This Time, It's Forever

Far from K city, a woman was pacing to and fro inside her bedroom looking anxious. She can be seen biting her nails while holding onto her phone. Never letting go as if her life depended on it. The same sentence that she kept on repeating for the past two hours. She was found out. How could this be? She's been careful enough and smart enough to cover her tracks so how could they have already found out? The phone that she's been holding finally rings giving another life to her. With the first ring, she pick it up.

"There's really big different between fake and real. It seems no matter what you can't beat the real one." Hearing the man's voice makes her trembled in fear. Based on his sentence alone she knew the person was angry at her for making her to be discovered so easily.

"I was being careful the whole time. They shouldn't have found out about me so easily unless there's a mole on your side." She rebuked. She put aside her fear and try to regain his trust. The sinister laughter can be heard from the other side making her knees weak.

"Dear Claudia, you really think the mishap came from my side? Apparently your current family name is just a name. You can't even beat the real daughter. Even without her family's name she lived her life like her old man. I wouldn't be surprised if she manage to dethrone you from your current family." Claudia gritted her teeth. No, she couldn't let that happen. She couldn't let that person find out the truth. This is her family and she will do whatever it takes to protect her position in this family. She is the only daughter in the Lyon's family. The mention of the Lyon can make everyone fear them. She was pampered everywhere she goes. That was supposed to be the case. However when the door closes her parent and brothers tend to distant themselves from her. As if they knew she was not their real daughter. But thankfully her grandparents treat her better. Doted her and will always fulfilled her every wish. Unfortunately, no matter how she wished she was born from the Lyon's family, the truth will always hurt. She was just a tool for her biological father to destroy the Lyon's family. She could always warn the Lyon's family about it, eventually greed will always win. She wanted the same thing as her father want. The power to control the world. All of this can be done if they she could take over their entire empire. Regretfully, she doesn't have any rights for it. Her parents would only let her have a part in the empire if she found herself a suitable husband that have the same standing with them. That is the condition that they put on her. She felt like cursing when she heard the condition. It only meant that she won't find anyone because they are at the top chain. But right at this moment, someone is finally on the same standing as the Lyon. This could be her opportunity and her only chance.

"If that were to happen dear father, you wouldn't have any chance on taking over their throne. You're not getting any younger." She sneered. Somehow when she thought of that tiny hope, she became brave again. There's no way her father would kill her because he still need her no matter what.

"Hahaha... It seems you found another way again. But i'm guessing you would be out of move soon. She is the real daughter of Lyon. Her every action and her way of thinking is the same as the Lyon's. You would not be able to beat her without me." He reminded her.

"Then what is your plan?"

"Do what you planning to do while i take care of the pest. If i found out you betray me, it would be easy for me to take your life." After that, he hung up the phone. Claudia sat down on her bed feeling annoyed. That woman should have stayed with the Liam's obediently and stay away from the crowd. Now her parent start to mention her husband's name. It won't be long if they manage to meet her. She really need to hurry. Time is running out.

"I could never hide anything from you." He smiled handsomely and kiss her forehead.

"If possible i would love to meet my real family and to give our sons and daughter the perfect family. With grandparents for them to cling on and uncles or aunties for them to scam but i was scared. I'm scared if it would only create more troubles for us and harm our kids. I'm scared they will be treated badly. It's enough we've been thrown out from our family but won't our kids be lonely just like us?" Lyla couldn't help but feel sad. Although they were fine without family around them but she knew how Dylan felt when looking other people's parent play with their grandchildren. While they live their life like they were orphan to begin with. It's just heartbreaking. Even for her. His sadness and loneliness she knew them all but he only decided to bury it deep within his heart. Dylan's hand tighten around her.

"We will never know if we never meet them. You have me. And our kids have Braxton, Alexander and Brittany to spoiled them. They will never be lonely. Neither do we. We have each other. As long as you're with me, we can give them the life like others. In fact they may surprise us someday." Dylan give her assurance. Although he never met with the Lyon's family personally but he had a feeling they would love Lyla if they ever meet up. One day. One day he will personally meet with one of the Lyon.
