Keqi was burning with anger in his heart. “Who did this to you?”

Keqi thought that Li Qinghao came here to seek help because of having been bullied. But something like panic overtook Keqi as he met Li Qinghao’s eyes. ‘He seems to hate me, but why?’ Keqi thought to himself.

“Qinghao, you…” Before Keqi could finish his sentence, Li Qinghao raised his hand and slapped Keqi across the face.

The conference room was so quiet that everyone could hear a crack of a slap on the face. A reddish mark began to form on Keqi’s handsome face. Everyone caught his or her breath.

Princess Frise frowned. ‘What is Li Qinghao going to do? Don’t be silly, Keqi,’ she thought.

“Qinghao, what happened last night? I really don’t know because I was busy preparing for my grandfather’s funeral. Are you blaming me for not being with you last night?” Keqi tried to calm himself down and said softly, “Let’s talk outside, eh?”

“Don’t touch me!” Li Qinghao shook off Keqi’s hand. “In order to take the throne, you can kill anyone who gets in your way.”

“What are you talking about, Qinghao?” Surprised by Li Qinghao’s words, Keqi’s heart heart beat a rapid staccato. What the hell happened?

“Even if he’s your brother, right?” Li Qinghao gave a scornful smile. “Are you in a meeting? I know you are going to ascend the throne soon. But Keqi, life is full of surprises and we all don’t know what will happen in the next second.”

“What are you doing, Your Highness? We are having a royal family meeting. Come on, get this man out of here,” said Princess Frise in a cold voice. Things got out of control. Li Qinghao seemed to have lost his head. Frise knew that it would cause small trouble to become serious if Li Qinghao stayed here.

She came up to Li Qinghao and pulled him out of the conference room. “Have you forgotten our agreement? Even if you are not afraid of death, what about your parents?” she said under her breath.

Li Qinghao stopped struggling. He knew no fear of death, but he didn’t want to get Li Qinghao’s parents into trouble. Anyway, they were innocent.

“Take him away.” A malicious smile crossed Frise’s face as she turned around. Now things became more complicate.

Li Qinghao was forced to leave the Imperial Palace. His mind was somewhat unhinged, and his thoughts were in a whirl. ‘Did Keqi kill me for the throne? He has known long ago that we are twins. How could he have the heart to kill his twin brother? Wait! Twins?!’
