The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts

Chapter 264 264. A trip to Diagon Alley in disguise

In Scott's opinion, the Fidelius Charm is more of an ancient ritual magic than a spell.

This ritual must be performed on a night with a new moon in the sky, and some magic materials are also needed.

Scott calculated.

Then, he said excitedly: "It happens that the new moon night is in two days, and I will try this magic then."

He looked at the magic materials needed for the ritual again.

"I need moonstones to represent the moon, invisible beast blood to represent hiddenness, roses to represent secrets, and water from the Lethe River to represent oblivion."

After listening to this, Rambo said regretfully: "None of these things you mentioned are in the forest."

Scott touched his chin, "If I order by mail, I have to reveal my name. It seems that I have to go to Diagon Alley."

Rambo said: "Didn't you say that no one should know that you have been to England during the summer vacation?"

Scott laughed, "Of course I have to disguise myself."

After making the decision, he asked Rambo, "Can you take me to London, my friend?"

"Of course it's okay." Rambo said, "But you have to be prepared. This is a long journey. It will take at least three hours to fly at full speed."

They set off early the next morning.

Scott covered his eyes as usual and took them off after leaving the forest.

Because he didn't want to be accidentally seen by people on the ground, Rambo flew a little higher this time.

The air in the sky was a little thin, so Scott had to let Rambo slow down and put on an extra coat.

He looked at the scenery below and couldn't help shouting a few times.

"Now, speed up!"

Rampo also chirped in response, and then flew away like an arrow.

Rampo has the blessing of the magic circuit, and its flying speed is much faster than that of ordinary birds.

Scott hugged its neck, and the wind blew his eyes so hard that he couldn't open them. It was not a pleasant feeling.

He didn't know how long it had been, even when he felt that flying was a torture, Rampo finally flew over London and found the area where Diagon Alley was located.

Scott took out the [broken arm bone] and the magic wand, and cast a disillusionment spell on himself and Rampo.

Then they landed from a high altitude and landed in an empty alley.

Scott rubbed his face that was numb from the wind, and took off his coat after Rampo became smaller and put it into the skin bag of the deformed lizard.

"Now start the disguise." He said with a smile.

He took out two bottles of polyjuice potion from the skin bag, divided the same hair into two parts and put them into the potion bottle.

Then he drank one of the bottles first.

"One bottle can only last for an hour at most."

Scott thought that Borgin and Burke's death was still under investigation, so he did not rashly use the face of a stranger, but borrowed Roger's image.

He put another bottle of Polyjuice Potion in his pocket and strode out of the alley.

He crossed two streets and pushed open the door of the Leaky Cauldron.

Scott stepped into the somewhat shabby bar, and the originally lively atmosphere in the bar suddenly became quiet.

After seeing who walked in, the next second, the bar became lively again.

But Scott still clearly felt that most of the guests in the bar looked at him intentionally or unintentionally while drinking.

"Good morning, guests."

Bar owner Tom walked out from behind the bar and wiped his rough hands on the dirty apron.

He stared at Scott and asked, "Are you a student of Hogwarts?"

Scott nodded, "Good morning, Boss Tom, I just passed by here on my way to Diagon Alley."

Tom looked at him again, waved and turned away, "Okay, I remember you, young man, go ahead."

Hearing him say this, the other guests in the bar finally completely turned their eyes away from Scott.

Scott pretended to ask, "What happened?"

Tom suddenly turned around and leaned in front of him and whispered, "Just yesterday, a wizard died in Knockturn Alley, and we are all on guard against strangers who suddenly appear."

"Knockturn Alley?" Scott continued to ask in confusion, "I heard that the people who gather there are some terrible dark wizards, and people often die in that alley?"

Tom laughed, "You are right, young man."

Seeing that Scott was still looking at him puzzled, he lowered his voice a little, "But the person who died yesterday was not an ordinary person. That was Borgin and Burke, the owner of Borgin and Burke's shop, who is also a famous difficult person in Knockturn Alley."

Scott nodded as if he understood, "I see, but I just went to Diagon Alley to buy some potion materials."

"Of course, Diagon Alley is safe." Tom said with a smile.

After entering Diagon Alley, Scott went straight to Slug and Giggs' pharmacy.

Of course, he bought a bunch of potion materials and mixed the potion materials he needed in them.

"Welcome to visit next time."

Scott walked out of the potion material shop carrying a lot of bags and put them into a smaller leather bag.

He glanced at the streets of Diagon Alley and found nothing unusual.

But he soon saw a familiar figure at the entrance of Diagon Alley.

It was Snape.

And the person walking with him was the person whose photo he had seen in the newspaper the day before, the young duel champion Jacques Yaxley.

Scott quickly left the entrance of the potion shop. In order to stay as far away from Snape as possible, he walked into Florin's Cold Drink Shop, which Snape was least likely to enter.

If it was someone else, it would be fine, but now he definitely didn't dare to get close to Snape, the master of potions.

Who knows if Snape, the master of potions, can tell that he is a fake Roger who drank Polyjuice Potion.

Although Barty Crouch Jr., who pretended to be Mad-Eye Moody with Polyjuice Potion in the "original" plot, was not discovered by him, Scott still didn't dare to challenge Snape's sense of smell for potions at close range.

However, he still felt very strange.

Sitting in a cold drink shop eating ice cream, Scott watched the expressionless Snape and the complacent Jacques Yaxley walk into the shop where he just bought potion materials.

How could Snape walk with Jacques Yaxley?

Before this, Scott thought that the newspaper's special mention of Snape's praise for Jacques was just a courtesy.

Logically speaking, with Snape's personality, he would not be involved in the dispute over the heir of the Travers family.

He is close to Jacques Yaxley at this time. Doesn't he care that others think he supports the Yaxley family in this matter?

Scott doesn't believe that Snape is unaware of the situation.

Although he was a little confused, Scott didn't have time to think about it at the moment.

After Snape walked into the potion material shop, he immediately stood up with his ice cream and walked quickly to the Leaky Cauldron.

At this moment, his best choice was to leave Diagon Alley before Snape noticed him, so as to avoid the embarrassing situation of having to greet the professor.

And this was just Snape.

If he met other acquaintances of Roger, Scott would probably be more embarrassed.

"Roger!"

But things always happen like this.

Scott heard a call from a distance, and it sounded like a girl.

He didn't look back, but walked faster.
