This Time, It's Forever

Chapter 52:Should have left quietly

In the most deep forest, there's a cave. To others it might seem like a normal small cave. It can fit about 10 people if one want to take shades from rainy day. However to Dylan, it's not just a normal cave when he enter it. It took him to another side of the cave where it is brighter and greeted with armed guards. Lyla's brother was flabbergasted when they were suddenly in another part of the cave. They don't know how Dylan did it but it seem Dylan's identity as the King is not just a title. Entering the bright room, it was nothing but a white wall except for Dylan's guard who were dressed in black. They don't see any door nor room. Just white walls. However just when Jayden about to ask the situation, on the left side of the wall suddenly open up. The guard who were guarding that area knew whenever someone enter that wall, it was never a good thing. They call it The Road to Hell.

In contrast to the white room, the moment they enter that side of the wall it was dark, bleak, humid and you can definitely hear cries of horror and fear. It's a place where they wish they die but couldn't. Dylan had a look of Satan the moment he enter the left wall. Even the three brothers no longer tease nor mocked him. The air that he put out making them suffocate and the gloomy corridor is not helping them at all. Jayden nudging Adam from behind. Hinting him to say something to Dylan, to probably ease up the atmosphere so that they can still stay alive when they finally met the one who hurt their sister. Adam has the ability to make others calm down easily but at this moment, even he doesn't know how to deal with the Satan walking towards the end of the room cell. A bloody scream enter their ears and it sounded all too familiar.

Reynold, Adam and Jayden look toward each other and frowned. The three of them seem to have the same thoughts. Without having to guess, the moment they near the door, it was open immediately and there they saw a bloodied Claudia who have her arms been broken and her knee cap been removed. There are also some deep wounds on her body which are covered with salt. She was sitting there, limply wishing that she was dead so that she could no longer feeling any pain. Whenever they guards there saw her faint, they would forcefully wakes her up inflicting another pain on her body. She would wake up with a scream. Now everytime she's awake, she can only mutter them to kill her. Seeing several pairs of shoes in front of her, she slowly lifted her head and the moment she saw Dylan's grim face, she trembles greatly. Fear written in her eyes. To her, Dylan look exactly like Satan standing in front of her. She wanted to scream but was unable to do anything. And when her eyes move to Dylan's side and saw her 'brothers', shamelessly she plead for them to help her. But it was futile. In their eyes, it was only disdain reflected upon them. She was in despair.

"Why? Why can't you treat me like i'm your younger sister? Why can't you just accept me as your younger sister? Why do you have to replace me? Why? Am i not good enough? Am I?" She asked in her hoarse voice. Looking at the three brothers where she yearned for them to doted on her ever since she was small. To love her like their real sister. Seeing how they treated Lyla so lovingly, her heart can't just seem to take it. Aside from that, she saw how Logan and Diana treated Lyla. Everyone seem to accept her like she's been living with them for the past few years. All of that could have been her. If only Lyla is dead. Which is why she decided to kill her no matter what. Just so she could have that place and have their love. Her biological father only treated as a tool which is why she see the Lyon family as her home. Her perfect delusional home.

"We never have a sister like you. We only have Lyla Hart Lyon as our sister." The moment Reynold said that, Claudia's heart just seem to be in more pain than the broken arms and her other wounds.

"I could have accept her as my sister as well if only you guys love me like you love her. We could have been a wonderful family. And i would love to have her as my sister as well." She shouted the last part at them. Looking at them in her teary eyes.

"Could you? When your greed is stronger than family bond?" Adam asked calmly. Claudia wanted to answer but she, herself could not give any answer.

"You should have left quietly. We didn't chase you around just so you could live your life and start anew. Lyla wanted it that way. She's the one who stopped us from destroying you along with your father. And how you repay her? By shooting at her???" Jayden yelled at her. Claudia was stunned. She try to say something once again but she really can't think of anything at all. Is this what Adam meant just now? Her greed is stronger than family bond? Her head hung low. She realize it was her own greed who destroy her own opportunity to live happily. If she never made the choice back then, her future would be bright. She still have everything even if she need to start all over again. But she didn't see all of that back then.
