

“I’m a big kid now,” said XingXing, standing with his hands on his waist and gave the best explanation. “Daddy said I have grown up already.”

The trainer gave XingXing an astonished look before he looked up at the adults standing next to him. He understood when he saw the helpless look on Jiang MingYuan.

The trainer leaned over, trying not to laugh, and placed his large hand over XingXing’s head and said what he didn’t want to hear. “Not even big kids can play. Only daddy and mommy can.”

“Why?” XingXing sighed.

“No reason,” said the trainer.

The little kiddo sighed again, his shoulders drooped, his head hung, as though all of his energy had just left him. He turned around, walked over to Cheng Huihui and Jiang MingYuan. Looking from one of them to the other, he finally tugged at the pants on his right, “Daddy, why don’t you go and do it.”

Jiang MingYuan had no reason to object. “Okay.” He replied and walked up to the trainer to take the protective gears from him and get ready to don them.

Seeing that daddy had walked away, XingXing pulled on his mother’s hand, gesturing to her that he wanted to say something. Cheng Huan gave him a look and bent down. She heard her son saying softly into her ear, “Mommy, shooting is tiring.”

That’s why we should have daddy take care of it.
