"Can I sleep with you tonight?"

Lou Jiang said excitedly hugging his pillow while doing a pleading eyes towards the man who was lying quietly on his own bed. 

Gung Weixi gave him a glance for a second then he moved slowly towards the other side of the bed. Lou Jiang quickly jumped beside him and happily pulled the edge of his blanket "Thank you" he said

Gung Weixi is used to Lou Jiang urging him every night to sleep next to him. He will just do what the male wants because if he opposes, he will never shut up.

"Hey Weixi," Lou Jiang called out. "You always turn your back on me when we sleep together," he snorted. Gung Weixi didn't reply.

Lou Jiang grinned then he slowly lifted up his fingers and tickled Gung Weixi's nape, the male quickly reacted which made him turn around. Their faces met, so close.

Gung Weixi seemed very shocked because his face was only three inches away from Lou Jiang who was smiling back at him. He couldn't actually move.

"Are you shy? We're so close" Lou Jiang said, trying to tease the male

Gung Weixi remained silent, his ears were red as tomatoes. Lou Jiang saw it so he slowly pinched the male's ears "Even your ears turned red" he mumbled

This time, Gung Weixi reacted differently as he grabbed the male's wrist and spun him around. He cornered Lou Jiang under him and pulled his arms above his head.

Lou Jiang froze, he was surprised. He just wanted to tease the man but he didn't know that he would be like this. "W-Weixi?" he smiled nervously 

Gung Weixi didn't reply, instead he seized the male's wrist more.

"Ow!" Lou Jiang groaned as he winced his eyes from soreness.

"Don't tease me like this" Gung Weixi mumbled "It's hard to resist when it's you" he added again

"Ehh?" Lou Jiang widened his eyes like he would drop his jaw. He wanted to push the man but he couldn't even move a muscle.

{Ey Ey Ey! Calm down, I was just teasing you!}

Lou Jiang stamped his legs "Okay! Okay! I give up! I'm sorry...I'm sorry" he exclaimed like a child.

This is bad for him because it might trigger Gung Weixi's desire as an alpha and it will lead him to another attack. And before he could breathe freely, the familiar scents started to flow inside his nostrils. The sweet but strong odor,pheromones!

Lou Jiang started to feel nauseous and dizzy "W-Weixi, w-wait a minute.." He mumbled. He looked up and saw Gung Weixi's cold eyes like he was thinking something.

"Crap!" 

Gung Weixi can feel his own chest throbbing in pain, because he was controlling himself and his pheromones. He is very hot right now and he can dominate Lou Jiang in an instant. But he didn't want everything to turn like this, he didn't want to scare the male who was struggling under him.

"Weixi, control yourself!" Lou Jiang exclaimed "You can do it!"

Gung Weixi gritted his teeth, it's hurting Lou Jiang too because all of his pressure is flowing straight to the male's wrist. He didn't want that to happen again, it's not his fault. He didn't want to hurt another person close to him, especially Lou Jiang.

"Weixi, calm down…"

A familiar voice bangs his ears, a silhouette of her slowly formed in front of him. The nightmare he was trying to escape that night was coming back again. Gung Weixi was stunned for a moment. 

His lips formed one word "Mother"

A forgotten memory gradually appeared before him, darkness crawled up around him. He saw himself again, bloods everywhere. The knife in his hands was filled with hatred and regrets. He was shocked, his head started to throb again and the pain from the past was gently killing his consciousness.

He saw a beautiful face, lonely eyes like him. She cupped Gung Weixi's cheeks and whispered something "Please don't let your desires eat you alive, My Wei Wei" she smiled for the last time before her figure vanished into thin air.

Gung Weixi woke up, he woke up with his one arm reaching in the air. He was panting and trying to catch his breath. 

What happened?

Was it all a dream?

It felt so real.

It must be a nightmare..

Gung Weixi felt something heavy on his chest, it was Lou Jiang. The male was sleeping soundly hugging him while his arms were under the male's head. 

Gung Weixi turned around and faced Lou Jiang, he was like a baby. He observed him from the number of his breaths and how many times he had squinted his eyes in his deep slumber. Lou Jiang was very defenseless right now, and he will never do such things to this precious creature beside him. Gung Weixi was glad, because it was all a dream.

Lou Jiang rustled towards him, it caused his pajama to open up the upper button. His frail and white chest were revealed. It caught Gung Weixi's eyes quickly as he gulped all the saliva in his throat. 

He then lifted up the blanket and quickly covered Lou Jiang's body, carefully. His hands moved towards the male's head and pulled it closer to his lips delivering a peck. 

"Jiang, I want to protect you too" he whispered

The next morning, Lou Jiang woke up alone. He was a little bit sulky because Gung Weixi didn't wake him up. He proceeds to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. 

"I will sue him for leaving me alone and for not waking me up" Lou Jiang snorted while walking through the corridors. He reached Gung Weixi's favorite room in no time, the door was half opened.

He was surprised by what he saw.

The big canvas caught his eyes, there was a beautiful figure painted in it. The painting that Gung Weixi finished.
