Lou Wei immediately understood what had been troubling Wen Fan the moment he heard the question.

He stared at the tiny man on the screen who dared not lift his head. His felt his breathing getting unruly, like roaring waves that came crashing down on him with scalding water.

It seemed as if everything in the room were no longer audible. He couldn’t even recall the image that he had seen on Weibo just now. His eyes were fixed on Wen Fan and his left hand that he placed on his lap was trembling.

His right hand that was on the computer screen trembled even more.

But after years of practicing self restraint, Lou Wei eventually got himself to calm down. He let out a soft sigh when he saw the deer ears of the tiny man in the computer screen drooping.

Although Wen Fan didn’t utter another word, he had been secretly waiting for Lou Wei’s reply. He waited for a long while only to hear Lou Wei sighing.

The sigh was like a trigger. Wen Fan was unable to hold back the emotions that he had been trying hard to restrain.

The cold air and dry kelp balls surrounding him disappeared instantly. He tightened his grip around the penguin. A thunderstorm started to form and dark clouds intertwined on top of his head.

A bolt of lightning was seen, following with the cracking of a loud thunder. Rain began pouring on the screen.

All the other APPs were wet from the rain except for Wen Fan and the penguin.

‘My Documents’ on the left side of the desktop quickly typed a speech bubble,

[It’s raining. Go home and take in your clothes!]

All the folders and files on Lou Wei’s computer desktop started flocking into ‘My Documents’, as if they were responding to its announcement.

Before, Wen Fan would definitely turn his head around to take a look. But now, he was still very depressed and he simply wasn’t in the mood to care about what other APPs are doing.

But before the rain above his head stopped pouring, Wen Fan heard Lou Wei’s voice.

Because he had been hanging his head low, Lou Wei had to kneel in front of the computer desk in order to see his face. The delicate tiny man’s eyes were looking down at the computer desktop.

Lou Wei let out a sigh and said, “How can I not like you?”

Wen Fan was taken aback. He immediately raised his head to look at Lou Wei.

He then heard Lou Wei continue, “I wanted to kiss you, to be able to feel you with my own hands. But I am unable to do all that now.”

Lou Wei whispered, “I can’t even touch you now.”

Lou Wei wasn’t speaking too fast. His every word weighs on Wen Fan’s heart.

“In fact, there were a lot of occasions where I’ve been meaning to tell you. But I’m worried that I might hurt you. Up until now, I am still unable to bring you back to the real world. Fan Fan, the relationship between two people who can’t even touch each other is too ethereal. I just don’t want to put you in a difficult position, let alone-”

Lou Wei paused before saying, “I don’t want you to agree to be with me just because you live inside my phone.”

After hearing Lou Wei’s words, Wen Fan kept quite for a long time.

He knew that he had to say something, but the words were stuck in his throat.

His entire body was trembling with excitement.

After hearing such a long speech from Lou Wei, the only thing that really went into his head was,

Lou Wei likes him.

It was the same way as how he likes Lou Wei.

This discovery messed up Wen Fan’s thoughts. His vision started to turn blurry and he got really excited. He stood up and walked up to the computer screen while holding the penguin in his arms. He leaned on the screen while looking at Lou Wei.

This may be the only time that he had been this brave.

Wen Fan took a deep breath and said earnestly to Lou Wei, “I like you, Lou Wei.”

Lou Wei clenched his left hand that was resting on his lap. He could suddenly sensed that every single cell in his body was about to explode from the heat. His heart was beating wildly against his chest.

This may be the first time in his life that he was this emotional.

Lou Wei parted his lips. His eyes were clouded by a layer of mist and he could almost hear his blood rushing inside his head. He struggled to maintain his composure and said tenderly, “Come out, Fan Fan. I want to kiss you.”

Lou Xia was shocked.

After she was done playing with her game,  she went downstairs to pour herself a glass of juice. She sat on the couch, logged into her Weibo account and noticed that she had received a dozen private messages from her friends on Weibo.

Friend 1, ‘Xia Xia!!!! Your future sister-in-law is really handsome. Oooh, I’m so envious!’

Friend 2, ‘Xia Xia, check out Weibo. Your brother is such a caring person. Your brother helped your sister-in-law to level up his game account while your sister-in-law is still in the hospital. Mine only complains about me playing games everyday. (roll eyes.jpg)’

Friend 3, ‘Lou Lou! So the CP of your brother and Wen Fan that I’m fond of is really real! I am crying. I really envy you for being able to be so close to them and can even eat dog food on the spot!!’

Lou Xia, “…”

She didn’t think that it was a big deal when she read the message from Friend 1, because ever since little Fan Fan got famous from the avatar scanning program, many people had talked to her about Fan Fan. But the moment Lou Xia saw Friend 2 mentioning ‘level up game account’, she started to feel that something is not right.

When she read what Friend 3 sent to her, Lou Xia couldn’t help but started to think about the situation when she was at home.

Isn’t it true that Lou Wei had been trying to keep her away from Wen Fan all the time?!

After Lou Xia finished browsing through all the messages that her friends had left for her, she felt complicated. She then checked on the Weibo post that everyone had been talking to her about.

[@Lou Wei, Wen Fan is still asleep. Thank you everybody for your concern. In addition, I am the one who logged in with Wen Fan’s account to help him gather some EXP. My sister is using my account. Wen Fan’s account was not hacked.]

Lou Xia instantly gets what her friends were talking about in the private messages, “…”

Okay, my brother is the boss here. Sister-in-law is the his top priority. He is free to say whatever he wants!

Fine!

And since she’d seen it, of course she can’t pretend that she hadn’t. And so, Lou Xia clicked on Lou Wei’s Weibo post and posted a reply,

[Yeap, that’s how it is.(smile.jpg)]

The group of netizens who seemed as if they were living inside Weibo immediately clicked like on Lou Xia’s comment,

[I think I sensed some gossip!]

[Sister above +1]

Lou Xia recalled how Lou Wei lingered around Wen Fan and even requested her not to go downstairs if she didn’t have any business. She couldn’t stop herself from wanting to strike up a topic to tease Lou Wei.

But before she got to decide on a topic, she suddenly heard footsteps coming from the stairs behind her.

Lou Xia looked up and saw Lou Wei looking at her with a smiling face. He came downstairs with Wen Fan who is now in holographic mode. Wen Fan kept his head down.  However, the tips of his ears were red. Her brother was acting even more weird. He, who had always put on a serious face, never stopped smiling since just now.

Lou Xia wondered if her eyes were playing tricks with her.

Her, her brother actually knows how to smile?!

Lou Xia was really shocked by the smile that Lou Wei is wearing now.

But somehow, she sensed that there was a different aura between the two.

However, she can’t really tell what is different. It just seems like…something sweet is lingering in the air.

Lou Xia was convinced that she must have gone mad for having this idea.

There is no way that the term ‘sweet’ can be used on his brother?!

But the next second, she saw Lou Wei lowered his gaze to exchange glances with Wen Fan before turning his head to look at her.

When Lou Xia noticed the both of them staring at her, she suddenly felt guilty for intruding on the little couple’s world.

She also felt as if she was being outcast.

Lou Xia felt as if she had been stabbed by an arrow in her chest.

She quickly tries to come up with something to break the awkwardness, “Well, Fan Fan-”

Before she could finish her words, her brother raised his hand to interrupt her, “Call him sister-in-law.”

Lou Xia immediately sealed her lips and stared at them for a long while.

She felt happy but at the same time, she found it a little unbelievable.

“You guys, weren’t you just…” at most in an ambiguous state?

There were a lot of questions going through Lou Xia’s mind.

Lou Wei read her mind at once and said in a deep voice, “We are in love.”

Lou Xia, “…” Are you bullying single dogs?!

Lou Xia wanted to say something, but then she noticed her brother turned his head to the side and whispered something to Wen Fan as soon as he finished talking to her.

Lou Xia then noticed her sister-in-law blushing harder, like a snow-capped mountain stained with a layer of red mist. He looked really pretty.

“…” This simply slapping cold dog food on her face from all directions!!

Lou Xia gritted her teeth.

However, the two people standing across from her weren’t bothered by her reactions at all.
